Awful customer service - staff are so rude. Products are expensive and poor quality and use so much unnecessary plastic. Never shopping here again

I ordered 2 face creams and received 2 eye gloss'. I get that mistakes happen so i called customer service to request the correct items be sent out. I was informed this is not possible, instead I have to wait for packaging to be sent out (3 days wait), then go out of my way to send this package back to you, then 14 days after you receive it I will get a refund and then I will have to place the order again... (Not a chance now).
So me trying to buy a product and have it delivered in 3-5 days turned into an estimated 25 day process (based on the 5 days it took to deliver it to me, 5 days to get back to you, a day aside for me to make it to the post office and then the refund time). This is providing there are no delays. So i emailed the customer care team who said I could download a returns label and that the refund would now take 5-8 days (this is not standard of any bank). And lo and behold, after 8 working days there is still no refund in my account. So i call customer service again to see where the refund is. The lady advises me that it will be processed tomorrow, meaning another 3-5 working day wait (inconsistent with timings on this). When I explain that this is taking too long and i'm not happy, the lady repeats that I 'only' have to wait another 5 days. It 'might' be quicker since i paid with paypal too. Honestly, i find this awful customer service. I asked to speak to a manager to be told there isn't one available. Really. That seemed like an auto reply because the managers cannot be bothered to actually manage the problems.
So yes. Awful customer service. Delays in a simple bank transaction. No offer of a goodwill gesture. No manager. No real apology. Would not order online again.

The only reason they have 2* is that my skin loves their foundations and primers. Ordering online is a nightmare though and their customer service is rude and extremely unhelpful. No matter which department you email or call its 'sorry I cant help you call xyz' and so on, i eventually received my order 3 weeks later. If you can find what you're looking for physically in a shop fabulous if not avoid.

Terrible experience, I tried to order a product online and the website said my transaction could not be processed yet they have taken the money.
I have tried emailing and get no response and I have been calling their customer service line but their customer service is awful.
I get through to the same woman every time who just says sorry computers down so please call back, so no one will advise me about a refund

If I ever need new make-up, I usually check with NYX to see if they have anything suitable, first. The availability of the products is a big plus for me, as I much prefer physically going out to a shop and purchasing cosmetics than ordering online, so I can use testers etc.
I love that they are cruelty free and also affordable. The quality of the products gives you great value for your money, and they have such a wide variety of cosmetics, you’re bound to find what you’re looking for!

literally one of the very few brands that offers my skin tone match! SO happy i found them, and happy to learn not too expensive. must say always receive good service in the stores too, all reps are very helpful and not overbearing with selling products.

I have never purchased NYX online. I always purchase the products at the drug store down the road. I have loved everything I have tried and now NYX is the only brand I use. Very reasonably priced and still a great product. I used to swear by other, substantially more expensive brands but NYX blows them away. Great all day wear, never have to reapply (I do use a setting spray) unless I have eaten, then I do need to reapply lip color. Great line of make up!

They effectively don't let you cancel an order placed at night because of their customer support hours, and they marked most of their items as final sale discount so I couldn't return it. Shady company.

The prices are very attractive as well as quality. I prefer eyeshadow palettes and eyeliners as they are long lasting and if I want to look great during the whole evening, I know that these products never let me down. I can recommend these cosmetics without hesitation, especially for those who have sensitive skin as it doesn't cause a reaction.

Customer service is AWFUL! Made and order on 31st October and never received it! It was ‘apparently’ attempted to be delivered on the 6th November which is categorically not true as people were in and no delivery note was left. I emailed nyx 3 times before they got back to me using the contact page and the help email address! I had back and forth emails with them for a bit with them telling me they couldn’t give me a refund until they had received the item back In their warehouse...baring In mind it had already been a WEEK since the ‘attempted’ delivery. They then just stopped replying which I think is DISGUSTING. I then phoned as I’d had enough and it apparently made it back to the warehouse on 19th November. I was then told I had to wait up until 14 DAYS to get my money back!!!! The man on the phone couldn’t do anything to fasten this up and apparently there was no manager or senior person I could speak to. He then emailed head office on my behalf and said they would reply to me and they didn’t! He also told me that nyx have a problem with their delivery company so that doesn’t fill me with much confidence! I am EXTREMELY angry about this! Still waiting for my money and it’s been nearly a month now! I am fuming and so disappointed in this service as I really like nyx but I will not be buying from them anymore. Nothing grinds my gears more than terrible customer service! DO NOT ORDER ONLINE! Not worth the headache!

A lot of their products are really nice and decently priced. However there are some products that are really not good at all. I found some of their liquid lipsticks to not have a great formula and be very dry and crumble quickly.

I am against animal testing when it comes to cosmetics and use animal friendly brands however, I have heard that NYX are possibly stopping this so they can sell in ‘CHINA’. This to me is absolutely disgusting hence, the reason why they are only getting 2 stars from me. There is NO excuse to use animals in any way for testing products!

No wonder they don't encourage their customers to use trustpilot!
They lost my order: it was so hard to contact them to ask them about it, sometimes their phonelines are just off during the day. Eventually they admitted (email) that they lost it, and said I would get a refund. Guess what? 3 weeks later, no refund. They say they can't deal with my complaint now, can I call back. Will I ever get my refund?
They invite you to leave a review and then if its a bad one, they just reject it!
Just improve your service, guys!

I ordered 5 products from this company. 2 out out of 3 eyeshadows were crumbled because they were not properly packaged. In the past week I have attempted to call their customer service 4 times without an answer. They obviously do not have enough people working. Each time I am told by an automated system everyone is busy, I will recieve a call back etc. I also tried email through the contact form on their website with no reply after 3 days. I regret ordering from their site and wish I had just ordered their products through another retailer.

NYX Cosmetics customer service is nonexistent. I tried calling them for one week with no success. I would call their number and be put on hold and am told, after 20 minutes waiting, to call back later...they are too busy with other customers. I call back and am asked if I want to receive a callback. I say yes. I get a callback saying that they are too busy with other customers and I should call again. This is unacceptable. I must have called 10 times, asking for a callback. Never was able to talk with anyone all week....and it was about placing an order!!
