Had a very bad experience, just for some background I used their services as a bungee cord for my network. They claimed someone was abusing an exploit on their network or something like that (you can check their discord for the exact message) but long story short they had downtime for over 24 hours and it was a Saturday arguably the most profitable day of the week. I understand as per their TOS that they can not be held liable for damages and it even says they don’t have 100% uptime. But long story short it took them a very long time to fix, not even sure if it’s fixed because I ended up having to switch hosts because of this downtime and they offered no refund, compensation or an alternate server I could use during the downtime I understand that they don’t have to do this because of their tos but would have been nice of them. Just to conclude I had a friend in the past who had a TERRIBLE experience with skynode and despite their recommendations I went with them because of their affordability, now I realize I should have listened because over 24 hours of downtime is really unacceptable for and any production level Minecraft server. Overall I would NOT RECOMMEND their services if you’re looking for something reliable. Support was okay but seemed kind of patronizing as one of them jumped into a conversation after never speaking after I asked for a refund because of the downtime and said something like “as stated in our tos” implying I hadn’t read them at all not really sure if that’s how they meant it but it wasn’t a good experience for me at all.
Edit: I do still have a ticket open and will update my review according to the resolution
Edit2: I as you can see I was offered a refund for the inconvenience because of this support and kindness I have upped my review to 3 from 1.

Skynode is a great hosting service.
I have been with them after trying about 10 server hosts, including BisectHosting, Beastnode, MCProhosting and many more. Overall Skynode is a good minecraft server host that uses the more uncommon Pterodactyl panel, which in my opinion is much better than the standart Multicraft panel. Their discord offers quick support and knowledgeable staff. I currently run my BungeeCord network off of them and I have always been able to get support quick.
Their one downside is they seem to have a few more outages than other hosts, however they fix these outages quickly.
Overall 4/5 stars.

Worst experience ive ever had, its a scam. I tried to "Open Panel" but you have to login, when you do that you need a username and i dont know what that is. And then it brings you to an error code "404" and it says unverified, please confirm ur email. Which i did. So, don't use this, it's not that good and its a waste of money.

I had a bit of a issue, Chose the wrong plan and support in the discord server helped me through greatly, I recommend this if you want to have your first minecraft or VPS server.

My server is always up and running smoothly. I can AFK, I never get kicked, there's never any lag, it just works. EXTREMELY easy to set up. Solid, live support. I have no complaints whatsoever.

Dont do it you'll just be paying for a server that barely functions and idles at super high ram usage. Oh yeah and the storage isn't unlimited its very very much limited i had to argue for almost a week just to get 40GB on a server.

Edit: Don't trust those "excellent" reviews. It's "excellent" at first, right up until the first time you have an issue. If I had rated them at first, I'd have put "excellent", too. But I was moved to bother creating an account here today because they are decidedly NOT excellent.
I've used many different hosts over the years, I like to hop from one to the next to find one that's really great. This one had by far the worst customer service of all that I've tried. Though, I do have to admit their hardware ran great, I still wouldn't recommend it because their policies and general attitudes will likely have them out of business sooner than later. It's not any one person, it's their policies and processes, AND some of the people.
Ticketing system is especially obnoxious. I would put in a ticket through the website and never hear anything back, until I get someone's attention on the discord server. That person would have no access to the ticket I originally put in, wasting days of waiting.
My servers tend to go on for a few months before everyone moves on to something else, so I let the servers run out. This time we had all basically stopped the day the last bill came in, but being a fair person, I get that it is what it is and we paid a whole month we didn't use. Which is fine, except that I was auto-debited the follow month despite all of my previous payments being manual.
I put in a ticket to cancel and get refunded for that erroneous charge (I didn't even know autopay was an option, let alone that I was apparently in that status. Even if I did knowingly sign up for it, the customer service response was completely unacceptable). First, ticket was resolved with a message saying my cancellation would be processed, but didn't mention the money. I gave it a few days to see if the credit would be posted, but nothing.
So, I put in a second ticket asking for the status of my refund and I get a respnse the next day later saying asking where I even put in the original ticket because they can't find anything. I respond, explaining it again, and a day later get a response about how they can't issue a refund after the first 14 days, even though I had put in the ticket 10 minutes after being charged.
So, I took it to the discord, which I should have in the first place and all I got were lectures about how this is the policy and I agreed to it when I signed up. No accounting for human error, no realization that by refunding $45 now (yeah, we were paying $45 per month! Which is already nuts) would mean that I'd come back and pay for 3-4 months again in the future. They continued to stick to their guns right up to the CEO coming in and proceeding to also give a lecture about how this is what I agreed to.
SO, this situation may not happen to you, of course, but if this is their attitude towards customer service, in such a competitive industry, I'd say they're not going to stay in business very long. For the premium prices they are charging, you can do WAY better.

