I ordered many times from just eat and it has always been kinda slow, one time it was quick and it surprised me. I ordered food and 2 hours I was waiting despite a chat with just-eat and calling the restaurant. I was in a chat with someone from just-eat and they said I'd get credit as I paid cash. I never got the credit. I wrote a review of my order detailing how it was just-eats fault and they deleted the comment but left the review as I doubt the restaurant did as I said the food was good and they weren't to blame. Terrible company, worse customer service

Terrible customer service, they lie to your face and also try keep your money without actually deliveringypur food, most of the time one delivery guy will be delivering 5 other deliveries so by the time he gets to you, if he gets to you that is your food will be cold , i would most definitely not recommend you leave your dinner in the hands of just eat they will ruin your eveing , your appetite and your mood.

I NEVER GOT MY ORDERS. THEYVLIED SAYING THE DELIVERY GUY WAS ON THE WAY BUT HE NEVER NEVER SHOWED UP WITH MY ORDER. I WAITED 2 HOURS TO BE TOLD HE WAS COMING BUT HE NEVER CAME. WILL LEAVE JUST EAT FOR GOOD.

appalling customer service. Just Eat never sent a driver to pick up my order, so I never received it. I got onto customer service on the chat that evening and was told by their agent that I would be issued a refund and credit...neither of which appeared in the following days. I recontacted customer service and it turns out the initial agent didn't do anything, so then the refund was (apparently -- still waiting) issued and I was given a credit code and a discount code -- neither of which are recognised as valid numbers on Just Eat. Get it together, guys. You're being pushed out of the market due to much better delivery service elsewhere, there's no scope for this kind of rubbish.

Locked me out of my account. Had a horrible time trying to sign in/verify my account then when I did, had an awful experience while ordering. Order we so late and the app is poor compared to desktop version. Think I’ll stick to Marvin from now on.

Absolute joke of a company, hard to see how they're still in business. Often have long waiting periods but ordered tonight (Monday) and was left waiting two hours for cold food. Zero accountability. Not sure who's responsible, driver, restaurant, JustEat. Tried calling the restaurant, turned out to be some bloke with an 083 mobile, no answer obviously. For the first time I used chat services after years of tolerating unreliable service. Agent offered a 20% discount for the waiting time, discount didn't arrive. Agent offered to call the restaurant to arrange a refund and ended the chat. Never heard back from JustEat. Disgrace to pay for food and have it arrive cold and ruined, what's the point in using JustEat if they can't sort this stuff out for you. No idea if they even vet the restaurants, why don't they ensure the restaurants have landlines and contact info. Where is the help in referring complaints when you need to make one. JustEat do not have a customer focused service, clearly no interest in quality assurance or delivery standards. Doubt they know anything about their restaurants, audit them, or have mystery shoppers test them. I make this assumption based on how difficult it is to get a refund when you're left waiting two hours for cold food from a restaurant that has no contact info. JustEat clearly want to maximise the number of restaurants on the site without putting in any effort to make sure their is a minimum standard or waiting period. Customer service is a joke because they can't do anything for you and so many comments here confirming agents end the chat without offering a resolution. JustEat charge up front and you're left with nothing at the end of a bad experience no matter how loyal a customer you may be, for me that was the most disappointing bit cause every now and again you'll have a bad experience but its how you manage those moments and JustEat is a flat let down when it comes to how they respond.

Half of these reviews are targeted at specific restaurant faults and not Just-eat themselves
This is the review page for the service provider, not the restaurant you ordered a kebab from a few nights ago using the service.
Now to actually review the service,
Just-Eat is great, over the years I've alotted 200+ orders from tens of restaurants and yet to ever find an issue with the service itself- The restaurants themselves can't be spoken for but never has Just-eat been the issue.
I've only had one exact instance of a restaurant being incorrectly labelled as open and my money was instantly refunded after they investigated and I was given a 5 Euro voucher for my next order within the hour.
I will probably end up choosing another service over just-eat just due to the quality of life choices but that doesn't discount that just-eat is a top-notch service!

I ordered food at 16:23 exactly on the just eat app. I called the restaurant to confirm my order was received. 50 Minutes later i got an email to say my order had been cancelled because apparently Railway Street is too dangerous. When I called Just Eat, it took a few minutes to actually be able to talk to someone. Here is the story i was given:
Just eat use a third party service apparently to deliver their food. This 3rd party claims that they cant deliver to my area due to being apparently having had drivers attacked. What I don't understand is how it could take 50 minutes to realise that my order is to be delivered to railway street (which is about a 10 minute walk from the restaurant)
at that point i was offered a refund (as expected) and a discount code. I don't think a discount is really what i9m looking for. I think that this service is unacceptable. I am paying for a service and I think how i was treated was absolutely acceptable.

Delivery was over the time alloted and I got a poor attitude from the agent I got into contact with.
I then made a formal complaint which was upheld signed off with "I'm sorry for the service you think you got".

I just ordered food from the Ocean in Marino Dublin 3. When the food arrived extremely cold ,curry sauce was like jelly, chicken particularly cold and i didnt fancy getting food poisoning so when I called to see if anything could be done the staff on the phone said she didint believe that the food was cold basically calling me a LIAR?? and started shouting at the phone saying what do I expect the delivery location too was to fair from the take away premises????????? excuse me if you can't deliver food to certain addresses what would u advertise that you deliver in that particular location? Shocking customer service and no manners... Never in a life time I will be ordering again from this place and I will never recommend this takeaway for anyone. Just eat in other hand was very helpful and gave me my refund back. Take my advice avoid this place..

Ordered off Justeat.ie and there was a hair in my food. The "beef" was not beef, and the chicken was slimy and also questionable as to where/what it came from.
When I relayed my complaint to the customer service team I was met with hostility and arrogance.They advised that the food supplied on their website was not their responsibility, and that I would have to register my complaint with the IFSA. I pushed back as I was their customer and not interested in registering a complaint, I simply wanted a simple refund for the food I paid for that I could not eat.
I eventually got a refund for the dish that had human hair in it, but they have still refused to tell me where the "beef" was sourced, and when I questioned what they would offer for the fact the I was left with no edible food, and hungry that evening, they replied that the restaurant had refunded the chicken dish as a "gesture of goodwill".
They clearly take no responsibility for the restaurants on their website as there was no offer of a refund on the other dish (that tasted like fish when it was supposed to be beef); the driver fee; or even a courteous voucher to apologise for the inconvenience.
Absolutely socking service from a reputable company. They clearly need to vet their suppliers more, and brush up on their customer service.
Still have not reached a resolution and they are now not responding to my emails.

You usually find out what a company are really like when something goes wrong with an order. This is a great example.
My delivery was very late, the restaurant wouldn't answer the phone when I called to chase, so I tried Just-Eat live help.
If the definition of 'Live Help' is using outsourced, generic customer service people reading from a script who can give you no help or any meaningful information other than stock answers like "the restaurant must be really busy', and take no responsibility for my order despite handling my payment and taking a hefty % of the order valaue from the restaurant, then I guess it's good service. Useless.
I've used you over 100+ times, and won't bother any more.
