And after 4 days "processing not yet mailed" they refused to cancel the order. I will never shop here again, the prices are stupid high and they have subrate products. Fabric dot com is much better and can ship my stuff like i am not in china. Two weeks for an order to arrive is unacceptable. So no more of this store EVER.

The one I go to has very knowledgeable people and, for the most part, everyone seems happy to help. I've never had issues with curbside pickup. I will say pictures of the fabric online can be misleading with the color and size, and their inventory system is wonky, but I'm surprised to see so much hate here. I will always support Joanns, they are introducing pronoun stickers for their employees and they have great deals on remnants. They are pretty progressive, especially compared to Hobby Lobby. They also have tattoo based fabrics and a fabric that depicts heavier set women in a positive, attractive light.

My wife had a horrible time with this company. She ordered a sewing machine. And then never heard back from them for many days. She never could find anyone to take to. I got involved and found out that the sewing machine was not in stock... they held on to her money for more than a week before the finally gave in and reimbursed her the money she paid. Shabby business. I would not recommend this company for any reason. Buyer beware. I wish there was a way to give a negative star review.

I called customer service to inquire why my flier's online promo code said it wasn't valid even though the date and Online requirement was correct. They gave me a completely different and apparantely secret code which went through, but did not take anything off my total. I was then told to complete the purchase at regular price, then call them back for a refund for the difference. Why are they posting invalid codes and expecting we would trust them to issue a refund after we pay full price? Something is very fishy with this company. Their online service is no better than in store and that is worse than anywhere I have ever shopped. Constant waiting with a skeleton crew to handle customers. The employees seem to be trying. This is a corporate problem. C'mon Joann... get it together!

I made a purchase for $241 not only did they not have my complete order but they charge me another $182 for a partial order but kept the $241 hold on my account which basically made a total hold/withdraw of $423 out of my account. Which lead to bounced checks and over draft fees just the biggest headache ever. I had to jump through hoops to get stuff straightened out at my bank all because of Joann fabrics.

Beware, when you order online with a debit card, they will charge you twice. One is for the authorization and the other is the actual charge. So if you order $75.00 worth, $150.00 is out of your account for 5 days. They don't credit the authorization until your items have been delivered. I haven't noticed any other company doing this. I'm going to use a gift card from now on.

Went into my go-to fabric store for past 6+ years. Brought in my Husqvarna sewing and embroidery machine for service. Machine was in its original box. Young white clerk started following us around the store as we shopped. Then came up to me and RUDELY insinuated I was trying to steal a whole sewing machine. Its so large the box took up the entire shopping cart. Have spent thousands of dollars every year for past 6+ years at this store... and loved Joann Fabric for more than 20 years. Will NEVER shop at this chain ever again!

Wish zero stars is an option. I ordered a gift for Christmas November 28 to ensure it would arrive in time. I emailed them to inquire the status of my order and continued to monitor yet I never received any emails. I finally got ahold of someone today less than a week before Christmas and all they tell me was my order was cancelled. I never received an email, explanation, nothing! They tried giving me a $20 gift card to make up but it does not help when the item was $200 and out of stock everywhere now! RUINED THIS GIFT!

I'm a fashion designer and since Hancock's closed, Joann is the only store left. I prefer to see fabrics in person to match them, but since the pandemic began, I've been forced to order online. I constantly get wrong orders, canceled orders, overcharged, and generally ripped off by Joann. Since I spend several hundred dollars there each month, you'd think they would treat me like a valued customer, but that is not the case. If I could give them 0 stars I would. They are the worst.

Bought a table $192 from Joanns on 10-31-2020. Contacted them 11-4-2020 to cancel order as it hadn't shipped yet. Was told I could refuse shipment and I would get my refund. So as soon as it shipped I contacted FedEx to immediately ship back to sender. They received 11-6-2020. It has been 14 days and numerous emails and all I am getting is the run around. No refund, nothing but my emails will be forwarded. Poor customer service during a pandemic.

Don't do it! If your order is short you are still charged the full amount. When you pick up the order they will charge you again the correct amount!
I went to the store to get it corrected. Spoke with the manager. You have to contact their corporate site. 1-888-739-4120 was the number on my card charges.
Disconnects after you listen an reject additional offers.
It's sad that the only fabric store in town is Joanns.
Currently out $45.00.
Dispute through the bank.
What a racket!

