Absolutely rubbish, phoning to retrieve your money , put through to South Africa!
Kept ok the phone for long periods of time then cut off.
I owed marisota £4:12 , £412:00 was paid in to marisota ..... I have tried numerous times to get my money back , three weeks later I am still waiting !!!
Would I use this company again NO I would not.
Not based in the UK, no way of getting through to them complete joke.

A few clothing orders came through fine but my bug bear is the non functional laptop I purchased for £200. Returned the item on 12th September after about 10 emails found out my return had not been accepted due to laptop having a pin on windows 10 and they are returning it. If I get it on 10th oct that's a full month with still no refund or replacement.do not use for Christmas gifts as you will be disappointed if you need it returned.

So frustrating! I bought 4 pairs of shoes in the sale and paid for nominated day delivery. The shoes didn’t arrive. A week later the shoes still didn’t arrive. Several calls and emails later Marisota said Hermes had mislaid the parcel, so they cancelled the order and raised another one with the promise the shoes would arrive next day. They did... but at the wrong address! I listed for them to be delivered to London not my billing address. Not only that, they also charged me 25% more than my first order as the items were no longer in the sale. I can’t get much common sense from their helpline (the chap told me he is based in S Africa) just plenty of “sorry madam that’s our policy”. Can’t deal with it any more, won’t be buying from them again!

I'm so annoyed I didn't come here before purchasing. I usually do! But because it professes to be a subsidiary of JD Williams, I stupidly trusted it.
Ordered a set of suitcases, which arrived faulty. I returned them, but liked the design so much I reordered them. A week later, no update on my account to say the returned items had been received. I called to say why isn't it updated, and WHY, given the item was faulty, can I not get my money back. They say I need to wait a FURTHER week for it to register at the warehouse, before I can get my money back. I already know there'll be some other excuse after its reached that point.
Disgusting. Shady. Takes your money, but will not refund.

Sent for bra returned it immediately.
Sent for another two for £26
They don’t use PayPal so I posted a cheque for £26
They send me a bill for the two lots. I sent a copy of the cheque this went on, very upsetting.
Today I get a bill for £22.79. I phoned. They say
I had to pay for postage then a fine for late payment, then interest so the bras cost me £48.79. This is a rip off. I do not pay a minimum payment I pay in full, the reason it would be late was because of all this going back and forth.
I will never buy anything else from this JD WILLIAMS or MARISOTA they are the same

Avoid, bought a parasol that was supposed to turn up next day. arrived over a week later, when it finally did arrive it was missing the bolts to put it together. Customer service, who were like robots, said they don't stock the bolts so i'd have to return and re-order. Shambles.

Placed order was told they would contact me re delivery. Phoned chasing up and told there was no order, my bank confirmed payment had been authorised. They had set up a credit account I didn't want and the order was on that. When I cancelled I was told I would have to wait up to 5 days for my money back, even though I pointed out that my bank said if they called with auth number, they could credit my account immediately. Was told it wasn't possible so I have to wait to see if when my refund comes. I will definitely not be using again

Worst experience I've encountered with an online retailer. I ordered a lamp and as a new cusotmer I thought I would benefit from the 20% discount and free delivery offered. The discount was not applied at the checkout and I subsequently discovered the difference is credited to my bank account sometime later, (something I find odd). I ordered a lamp but on arrival it was damaged when I opened the box so arranged a collection. I then ordered what I expected to be another lamp in the meantime and that arrived quickly, however this time they sent me a coffee machine. I've given up now and will settle for a refund and purchase the item elsewhere.

Ordered the same dress three times as continuously faulty. Customer services did not send replacement when they said they would as was relying on dress for holiday. Third dress finally came the day of travelling but upon wearing on holiday it was faulty again!! Completely ruined my very prestigious event leaving me very upset and distressed, and no recompense even offered. Called company many times to make official complaint and was told their complaints manager Louise Ward would call. Two weeks and three complaints later I have still yet to hear from her despite customer services telling me she would ring in 10 minutes and another the following week saying she would definitely call within 24 hours, still waiting........customer service absolutely unacceptable, was going to order more from them as I really do like their clothes, but I think it would be unwise until a resolution is made.

