Was looking for a teacup pug, found their website filled a form and started a series of emails and texts to get info about the puppy and how to transfer the money and everything she said to pay half up front and half after receiving the puppy. Amount was 450.00$ plus 110.00$ shipping
Sent 280.00$ via MoneyGram as requested, received a message the next day in the morning that she received the money and on her way to the airport to ship it. Then she texted me saying she can’t find a flight cause it’s a weekend. Later in the day I received a phone call and a text from a very thick accent guy stating that it’s a moving company named American movers and they will send the puppy the next day in the morning
The next day tried to call both of them and text many times then after like 3 hours I received a text message from the moving company asking to check my email regarding pet insurance
Checked my email and they asked for 850$ insurance to be able to ship the puppy
I went back to the guy and told him that I will not pay anything he said I have to otherwise he wouldn’t be able to send the puppy I responded I don’t want the puppy and will report you and the seller to the police
And also texted the seller letting her know that I need my money and I don’t want the puppy as she never mentioned anything about the insurance.
And of course non of them responded. So I called the police department and reported it of course I lost my money but wanted to warn people so they wouldn’t be victims for those people.
Police officer said they probably not even in the states.