So look, I have enjoyed being a customer of JoAnn since I was 16 when I got my first job however, they are going down especially the online customer service. On line, they force you to buy 2 yds. Of the fabric you want when all you need is 1. What's wrong the cutter can't cut 1 like they can 2? I understand that your should include 1 yd. Pieces with a minimum of 2 yds. For your entire order! This to me sucks and is definitely not catering to the customers that keep them in business.

My wife and have spent hours on the phone with customer service at Joanns Fabrics. Each time we called about an on-line ordering website problem we got a different answer. Out of frustration, I asked the supervisor to escalate my call to a higher level I was told rather coldly that was not possible. They promised to look into our problem and get back with us as soon as possible. Nothing ever happened. My honest impression is this company cares little for its customers. Needless to say we've had enough!

If I could give a zero I would. I ordered a cricut air 2 bundle for 352 dollars. I got a cricut joy in the mail. They told me I would have to reorder the cricut air 2 bundle and that it may be awhile for them to send me a label to ship the cricut joy back. They then proceeded to say you can email us after you place the new order and we can make any price adjustments necessary. They should have sent me out the correct order and waited on the wrong order to come back instead of me ordering another product while waiting for my incorrect order to be returned to them. Will never shop Jo-Ann online again.

Joann Fabrics has a large collection of insulting Alexander Henry art cotton prints. Women dressed in skimpy clothing and suggestive poses perhaps from the 1940s(?). I am not a prude, I am an artist myself, but how do you explain such images while shopping for mask fabric with a 10 year granddaughter? That this is how women were portrayed in the past? Apparently not. Wake up Joann Fabrics, you are insulting your customers!

One of my orders I placed in July 30 is still not here and it's 9/22/2020. Kind of annoyed! I contacted if I can get an update but they always respond with them same thing "let me ask the vendor for the status" I honestly just want a refund at this point but when I emailed them that the completely ignored that and just responded. Let me check the status with the vendor for the millionth time already

I ordered 4 yards of a large print fabric, and Joann shipped it in multiple pieces without giving me the option of cancelling the order in advance or giving me return options after the fact. This limits what I can use it for. They also censored my review where I alerted others to this practice.

Joann's online is awful! Someone sent me a gift card that was only for online orders. Everything about it is terrible! I will never use them again.

They keep cancelling orders without explanation, but they put through the authorization with your bank account to take the money. Not sure why they offer online ordering if they can't handle it.

Ordered fabric that was on sale - minimum order was 2 yards - we ordered about 20 different colors at 2 yds each ........... computer accepted the order just fine - then it started after 3 days - the "ooops...not in stock" emails started - now it looks like we are going to get a total of 7 different 2 yard shipments - and lo and behold - there is a minor shipping charge for each one. If you want to compete with the Amazons ans On-lIne Walmart ordering - ya' all better step up your game, As it stand now, you don't have a chance - we will NEVER do business with you again - either on line or in store - very disappointed to say the least.

I have done two different online order. The first one order wrong product. My fault. When I returned item at store not only did I loose $8 due to it being on sale in the last week but then I got the return on a gift card since it was an online order. Frustrating and waste of time. Then I did another three weeks ago. Charged twice once the day of then again when I picked up. Was told I had to email to get the first one refunded. Call was told 7 to 10 business days the return should be in my account. That was three weeks ago. Customer service has really gone down hill. Over the past 10 years. No compentaion offered for the troubles. Not even an apology. I am very upset at this entire situation. I will never shop Joann's online again. I have told all my neighbors and we are all shopping hobby lobby instead now. Congratulation Joann's you have lost lots of customers and more are leaving too.

BUYER BEWARE, Don't buy anything online from Jo-Ann, After repeated Emails from Joann's offering a 3D Printer on sale, I finally bought one and some printer filament for it. The filament was shipped in 2 days, but
the Status on the order for the printer said in Process, a month later and several Emails to the support (support what a joke) email, they finally tell me that the Printer is Not in Stock. Why would they advertise and send me Emails to buy the thing, AND what a month to say is out of stock if they don't have it.
To make it worse, it seems they are not going to sell this printer any more.