What a nightmare company to deal with.
I went online am of 13/05/19, opened an account and purchased an item asking for next day delivery.
3 days later 15/05/19, I checked and it was still processing. I did a refresh and then noticed that my order had been cancelled ?
I contacted them (not on their premium number) and asked the reason why. It was because they would not deliver to a 3rd party address (billing and delivery have to be the same). Not bad if you work all day ?.
I then contacted them again and spoke to Sean, who took my card details, billing address etc and said he would sort it. I informed them that I wanted delivery to my work address - no problem.
1) I was charged an additional £3.99 from my initial order.
2) The online order status was fine, delivery to work address, and
3) the confirmation email came through and billing and delivery were the same.
When I contacted them again to query why the delivery address had not been changed on the email confirmation, I was informed by Lorraine that they could not change this because of the system. They had to cancel the order and redo it ??
She also informed me that she could not track Sean because over 600 people work there. (she read all the notes out correctly, but they did not know who entered the notes - poor tracking for a company this size)
I then asked to speak to a supervisor, and I got a call back from Aaron who almost repeated what Lorraine had said - they could not change the delivery address and would have to cancel the order and redo it ?? (bearing in mind, payment had already come off - refunds take an eternity ?)
When I asked if the couriers would change the delivery address if requested, I was told that they may not be able to do this and that I may need Marisota confirmation. This could not be done as they had no way of contacting the couriers.
I am now waiting for a call from the couriers to see if they can change delivery address OR i have to take a day of work to wait for it.
For an organisation of this size, I would have thought they would have better tracking and shipping methods, and also better means of having a more customer friendly attitude and service.
Buyers beware what you are dealing with. I think I have found the RyanAir of retail. . . .
15/05/19 - first order cancelled and second one done online.
16/05/19 - received an email stating card had been declined. This was Marisota reason for cancelling first order. Sufficient funds in CC. (billing and delivery address not same)
16/06/19 - contacted them to establish if new order still on its way, only to be told that I should reveive item by this time next week ?? THIS IS A NEXT DAY DELIVERY ??

Never ever have I experienced a situation like this !!! Placed an order for £165.00 .I had already created an account and had a confirmation e.mail .I did not want credit just to pay outright ,I did this and was then told that my card had been declined ----- I nearly had a heart attack. They requested another card ( here is where "I smelled a RAT". I immediatley contacted B Card to check the problem with my card NONE.and the payment was showing !!! I rang Marisota and got a lot of bull about hours and maybe days ,the bottom line when I " lost ! it was that no order was showing .!! So I was being asked to pay £165.00 twice for nothing .BEWARE>

I made a first purchase that would allow me a 20% discount at checkout. Thinking this was a good deal I went through the payment process - NO DISCOUNT. Tried to immediately cancel per their instructions. Two days later informed via email that they would attempt to cancel my order assuming it has not been shipped. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

The customer service is non-existent. I thought it would be a good deal to get 20% off the first order which they used in their advertising and still do. There was no way to get a discount.
I phoned and somebody said they would get back to me. I'm still waiting - it's been 4 weeks.
I emailed 'complaints' - my email went through - nothing.
This is misleading advertising.
Thank goodness I stopped my order just in time.

Be careful as often you put discounted items in your basket and then when you come to check out they have applied full price This has happened 3 times to me each time I was asked to supply proof of the discounted price which luckily I had screen shot .
Then there's the APR on any credit you take out of over 58% that's right 58% . 20% more than their sister company. I think this is probably some sort of "fat tax" which is
shameful . Taking my business elsewhere

These previous reviews in no way reflect my experience with Marisota. I have used them for a number of years, and have never had any problems. My orders usually arrive the next day, and on the two occasions that I have returned items, my money has been refunded promptly. I am happy with the quality of the items I have purchased and will continue to use this website with confidence. In all honesty, I believe that only disgruntled customers will take the time to write a (negative) review, while those who are pleased with the service don't think of taking the time to do so.

After reading the reviews online for Marisota and JD Williams, I’m having to really reconsider shopping with them; my intention was to spend well over £700 on a new sofa. The 63 per cent of ‘one-star’ reviews are probably a good indicator that something is seriously wrong with this company, it should be a genuine concern for everyone. Such a shame as the sofa looks perfect, and reasonably priced.

WOrdered 2 bras on 5th July paid by CCard immediately. Did not open an account. (Thank goodness!) received email confirmation due to be delivered on 7th. Hermes sent info delayed 48 hrs. Rang Marisota on 10th. Customer services contacted Hermes who did not explain the delay but said they would send an cexplanation in another 48 hours. I think they should use another delivery firm. Will not deal with Marisota again because they put false info about delivery times. Wish I could give no stars, but at least the complaints chap was polite. Aaron was his name.

Shoes failed to arrive, despite being told repeatedly they were ready for collection in Hermes collection point.
Telephoned Marisota, who basically told me they could send another pair if I paid AGAIN!!! The woman I spoke to, just kept saying that she was sorry but as I was cash buyer, it was their policy...
Do not use them, as they don't give a fig about their customers!!!!

Have had several orders from this catalogue and fashion world but all I seem to do is send back faulty items constantly and reorder hoping that it will be ok this time, once I got sent the same bag 3 times and every time there was damage, have sent several emails with pictures of the items ie yesterday I got a Pom Pom t shirt and there was no seam it had been split why so weird not at all like the pictures and the sizing of the tops are way off as soon as I’ve paid my account off I’m cancelling everything sick of all the returns and reordering and the emails they don’t answer although they send me emails saying sorry but here’s 15% off your next order what’s the point when there constantly doing 20% off. Biggest problem is the faulty items far too many you’d think I was ordering from cheap Chinese site instead of a supposedly reliable website catalogue
