Everything is fine. We've had no problems. The one time I did
use it somebody was at the house in 10 minutes. We haven't had cause to use it yet here. We've had it for quite some time just at a different location. We just put it at this address fairly recently.

I have seen many commercials about elderly people falling and couldn't get up. My dad suddenly became one of these elderly folks after being traumatized by a fall. I started by calling several companies not realizing there were several that had a system. I got a customer service sales lady that was very helpful. The one special selling point was the range, which worked all around the house and yard. So far so good. Dad and I feel safer and at ease now.

So far the ordering of the Life Alert button has been smooth as silk. They were quite professional on the phone, sent a confirming email immediately, I got the equipment on the timing they said, installed same, ran the test to see if it worked and it did. No hassles. This is our first day of using it.

I wish I didn't have to have this but I promised my friends I would do this for their peace of mind. I found the equipment a bit unwieldy. Have only one place in my home where I have the proper connections available. It would be nice if they weren't so large. They are supposed to be where you can talk to the operator if you push the button but this is in a room that I don't use so hope that silence will get their attention. Was happy with the discount for paying a full year at once. And the folks I've dealt with on the phone have been very helpful.

So far, I have had no crisis or emergency situation. And quite frankly I have not tested the system or my use of the system as much or as often as I should have. But it has been there, working as I expected every time I have tested it.

We brought the unit for mom caused she's up in age now, we reserached many care alert systems, Her doctor reckmended medical care alert as one of the best, So we went with it. The set up was easy, the techs were very knowledgeable, and help full. Acouple of weeks after she got the unit, she accidentley bumped it while doing dishs. A tech notifed her within secounds, ask her if she was ok, and if she needed medical help. She was so suprised at this, Now she feels safe haveing this with her 24-7. Thanks Med Alert.

My siblings and I bought the Alert system for our mother for our own peace of mind. My mother is very conservative and would never have purchased it for herself even though she lives alone. I tested it myself in and around the house when we got it and was very pleased in its coverage. Medical Alert regularly check to see it is operational and recently replaced the entire system because they were not satisfied with its performance. We did not detect any problems at all. The system does what we wanted in that we know our mother will be able to get any needed assistance should she need it by pushing a button on her necklace.

After researching the different options available for home monitored alert care, and reviewing ALL the reviews on Angie's List, I contacted Medical Care Alert back in September of 2013. They were able to help me find the perfect equipment to help with my grandmother's care. Their customer's service is the best that I have ever experienced! They treat you like you are one of their own family members. I have spoken to a few of them since we first started using the service. Each one of their employees have been overwhelmingly helpful, respectful, and attentive to all of my needs and have been more than willing to take all the time necessary to answer any and all questions until I felt 150% comfortable using the equipment. Their follow-up customer service is just as amazing. When my grandmother lost her pendant, we did have to pay for a new one. However, they said that as soon as we located the other one we could send the new pendant back and receive a full refund. This was very comforting knowing that my grandmother would still have the ability to use the system and we could send the new pendant back. Almost like loaning us the equipment until we were able to locate the old equipment. We did locate the old pendant, but decided to keep the new one as well, just in case we encountered the same situation again in the future. Since initiating service with this company, we have had to use it when my grandmother fell out of bed and was unable to get herself back up again. Once she pressed the call button, the response team was on the line within seconds, helped her to remain calm and let her know that they would be contacting me immediately. And that is exactly what they did. They made sure they were calm and helped me feel reassured when making me aware of the situation. I would recommend Medical Care Alert to any family wanting to make sure their loved ones are taken care of and able to get the help they need in case of an emergency. And since you pay a flat fee, it makes it where my grandmother can get ahold of me at any time, in case she can't find the phone. ;) It is a wonderful and easy way to ensure peace of mind. I am completely satisfied with the service that Medical Care Alert had provided and have not second guessed my decision once! Definitely an A+ in my book (and I'm extremely hard to please, lol)!
