The yesterday bus was running out of time and the bus arrived at 8.40. ( fort Myles to tampa ) No information or notification has been issued to customers.
When contacted, they said they did not know the time the bus would arrive.. We had to wait an hour..
The toilet inside was in very bad condition..

Decent for the price but there are some serious downfalls. The biggest issue I have with them is I ALWAYS have to pay a $7 up-charge for doing it over the phone because their website is pure garbage (or it's a scam to get people to pay more because you have to eventually call in). I tried several of my valid credit and debit cards and keep getting the same bogus error stating the card information is incorrect. To make matters worse their customer service department, including the supervisor, are extremely incompetent or just plain stupid. I asked them if my megabus site account information needs to match whats on my credit card billing information and they had no idea what I was talking about. The people that get hired here have such a low level of intelligence it's mind blowing. Megabus used to be my "goto" way to get from NY to Boston but now they are my "last resort" travel resource. Now my first choice is Amtrak. It's a few dollars extra but it's worth it.

Waited hours for the bus which never came along with 40 other passengers. Every time we would call customer service they would say they didn't know where the bus was and to call back in 10 min for a possible update. Every 10 min we would get the same response. They said once they located the bus we would all get a text or email. This never happened. 4 hours later another bus came but this bus was full. Customer service said they don't refund.

If I could give negative stars I would. Saw megabus leave a lady down in atlanta that was running to the bus while the door was closing. Tonight as I write this megabus is over an hour late in Richmond. No emails as to why they're late. POOR customer service, not reliable and no one from the company here to make any of us who are there in the freezing cold know what's going on. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE

I received a publicity email this week titled 'We've Missed You!' and it reminded me of the poor service I received from this company, yes they did miss us!
We booked an overnight bus from San Fran to LA, the pick up location was some random side of the road. I was expecting a bus stop in a bus terminal, but luckily there were already other travellers waiting there and we all looked to be getting the same bus. There were no Megabus staff there to check in with or confirm we were in the right place.
At 11pm the bus was due. At 11.20pm we were all very concerned. Many of us tried calling the company but there is no way to speak to anyone. I managed to send them an email, and at 11.40pm we all received an email to advise us our bus would be late and would be arriving approx. 11.20-11.30pm! Lol.
Eventually at 12 midnight the bus turned up. There had been some issue or another. We boarded, got our allocated seats, and slept as well as you can on a bus.
Be wary, and yes, I know you missed us!

The reason I took the Megabus and paid extra for the front window seat from Tampa to Miami was for the so claimed Wifi on board, comfy seat and the nice view.
Unfortunately, the Wifi is broken (no wifi at all for 5+ hours), the bus driver said it has been off for a long time and they never fix it umm hmm, the charging outlets are loose, the seat becomes unconfortable after the first hour, and they don't even bother wiping off the windshield of dead bug juices before the next trip, so the view is obstructed.
Next time I will try a different alternative.

Mega bus is the worst bus to get on. Horrible service. There are no signs to catch the bus from pittsburgh pa so i missed my bus trying to find where i needed to be. After finding the bus stop i was told they changed the location for the week do to pittsburgh events thay week. When calling to reschedule the customer service was horrible. They kept telling me to call back in 15 minutes and never took my information until i called 7 times. Finally i got a representative that knew what she was doing and did not give me the run around. Then when i finally got on the bus the next morning the bus breaks down and it took 2 hrs until another bus came to get us from state college. Cheaper is not better when it comes to mega bus

DO NOT USE MEGABUS! I bought a round-trip overnight ticket from DC to Charlotte travelling August 29th and returning September 3rd. I bought tickets on the top floor. There was no AC on the trip down. Many passengers told the driver and he couldn't care less. It was very hot and at times suffocating. We were an hour and a half delayed. There was no Wifi on the bus. On the trip back the bus arrived half an hour late and left almost an hour late. At the rest stop between Durham and Richmond the bus wouldn't start. The driver said it has lost power and that it'll be 2 hours until either another bus gets here or a mechanic comes.
Use any other form of transportation or any other bus line. Megabus is THE WORST. There's no where on their website to check the status of overnight buses, because at midnight the schedules change to only show future bus trips. There is no contact information on their website. Avoid yourself the pain and waste of time and money. They do not do refunds. They will only send you a coupon for the amount of your ticket to be used on future trips.

My wife purchased bus tickets from NYC to Boston to visit a hospital for her Glioblastoma brain cancer. She was too ill to travel. When she called Megabus to cancel tickets and asked for a refund, the company said no refund. We disputed the decision, but company still denied her refund. We are also contacting advocates from national cancer associations to request assistance to fight Megabus’ corporate policy. We feel cancer patients should not be treated by cold corporations like this and we are determined to build a campaign to force Megabus to have a more compassionate corporate policy towards customers with terminal illnesses. My wife is not able to work due to her cancer, so not getting her money refunded is a big bummer.

Wow this company what a joke. Honestly take the train or get a plane because this company's a joke. There coaches are the worst and I mean the smell 🤮🤮🤮🤮 don't even get me started. I get giving people jobs and people wanting to work but giving them to people who are so rude and disrespectful to customers who pay money what they have earned to use a service that treats them like 💩. I was that disappointed honestly I decided to get my driver's license and get a car 😂😂. If you want to be treated like your life's about to end on a busy motorway weaving in and out of traffic in a plastic box with no air well u got your service. There's no windows and the air conditioning never works so ur guaranteed to catch a bug when u get to your destination. Enjoy the ride sit back and pray my rating for this place 👎👎👎👎👎

I bought my tickets on the 2nd Monday September 2019 to return to Glasgow from Manchester my bus was meant to arrive at 5:15am at Manchester shudehill station and we arrived 30 mins early so we did not miss it, time passed the arrival time, our journey was delayed for 3 hours and as you can imagine it was freezing in the bus station and nothing was open so early in the morning, and I had my new born baby with me freezing had in wrap her in blankets to keep her warm, it is a joke, we was informed after 2 hours of waiting we could get a train and be refunded the train tickets but we couldn't because we had our new born baby and for 3 of us would have been on £200. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE MEGA BUS.

Megabus has terrible customer service from the drivers to the agents at the call center. Customer Service is very important to me and is just as unimportant to Megabus. As a consumer, I am more concerned with how a service is being provided rather than the service itself. Megabus is a cheap mode of transportation that gets you from point A to B. If you get a considerate and respectful driver or a helpful and polite agent on the phone, then you are lucky. Megabus provides their bus ride service at such a cheap price that they are not concerned with hiring quality people to service their customers. If you ride the Megabus, you have noone to blame for your experience but yourself. Pray you don't have to call Customer Service for any reason. They talk over you and disconnect the call as you're speaking once they decide they have answered your questions and concerns. Beware of the Megabus!

I had a terrible trip from Washington DC to Atlanta Georgia June 14th. First of all the outlets on my bus did not work and the WiFi was non existent. Also there was a loud belligerent rider on the bus that could not remain quiet. Megabus has changed since I fist rode it the bus drivers don’t even accommodate us riders anymore. Mega bus was a clean, comfortable, convenient and inexpensive way for me to travel between Atlanta and Mobile. It takes a little longer than driving it yourself, due to the necessary stops, but is a fantastic value.

I love Megabus! I can hardly believe how inexpensive it is to get back and forth from LA to Las Vegas to help my elderly mom. So far, the trips have always been on time and comfortable. Bring a blanket, eye shade, ear plugs and neck pillow and get 5 hours of rest while Megabus does the driving!
