I didn’t get the flat I have booked for. And my review could stop here as it’s already enough.
But I got a terrible smelly thing full of humidity without the features I have asked for (I have plenty of photos and video which I will use and post everywhere).
I should have the WiFi included instead now I’m paying 7 pounds a day for connection, I should have the washing machine which is not usable so I need to go to a Laundry.
My dream of getting a short let to organise my new life became a nightmare.
Being handling with assistance since the moment I entered the flat, a lot of words, a small refund, that’s it. No alternatives, no protection, nothing. Impossible to get to talk with a manager by phone, telephone customer service is pretty bad.
Most of the times they don’t even answer the phone. They say if you don’t like the flat you have 24 hours to let’s us know...blablabla.
It’s a shame. They protect the landlords.
Their system is sick. If a landlord commits a fraud like my case the tenant has no protection. They take the money and that’s it.
I took a flat which was verified by Spotahome and I got a terrible place.
I will not stop.

A real company would have personally refunded all the rent amount, this is a shame. I will not stop.

I would absolutely not recommend booking a room or flat with Spotahome. The customer service is very ill-informed. You constantly get the wrong information, there are hidden fees that even the customer service cannot explain, they promise to contact the customer after but never do so.
They take hefty fees for doing nothing but looking at the room. They do not check if the offers are in accordance with the local rental laws. They are not a party to your contract with the landlord. They do not publish reviews from previous tenants of the specific offer. The only thing they do is shoot a couple of photos and a video. Sorry - but no.
EDIT: I did one booking and hat to cancel it due to the lack of customer service. Than I tried to book again but the lack of help and trustworthy answers from the booking agent and the customer service, specifically the chat, was beyond what was tolerable for me. I have repeatedly tried to contact them but have not gotten a reply besides prepared text-modules.

Easy and fast onboarding. The photographer came within a couple of days, very efficient, great pictures and the property has been published the same day. Within one week my apartment was rented.

I like the apartments they offer but they're expensive and no opportunity to visit them before paying the reservation. That would be great bc it's a rental agreement for one month aprox. Either you allow to try the apartment for a couple of days and pay a small amount in advance or you allow the tenant to visit the apartment before paying for the apartment.

As a landlord, I am quite disappointed with this company for 3 reasons:
1) Both tenants that I've had so far received no call/follow up information on how the process works, hence leaving that task to me, despite being their responsibility. This shows apawling customer service and makes it hard to provide a good experience to potential trnants.
2) Additionally, Spotahome landlord fees/charges are almost impossible to find online (apparently they charge 7% of the total contract + VAT), which shows how little they value transparency. In reality they charge much more than that, so beware fellow landlords. In my case it was more like 12%, which is too much for their services.
3) Finally, and more importantly, their customer service has been awful. They haven't replied to my emails or calls for 2 weeks now. Every time I call them I wait for 5 minutes, they ask me to leave a voicemail, and then nothing happens. I can imagine how stressful this may be for a tenant.

Firstly the site and app do not work. Secondly, terrible service in keeping me informed and contact.
Thirdly, 2 days before move in they contact me after me chasing them for 10 days and paying my deposit to tell me that they have had to cancel the contract.
