Poor communication from seller as seller never reached out to me to let me know product was not in stock.
Sellers claim of “1000 units” would be in stock very soon was bogus.
Seller waisted almost a month of my time as they never deliver product as promised.
This seller, in my experience, is shady and should not be trusted with your business. With lots of places online to do your shopping, don’t get ripped off by doing business with North Shore Commercial Door.

Poor customer service. Placed order and waited 10 days hoping it would arrive soon. When I called to check on status I was told I received an email to notify me the item was not in stock. When I stated I did not receive notice, I was told I was incorrect, it must be in my spam folder. I requested the order be canceled and the rep said OK and immediately disconnected the call. No apology or confirmation that the order would be canceled.

Looks like the company going bad. Taking the orders and do not fulfill them. I made a purchase and also a week later got an email that my items back ordered. But I have a screenshot from their website said "ships the next business day". This is not true! 2 weeks no sipping, no ETA, nothing.
I think the company became a scam!

Customer Service Lacking
We ordered the Xcluder Rodent Block Garage Door replacement kit, which we did NOT need. I even asked by email if I needed the retainer piece and was advised "yes, need retainer." We were able to use our existing t-type frame on our garage door. As we ordered the kit, we are not able to return the retainer as per policy you have to return ALL ITEMS that were originally shipped in the box. We also called, left messages and never received a call back. Our most favorite comment from their support staff (Dakota) reads as follows: "Dakota (North Shore Commercial Door Help Center) Jul 3, 10:34 AM EDT Gary, Do me and yourself a favor and read our return policy. " Wow! Thank you, Dakota.

Very disappointed with customer service. Called for getting an explanation about why my overnight shipping was more than two days, I was called "an idiot" by the owner. Called again to ask for respect, and the same guy (male person) told me: "you are such an idiot". My company will never ever place an order with this crap of online sales company. I ordered some bumper springs for my garage door. When they came there was no hardware to install the springs with and no instructions on how to mount them. I sent an email to the company and the following is the response I got.
"Sorry, There is no hardware that comes with these bumper springs.

Sent me the wrong product in the mail. Trying to get it returned and refunded has been a nightmare.
Update: this was a total nightmare. Basically I ordered a Craftsman garage door opener because when I called Craftsman that is what they told me I needed. What I got in the mail was a Lift Master remote. When I contacted North Shore they told me that the listing says Craftsman = Lift Master. What kind of bait and switch is that. You cant list one brand of products and say it is equal to another! What they should be doing is listing the Lift Master remote and in the description state that it is compatible with Craftsman. I had to pay to ship back the wrong item that they sent me. I have never seen another business advertise their product the way they do. Its like if you purchased a Black iphone and they sent you the White one. "well the description says that black = white" you got to be kidding.

"I ordered springs for my door and they sent the wrong ones. Trying to stand behind their no refund clause on springs. I agree with other reviewers and think this is a scam company. The springs they sent are weak garbage compared to the ones that I am trying to replace.
I am posting this complaint on as many complaint sights I can find. I should have checked the complaints on this company and I would have purchased else where!
Great customer service too! I ordered them wrong? Sorry - how about just admit that the wrong ones were sent and give me my money back. I sent you the photos to show you what I wanted and ordered. If YOUR system got it WRONG than correct it. If not I call it a SCAM. Send out crap and stick the customer with it.
These are knock off's of original springs.
There are enough companies to order garage door parts from - just read all the reviews to make the right decision - I wished I did.

Springs appear to be what ordered but have no installed.
Having to manually lift a 200 lb garage door does tend to shorten one's patience especially when nothing about shipping day is received. I don't think the Sellers response was very professional and comments were false about shipping the next day after receiving order.

