Sheri Miller helped me with an issue I had with Missouri dmv . She went way out of her way to help me get it resolved. It actually wasn’t her job to do that for me but she made phone calls to them and got it straight. Smart start is very fortunate to have Sheri on their team . Very positive personality person , made a bad situation good for me.

I can't say enough good things about Christine Giuliani, who answered the phone when I called Smart Start. She was patient, well-informed, and kind, especially since I was struggling to understand this whole process. She even found me an appointment in the next week, and adjusted the time so I didn't have to ask to get off work! She made everything quite clear and couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you! Now I just hope the rest of the service lives up to hers.

Made an appointment. Paid all but the shop fees over the phone. Show up on time for install. The shop owner Tom Chung from street sounds plus in north hills California, is the worst person to deal with. He doesn’t treat his clientele as customers. He thinks he’s the judge and jury. He insisted I leave my card with him for extra charges. Yet he wouldn’t say what kind of charges. Yes he did charge an extra 45. His explanation is take it up with smart start.
When I arrived there was another customer that had been there all day. She was left in the dark as well.
Lastly. As the time passed many different potential or past customers stopped in. Each time mr Chung stopped working on my car. But when I inquired on some audio / video components I had his full attention
I know that he’s not directly responsible with smart start. But the fact that he’s on the recommended installer list for smart start. Shows why u all get 2 stars

Danielle B was great to work with. She was great with getting back to me rapidly, answered my questions, and even setup my appointment to have my interlock device installed on the date and time I requested. It was a wonderful experience at this unfortunate and challenging time in my life.

I called and spoke to a rep this morning. My car is in the shop, has been for 2 weeks, Smart Start has all the supporting documentation of this. I called because I am not going to be able to take my car to be calibrated due to it sitting in the shop broken down and was basically told too bad. It is still going to be locked out and I still have to pay $60 for a code to unlock it... I was dumbfounded and asked why, why am I going to be penalized for my car being in the shop? I was then told "that is just the way it is, too bad, nothing can be done". I find this this to be total BS. Why, when Smart Start has all the documentation and knows EXACTLY where my car is and how long it has been there, am I going to have to buy a code to unlock the unit when the car is not drivable at all. So, If your car is in the shop and your calibration date is due... too bad, you're screwed and they don't give a crap.
Too bad, the guys who installed my unit were the best but the company does not give a crap about you as a customer enough to help with a situation like this..