I googled, "inexpensive Minecraft hosting" and that's what I got! The support is great, and I could not be more pleased with the amount of options I have when working with my server. I can upload custom JARs and customize it however I need. Because they use Pterodactyl, I can manage the server.properties and other files without a problem, and they even support SFTP, which is totally amazing! I have used many hosts, but this is the best I have come across in the long time I have been hosting my personal server.

Insanely good services, whole process was fast and easy, if a problem emerged it was dealt with fast by the support team and just overall a nice experience. If you want to start a server it is really easy to do even if you never tried getting a server before.

Okay updating my review. Before it was three stars because the server was functional but the support wasn't that good, but now my server isn't even functional and I receive 0 support.
*****And to preface this review, i'd like to note with my major server malfunction Jesse (the CEO) blamed it on me, and said i'd have this same issue with other hosts and it's not on their side, well I copied everything over to pebblehost and it works fine! So he was lying, dunno why he had to butt into the support ticket anyway****
When I first started this service I literally waited 24 hours for someone to even put my server up, asked in their support discord and was literally ignored by every support tech (they would respond to other people but flat out ignore my questions in chat).
When I finally got help they didn't even say sorry, but at least my server was working. Now a week later my server is spammed with errors, constantly crashing and after 32 hours of waiting in a ticket my only response is "sorry it took so long, try restarting your server that should fix the issue".
I told them no it doesn't fix the issue, i've already tried that and I would like a refund if you're not going to help me, so the CEO Jesse told me "this isn't an issue with our servers, we can only give you a refund if your in the refund limit". They are literally essentially just refusing to help me with anything and I would never recommend this host to anyone flat out. The most cold robotic support.

Horrible support and its not even 24/7 support as listed on their website. Staff is rarely active, you will be waiting at least two days for a simple response that does not even answer your original tickets question... Join the Discord you think to get quicker support? Nope! If you join the Discord you will see other clients complaining about the exact same thing. But what about the servers? Are they good for the cheap price they offer? Nope! God help you if your on node BGT-NA04 because everyday I had my admin Minecraft panel go down because of a "timeout". Ask staff through the chat box whats going on? Our technicians are already working on the solution... Last read: 6 hours ago. Is my panel working so I can connect to my server now? Nope! Even if the cheap prices might be tempting it is not worth the headaches that will come shortly after. I had seven... SEVEN! Lightweight plugins that require little RAM to even operate. But seemed the server couldn't even keep up. Oh also when I would try to upgrade my ram from 4 to 6GB of RAM the server thought it okay to take an additional 1GB to even start so I would sit idle at 3GB used to just turn on my server after I upgraded to 6GB for seven plugins. This hosting company must oversell their servers trying to fit as many possible servers into one just so they can make a profit.

100% the best server host you'll find.
Skynode provides everything you need for hosting a minecraft server. It's very complex, and if you don't know what you're doing, you f*** stuff up. But if you ask around a bit and get settled, you'll swiftly find out that you can customize literally everything for your server. The support in discord is very fast, and most questions are answered within the hour. I don't understand why all other reviews here are all negative about the support, I have had no trouble at all thanks to the staff team.

I've hosted with the company for a good time now, 6+ months. And I can with certainty say that they're not as good as advertised. I am unhappy with their customer support and hosting. I've had one main problem for as long as I've hosted with them: time-outs for multiple players, all from different continents. Time-outs that do not make sense. Whether it be on a Vanilla, Craftbukkit, Spigot or paper server. They happen.
I've contacted customer support multiple times, after none of which my problem was solved. I've opened a new ticket nearly two weeks ago and it's still open with barely any response in it. I've said that if this continued I'd be thinking about getting a new host. Which I subsequently did. Same files. No time-out problem for anyone.
I'm also wondering whether or not their nodes are overpopulated or not. My node seemed quite unstable especially at certain timeperiods (same time every day). I'm assuming that this is the time that server back-ups are made. But when I asked directly for a back-up they said none were available because I wasn't paying for them separately. No back-up service unless payed for? Ridiculous. And should my assumption be true, they have back-ups anyhow and are lying to you.
Recently, I have decided to purchase a Skynode server again and I am really impressed with the quality of support that they provide. When asking for help, I always receive fast, accurate support and they are really helpful. Their servers are excellent, they are cheap for a very good quality. I would also say this applied to when I previously owned a server from them even if in the past support times were a bit slow.
Great Service, would definitely recommend using. Keep up the good work guys!
