I have made 2payments to pay off my balance and still have not gone through.i have my receipt to show I have made 2payments.whats up with that.ill never order anything from them again. Guess going to have to get my lawyer on this.

I bought an electric can opener and toaster from Seventh Avenue, almost $90 for the two.
They are the most cheaply made and useless small appliances I have ever seen.
The can opener doesn't work at all, and the toaster is made so the bread falls down past the brackets to hold it and gets stuck
And, it only toasts one side of bread at a time.
These were Ginny's brand which I've never heard of and now I see why.
When I called, they hassled me as I told them I have the return label but no box to return it. I explained I am homebound in a wheelchair and have no way to get a box.
She told me to " just find one". I had to tell her I was reporting this to the BBB before she finally told me to throw it out and she would credit my account. A week or so prior, I had ordered a memorial garden stone for my daughter because her Dad passed Jan. 27,2021, and also some wind chimes for my daughter's birthday in April. I noticed that the order was not being shipped, so I called again.
They told me due to my Credit Bureau report, I would have to pay a down payment which is normally only needed if you exceed you credit limit. I was $100.00 under my limit, pay more than my minimum amount due and never been late since I started with them in Dec. 2020.
After calling for 2 days and no explanation, I cancelled that order and my account
NEVER again. These people are dishonest crooks.
I found a memorial garden stone with the same verse, much prettier and prettier wind chimes at Wayfair for a better price and it's already arrived!.
BEWARE OF SEVENTH AVENUE!
Over-priced cheaply made merchandise and customer service bullies.
Very bad business practices.

I ORDERED A LAMP JANUARY 12,2021. I,ORIGINALLY UNDERSTOOD THE SHIPPING DATE OF MARCH 5TH, THEN INFORMED IT WOULD BE MARCH 19, THEN AGAIN INFORMED IT WOULD BE APRIL 9TH...I CANCELLED TODAY AFTER RESEARCHING OTHER REVIEWS...WE'LL SEE HOW THIS END.

I received a catalog from Seventh Avenue a couple of weeks ago. I decided it would be wise to check their reviews first. Thank goodness I did!!! They are just another catalog company with serious problems. I don’t need anything from any company that has such terrible customer service issues.
I tried to have my name removed from their mailing list, but they are requiring very personal information, like SS#, date of birth, etc... No one has ever asked for my personal information just to remove me from their mailing list. I’ll just burn the damn catalog when they I receive them.

Any problems I've had, like Fedex tearing up a box with a cabinet in it, was resolved not by fedex but by 7th Ave.
They work with you on payments should you have unexpected less cash available that month.
I've had no problems resolving issues with 7th Ave and that's with purchases amounting to over $1000. 00

I have purchased some somewhat nice bedspreads and comforters. However everything I've received is made in China. EVERYTHING. To be honest I only do business with them because I want to attempt to establish some credit because my score has taken some pretty heavy blows.

This doesn't even deserve one star! An order was sent back and because of Covid, there has been a delay in return shipping. Someone called and threatened and said the most disgusting things! Name calling, even the Fing B words were used and credit was threatened. Will Never spend another dime here and will be letting others know. This happened to one of the most kind and honest and best people I know. I heard the whole phone call. My heart hurts for the way she was treated. In the end, someone else made it right but this person did NOT deserve to be treated this way and if they keep people on the phones that call and talk to people like that, they don't deserve one more dime. Word of mouth travels fast and I will be sure to spread the word. This employee deserves to be fired! Completely disgusted and heart sick about this!

I bought a curio cabinet from 7th ave we can't even put it together we put the bottom pieces together when we tried to pick it up to do the top the bottom fell apart the screws fell out. They would not hold. There's a lot of glass to be inserted but how do we use this when it won't stay together. I would send it back but I cut up the boxes it came in. What am I to do with this worthless piece plus I was told I would get 25% off because you sent two bottoms and not the top or glass and mirrors. It was for waiting and your mistake. 25% off the price. I should get a refund since we can't even assemble it. I will be waiting for a response. Stella Walker [email protected]

After 12 years of spending too much money, but LOVING the products, my account was HACKED! Someone got into 7th Avenue's system and spent $4000 dollars. They got the bank account info stored on 7th Avenue site and PAID money towards my balance - a LARGE chunk - from my checking account so they could buy more stuff. 7th Avenue had to close that account and open a new one. But they didn't give me my credit limit back. They claimed I had to WAIT to build a credit line back up! Twelve years paying ON TIME and spending too much money with them and I no longer have a credit limit?! Because THEIR system was penetrable I get punished!? They said to wait... NO! I won't wait to be treated like this. This was THEIR fault. Their system I've noticed can't even handle the payment process. I have to mail a check to be assured my payment is applied. Or they'll charge me to do it by phone. No more dealing with them. It's not worth it! I'll save my money and buy local from now on!

