Disappointing experience. No information about the exhibits, which are seeped in history. Just some QR-codes, which is an obsolete technology and nobody goes around with QR-scanning apps in their smartphones. There is no advance information or warning, either in the web page or the museum about QR-codes, so that one can come armed with these apps. In any case even if you had the QR-app installed the lightning is so poor, that you do not get any benefit, just additional frustration. There might be reasons for the low lightning, in which case an audioguide would be a more apt solution, than QR-codes and booklets.
The present set up is far from a museum, it is more just a storeroom, and the storeroom happens to be a castle, with may valuable exhibits with many stories and much history embedded in them. Why don't you unleash these and make it available to the paying visitors?
New thinking seems to be in short supply. Hoping for better experience in the future.
