We tried to purchase a 10 week old havanese puppy named Coco. From the beginning I had my doubts, but the price was in my price range so I couldnt back down. The payment type they wanted was either CashApp, Paypal, or a gift card, but not our credit card or a check. I wanted to call the family and see what Coco looked like in real time, but they said that they had camera issues and could not video chat. After convincing them to call me, a man named "jon" picked up the phone and talked to me in a heavy eastern Asian accent. The pictures sent to me were of a caucasian family holding coco, and because I am eastern Asian, I asked what accent he had. He proceeded to call me a racist and that the pictures and accents do not matter. He also said he was based in Florida while his pictures were in california. Jon also said that coco was now 12 weeks. She had aged 2 weeks in 4 days apparently. I looked up signs of scam and realized this checked off all of the boxes. I hope this business gets looked at very closely.
