I would recommend talking to UoB to anyone looking into buying property. We'd bought property before, lived in Poland and England,
and I have to say buying a house in Denmark with UdenomBanken was ever so easy, pleasant, and professional, compared.

We have had so much help from Ida @ UoB, with all sorts of things throughout the procedures, with good advice regarding the price and insurance. Ida helped us with all the legal stuff, and got us very reasonable conditions, at a good rate. Much appreciated, especially that reading through legal terms in a foreign language can be a bit nightmarish.

For a better picture - we have been in Denmark for no more than three years now. We have had a small but steady income all the way through. We had been talking to our bank for quite a while about a small mortgage, and had problems piling up regarding all sorts of things in all the properties we were looking at.

A friend suggested having a look at udenombanken.dk, which we did with some reserve. We just didn't know what it was :) Ida from UoB had contacted us instantly, and helped us collect all paperwork, got us preapproved, adviced on property price (which is super helpful when you don't know the local market; we got nearly 25% off the list price, btw.) And we are moving in to a house we loved, which our bank refused to finance for us.

To sum up, it's a professional service I would recommend to anyone looking into property purchase in Denmark, a foreigner or not. We will be asking UoB for an offer with our next property when we get to it.