I ordered the Springs and paid for Monday 30th in the afternoon. Although the Drop Shipping Company out of Dallas now shows shipping information sent on Friday the 3rd and actual shipping on Saturday the 4th. I did not receive any shipping notification until Monday the 6th which was after I placed these reviews. As far as I knew at time of review it had been 7 days with no tracking.
I ordered springs and was told 2 to 3 days to ship. So far it's been a week 7days, and still no shipping information. The company was very fast to accept payment, but seem to very slow on filling the order. If it's due to another company that makes the springs they should change what they put for shipping time on the order page and what they email.
I can't say whether the springs are correct or what I ordered because they have shipped or been received. That will follow later on an update to this review.
I do know that there are many complaints about springs being wrong and not lasting so I hope mine , if ever received , will be better. I know what I ordered is correct so their won't be any, He ordered the wrong thing. I have both a copy of the order and label on my existing springs and they match.
They have even emailed me a review on service to fill out, but just forgot to send the parts.
My next step if shipping notice not received will be PayPal dispute, BBB complaint and a finish to my Yelp Review.

I purchased springs from this company. It broke six months later and said that I use my garage door too much. LOL! Six months of twice a day equals 360 times. So they have their Springs have a life expectancy of 360 uses. Bill Chaflant and Taylor Millar are who I dealt with. Only want to refer to the policy and that they can't take returns on springs. Not to my better judgment, I purchased another set of springs from them for my installer to it installed. Once he started looking at them he realized that they had sent the wrong ones originally and the new ones were the wrong ones as well. You showed me the difference between the set and the new said that he put in and now my garage door works fine, but not thanks to North Shore. Bill and Taylor and them wanting to standby this policy shows how they are some of the most unprofessional customer service people I've ever dealt with in my life.

Sears Craftsman garage door opener powers on but door would not close. After checking out the users manual troubleshooting guide, 5 red flashes, possible bad logic board.
I ordered this logic board after comparison shopping. This was found to be the cheapest. Order placed on 12/12/15 and received USPS on 12/18/15. The logic board received was already mounted on a door that did not fit our door opener. Removed the logic board from the door received and installed it onto the original door. Installation took a matter of minutes and garage door opener working again. I would definitely use this company again.

I had a typo in my mother in-laws address so my product was returned. I was charged a restocking fee and it actually was almost the price of the 3 remotes I ordered. I was disappointed that I was charged that and at the same time had to put another order in for the same product.

After several disappointing attempts and finally with the help of a handyman, we figured out how to program the Firefly clicker. It now works with our community gate, as well as my older Genie 450 garage door opener. The trick was to open the Genie to view the settings and program the Firefly exactly the opposite of the Multi-Code clickers. Like if #1 pin on Genie was up, we set the #1 Firefly to down! You cannot simply match the pins on Firefly to your existing clicker and expect it to work! This has been an issue to the point that our association office no longer sells the two-button Firefly clickers. In my original review, I was so frustrated that I was willing to throw away both new Firefly clickers. Now that they work, I like the size and convenience of having it in my pocket attached to my car key.

The typical "new normal" stuff happened. I ordered off of Amazon, then go a "DELAYED" email due to out-of-stock....UGH. But, it was only for 3 days.
Then, I get the remote, and the instructions don't make sense, but after some time I get it working, but not sure why. So, I email North Shore with a few questions. But, rather than answering my questions about the remote, I get a glad it's working, "enjoy" your remote brush-off.
So, I email again, asking if I could have my questions answered to ensure I won't have any issues since I'm not clear as to why it's working based on not knowing how I truly got it working.
Again, kinda a brush off with no answers. I email again, and finally get answers to my questions. But, at this point my feathers are ruffled.
Holy cow, so much for trying to save time in the "new normal".
The remote is great, the price was great. I just not happy about the sweat equity and brush-off I got from the company.

The shipping was fast but my issue is I ordered 3 garage door opener remotes and a wall pad and I wanted the Overhead Door brand ones. The ones in the pictures for the items I ordered showed Overhead Door on them. I was sent all Genie products. Now I know Genie and Overhead Door products are basically interchangeable but what I got WAS not what I ordered. They mislead me and others. Had I wanted the Genie brand products I could have bought them locally without needing to order online and wait for them.
