Very frustrated....we arrived to find the cabin listed as a charcoal grill was actually gas. The tank was empty. The welcome packet was not at our cabin. The lower level room was mold infested all around the tub.....making my son in law sick. The event tickets are a nightmare to deal with unless you like being on hold for 45 minutes. This was not our first trip but may be our last. Just very disappointed all around.

Over a number of years we have stayed at Natural Retreats Fistral Bay and Trewhiddle. I have nothing negative to say about the standard of the accommodation at either site and for location both sites are excellent. However on our recent stay September 2014 in the Penthouse Fistral Bay we felt the vibe of the block had changed tremendously from luxury holiday to more residential with shoes outside doors, children running about babies crying and washing all over balconies. This wasn't because we are anti family/children as we have four grown up of our own but when you pay a premium for luxury you don't expect to hear birthing plans being discussed over screaming small children. So if you have children either site is good.....however of you are looking for peace tranquillity, romance and luxury go to Trewhiddle as the space between lodges affords you this.