I placed my order on the 25th, at 4:23am, and paid the exuberant amount for OVERNIGHT shipping (according to THEIR rules, I could count on the overnight shipping, because my order was placed BEFORE the 11pm cutoff time. The 26th was a holiday, and the 27th, I received an email from FedEx that my order would be delivered on Monday. I'm sorry, but overnight shipping would mean that I would receive it the 28th. So, the night of the 27th, I called Seventh Avenue customer service, and this MAN promised me that he sent a message to upper management, to call FedEx, to change my shipping status for me to receive it on the 28th and that it would take 3 hours. The morning of the 28th, I woke up and found out that that MAN had LIED to me, and when I SHOULD HAVE by their rules received my order today, the 28th, my order will sit on the FedEx yard in Dallas until Monday. I also had the PLEASURE of speaking to a SUPERVISOR by the name of JR, who didn't like what I was saying (mind you, I was NOT cussing at the young punk), HUNG UP ON ME! A supervisor, not liking what a non cussing customer was saying, so this high up representative of the company acted like a wussy baby.

My mother is a deaf senior person and I assist her with her finances. I was looking at her Credit report and realized that it dropped by 86 points. I looked into this a little more and realized that one of her payments arrived to seventh avenue a few days late. I reached out to the company on behalf of my mother, who has been a customer of this company for 12 years, and requested a good faith removal of the delinquent payment from her credit reports. This company stated it was against company policy and refused to remove this reporting. I have had this same scenario happen to me and my credit card companies have offered to remove it because they value my business. I would not recommend this company, as I do not believe that they value their customers.

I got a credit update of 200 dollars so decide to buy items I have 2100 credit limit when I tried to order my items they said they could not approve the sale and I would have to pay 546 dollars to get this item. If you give me a credit line why are you checking my credit isn't it given if you give me a certain amount to use you have already did the checks I am closing my account Beware of this company!!

I'm so disappointed. I ordered a jacket 10/19 that was shipped but later said to have been lost during shipment. I found this out after several attempts to locate it using the tracking number. They had to reship it 11/02. I am highly upset as it was a birthday gift an now I don't know when I will receive it as there is no tracking info.

Horrible customer service has horrible attitude.my mother ordered 2 things from them. Has not recived either of them. Was told that one was delivered and never got them. I called and they said they no longer had the one product they will just give her a credit which was fine. They told me her other product would ship dec 11th that she wouldn't need to pay anything till this item shipped. (This was back in August) fast forward to today, my mother recived a bill threatening they would turn her into the credit company and other things if she didn't pay the bill by the due date. So I called in and got a whole attitude from both of the customer service people. My mother told me to cancel the order and tell them to not send anymore catalogs. She would not order from them anymore! Once it was clear the woman hung up on me! Don't trust these people! You'll never get the product! Then they expect you to pay and if you don't they threaten you!

I payed off a cd player than right after I payed it off. It completely quiet working
Than you sent me a new cd player the next day the replacement cd player will not play cds at all but the radio works only. Two cd players that stop working. I will pay off my dvd player but I'll never order anything from seventh avenue again. Because I even had to get a replacement dvd player. I'm just not satisfied with electronics products

I ordered a set of dishes. A cup was broken so they sent me another 1 that was shattered. Again I called and they sent me a whole set of dishes. I was told to take a cup out and return the rest with the broken cup. They said they can't send just 1 cup. But they already did. I said I would keep the dishes if they'd give me a discount. They said they can't do that.So I'm returning EVERYTHING.Im tired of getting ripped off.Not to mention time and money. They lost a good customer.Im done ordering on line. Beware

I returned an item that took over a month to get back and process, I had to pay pay for the turn on there over price piece of trash item , that didn't even work . I still owe them 28 bucks and some change for the postage of the return . They call me many times a day everyday . I will pay this cuz i am working improving my credit but they will hear an ear full when call to make the payment and I will make the payment over the phone !! I did not want to rate this a 1 cuz i believe it doesn't even deserve that 1 star . I this review will not let me submit without it.

I order through seventh ave and Montgomery ward which is apparently the same company along with Swiss Colony I disputed a charge that Swiss colony states I made with them and since I did that they took away my credit with seventh ave and Montgomery ward. I have never missed a single payment with either of those. And if I would’ve ordered something through Swiss colony I would have never missed a payment with them either. That’s OK if they do not want my business I will shop elsewhere just terrible for a customer who always pays on time.

I absolutely love seventh Avenue I've gotten many things from outside picnic table it was awesome loved it to shoes loved them very comfy also have gotten a few decor items for my house like a family plaque hanging only wall with out last name on it. I'd give more than 5 stars if available!

Worst company ever! Total scam. No matter how early monthly payments are made to them, they send out late notices constantly and call repeatedly claiming monies are owed. Don't waste your money or time. It's not worth it.
