All ending up being useless and unwatchable. Long lag, sound not in synch, tediously slow and buggy and I'm have fibre to the house. Last one about to go in the bin (along with roku business model I suspect). Don't but roku, buy amazon firestick. Roku just deteriorates with age and their built in obsolence programme. Not worth the time it would take to pea on my last most recent roku purchase. Be warned, don't buy roku, they are a con. My husband is team Google and has Google TV on one of our TVs and Roku on another, and he even agrees Roku is superior. The interface is better, more aesthetic. The voice search truly covers all apps. Platforms like Google eliminate major competitors like Prime from search results which is very annoying. Roku will show every option. Also, Roku has a new remote with a “find my remote” feature! This is genius as the remotes are small and my kids are constantly hiding them. Love Roku so much. They acknowledge that the design of the product makes it unsuitable for use in many TVs because it's not got enough air to dissipate heat away from the TV, and sell an extension cable to put it further away from the TV. This being the case: why not just put the 10p cable in the box alongside the £50 device? The remote is also advertising laden, and the buttons are prone to accidental presses whenever you so much as breathe near it.
