My money, 218 € even since 10/18/2018, in a ‘transfer’ by the Leopay/Transferwise platform, disapear!
The money dont arrived in Leopay account and dont return to my account. The ‘bank’ Leopay answer emails explain the guilty is all the Sata Bank. Is freezing, is in limbo and no one cares!
I feel from all the companies involved, a lack of respect and credibility.
I want my money back! Since october? Five months with my money? When will I get back something belongs to me?

I am writing regarding the funds of 1,142.00 Euros I have transferred into my bank account on 18th of October 2018 which went missing.
I have been contacting LEOPAY BANK, SATA BANK and TRANSFERWISE and I have not received an appropriate answer so far.
It is unbelievable that your banks keep the funds and leave the customer in this situation for over 3 months.
As the wire transfer was done through TRANSFERWISE and sent to LEOPAY BANK, I am notifying both companies through this email that I am taking legal actions if you don't release the funds immediately. I also have all documentation I need to go ahead and make this situation public.

Last week I asked LeoPay again about my money, a TransferWise transference from October 18th, 2018 and they told me there is no news from MFSA and that I should contact SataBank by e-mail, which I already tried several times without any answer from them.
I don't understand why I, a LeoPay customer who did not even know about the existence of SataBank, should contact them directly. Yet, I tried several times, without any chance of success
The LeoPay's customer support seems to get worst at every contact. They don't send me the inquiry number anymore, their chat is not working. I don't know what to do anymore but suggest everyone avoid LeoPay and avoid Satabank as well! No one deserves to have such an awful experience.
Satabank doesn't seem to care at all. They did not answer any inquiry about my money.

They robbered um Money.
Leopay use the Satabank to operate and them the Satabank blocked accounts of all customers without any warning and 6 months later they still didn't return our funds and nothing is happening. Never put your money in this bank they are scammers. I dont have my f. Money and I really need it. I've send a million of e-mails and they just have ignored me for long. Its unacceptable.

1 - My sister and my mother sent money to my LeoPay account via TransferWise (1000 euros).
2 - The money did not reach my account. This was not due to a technical problem between LeoPay and SataBank
3 - In contact with TransferWise, they said the money was sent. They also sent me proof of payment
4 - In contact with LeoPay I was informed that the money did not reach my account at this bank. They have completed the information by saying that they use an intermediary bank to carry out transactions via SEPA, and that intermediary bank is SATABANK.
The satabank have my money and I can prove it legally, if necessary.
I NEED THIS MONEY AND I NEED NOW! I NEED TO PAY MY BILLS!
Please, give my money back! make it happen and make it happen fast.

Stranded in another country because I was stupid enough to trust in Satabank. The bank has had it license revoked so my account is blocked. I can't even get money out to eat.

I called the MFSA. Spoke to a nice gentleman there. He explained the bank is not insolvent - they stop operations to prevent a run on the bank following E&Y's appointment. I hope this operation does not create a run.
He said they were aware that people had tax bills etc coming up. Yes, I am sure Malta wants its taxes.

It is theft by the Maltese government. You have a deposit - and are 100% legal. Then the Maltese government stops all activities. I am not sure that is legal under European law. We actually phoned the police in Malta today - they said we should call Interpol via our Embassy.

On the one hand they strictly work follow EU commands but on the other hand every deposit is named electronic money and not protected by European Union laws ...So they do whatever they wish under that excuse...
Today they blocked aaaaaaaall accounts untill they find a solution to a problem that does not exist..Technically they grabed all depositors money use them anyway they wish and will return them anytime soon ((3-6 months)) and then return them..These types of activities can only state them Dangerous and criminals.Thank god i had no money there...
Let me explain the other side of the coin.YOU WERE ALL WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!! E money is not deposit and not protected by european union laws....

I am very happy with SataBank services. The process for all services are very quick and I am pleased to work with them. Like all new banks we have to have a bit patience regarding all services and i trust that all lately situations will be solved with professioanlism.

It is a shame that customers can not use their own money, the behavior of the central bank is not absolutely justified, you can not leave customers without any economic resources. All banks in Malta will pay this behavior

I had no previous information about the closing down. Worse of all i needed the money for medical expenses and treatments, but i cannot get it... Good thing i recorded every conversation and mails from them, gonna compile them and sue their asses to the ground!!! My health is not your profit area!!!

No trust in Malta's finance system
MFSA licensed Satabank and now has frozen all accounts! People have no access to their money, no warnings at all, and no further information for what is going to happen now.

Works well for my business. And my accountant loves it, especially when all invoices come in and u have to process many payments. Their mass payment service is solid. Best I've seen so far as no api integration and no installations are required.

MFSA suspended the bank over the weekend; took hours and hours for the bank to inform customers - in the meantime no online banking, all cards suspended, and no way to withdraw funds.
Still no access to online banking, no access to funds - leaving 100's of customers and businesses in a mess.
