Resolve was very helpful in finalizing my contract for my first job. They are available, easy to work with and especially were very quick to respond with my questions and also negotiating the terms with the employer’s attorney. I would highly recommend their team for any physician contract review, also they walk you through the benefits and you get to speak with an analyst. I would use their services again in future.

Very thorough, prompt, and understandable review of my contract was provided. Based on the analysis I was able to negotiate a critical aspect of my employment contract. Also, the comparison of my contract terms and reimbursement rates to regional and national averages was insightful.

Resolve has been an excellent resource. They were very knowledgeable and helped me negotiate a contract I am very happy with. They also helped me figure out a way to save money on my student loans, too!

I used Resolve for my Job Search. Can you do it yourself? Yes. Does Resolve make it easier? Oh, yes.
I had a very specific geographic requirement (my husband was in a 3-year program), specific specialty requirement and a J1 waiver requirement (in a not so waiver friendly location). I was in a busy fellowship and did not have the time/energy to contact and apply to jobs. The number of responses was overwhelming and there is no way, under the circumstances, that I could have found the Job that I did by 'doing it myself'. The way my job search was handled, the organization of all the responses, the reminders(I needed them...thanks Paige, Melissa, Courtney), and professionalism...Impressive. All I can say is that I have no complaints. After my interview and acceptance, they helped with contract review and negotiation. The knowledge about legal and visa aspects was also very helpful. I truly felt like I could call, text or email my agent at Resolve for anything related to my job search and they would have the solution. It was worth it for me but might not be for all. Now, if you have the time to search for jobs (post-call days, easy training schedule) and do not have too many specifics, you could do it by just asking/looking around. They are expensive but worth it. The way I looked at it was that it was a small price to pay in the long run. A 3-year contract in the wrong place away from my family would have been a disaster.
Assess your situation. If you have the time, energy and a wide professional network, do it yourself. If you are limited by visa requirement, location, specialty, type of job, busy hours, etc., RESOLVE is the answer.

I had the opportunity to work with one of your attorney, he reviewed my contract, negotiated on my behalf. His review was thorough. He was able to identify words in the contract that may cause conflict of interest in the future. My contract was unique, because it was a community recruitment contract. The hospital guarenteed my salary for a year, and in return, I will remain in the community for 3years'but the practice will be mine. The contract was very detailed and terms were difficult to understand, but Kyle is an excellent attorney. He was able to pick up terms that could cause problem along the line, if not addressed now. I enjoyed working with him. This is the best service, I have ever had, Since I started using contract Attorney to review contract

YES! Totally worth it.
I normally don't write more than a few words, if I write at all during a review. However, I was very impressed with the services I received for $1K. I had a lawyer review my contract, we discussed what I could negotiate and should vs what was unrealistic. That conversation with the lawyer, in addition to the information I was sent regarding typical salary in my region, allowed me to negotiate another $50K increase.
I recommend going over the contract yourself to create a list of questions you may have before speaking with the lawyer. This helped me get further answers during my phone interview with the lawyer. However, even then I had a few more questions. Not to worry, Kyle (lawyer assigned to me) was great in getting the answers returned to me via email within a day or so. When the final negotiations were underway, I emailed Kyle and his assistant, and explained the urgency to have an answer within 2 days. I had answers later that day! He was able to run my last version of the contract through a computer program that looked for any wording changes.
Initially, I was also assigned a benefit specialist, Chris, and I thought I don't need this; my benefits aren't going to change. Well, Chris turned out to be fantastic. He briefly went over what I had and the types of insurance I already had. Then explained other avenues for retirement, like deferred compensation, which turns out my new employer does have. Again, more information that allowed me to be a better informed negotiator.
FYI, they do offer to negotiate on your behalf, I chose not to have the lawyer speak for me. Your situation may be different. I have been practicing for 8 years, going from a successful practice in a low cost of living situation to a highly competitive market in a high cost of living region.

I was very pleased with my experience with Resolve. I vetted a number of companies/lawyers including Resolve prior to deciding to work with them. It's nice to see that they're BBB accredited and the fee they charge is a great value. When it comes to employment contracts they have all the tools to conduct a successful negotiation. I had come prepared to my conversations with them after reading several of the books out there on transitioning to practice and it was nice that they understood the nuances of physician employment contracting. We were able to get into more depth than other conversations I had with prospective representation. We talked about what was important to me and were able to gain some ground. I'll use them again when I negotiate my next employment contract.
NB I don't usually leave reviews, but these type of reviews helped me to pick Resolve. There's so many lawyers/companies out there it's hard to make a decision on who to pick to help you with your employment contract. Best of luck to all others in their contract reviews. As an aside, I'd say make sure you have someone review your contract. I've heard about a number of situations where MDs were blindsided by certain aspects of their contracts.

I honestly hardly ever write reviews for anything, but I feel compelled to share what a wonderful experience this has been, especially talking to the benefits analyst and financial advisor, Chris. Chris is personable, caring and will tell you things as they are without hiding any ulterior motives or trick you into things that will make him money. He clearly has the best interest of the client in mind and frankly has changed my view of how to look at financial advisor. I will certainly be working with him in the future whenever I need more advising or someone to manage my finances. The attorney Kyle who reviewed my physician contract was also very proficient, straightforward and was able to change important language in my contract to protect me for the future, especially regarding termination language and clauses of fair competition. Wonderful experience and worth every penny of the fee!

I used Tim at Resolve to renegotiate my physician assistant contract with my current employer. He provided compensation statistics to let me know where the mean salary was according to the part of the US. He negotiated the contract on my behalf and was very timely with his email responses. I would use them again.

Working with Resolve for the first time in reviewing my contract was nothing less than an exceptional experience. The execution of their services exceeded my expectations. They are expedient in their communication and extremely thorough. They take their time to work carefully with you to ensure your needs are fully addressed. They were my best advocates when it came to negotiating my contract. I am so grateful for their service. If you are looking for an excellent attorney Mr. Claussen is the attorney to go with. You will not be disappointed.

Slow correspondence with attorney. Last version of contract was not even reviewed at all. Benefits review was satisfactory, great input, very useful aspect.
Cortney went above and beyond to help resolve this and clarify that my email was simply missed! Fortunately, the addendum I was hoping to have reviewed was not a major part of the contract and I signed it after my own review, but for anyone who has a deadline, I recommend you reach out to customer service if there are any delays. Very responsive within minutes.
