Don't waste your money at the Aston facility. I've been only here for 9 months and my rent already increased. It is a high-dollar facility. These people are nice at first to get you into a unit after that they drop off their customer service skills. Last month I was locked out of my unit after paying the bill. They costed me money because of quipment that was in there to do my job. They acted like it wasn't their problem. But I had to pay for their mistake. They didn't offer anything off the rent for their mistake. All they did was treated me rudely. The property manager and the district manager need work on their customer service. Especially the district manager. She comes off as a wiseass. Also the unit that I rent when it rains you stand in a puddle of water to get to it. They should be taking some of their greed money and fixing the roads in there so you're not standing in water. So if you want to be taken advantage of then rent here. But this is your warning don't waste your money

Dear Future Potential Customer,
If you value your storage items like we do as a current customer, DO NOT STORE THEM AT THIS LOCATION AT 5110 Hillsdale Circle, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762. They have had several break-in's and all the units are not secure with a proper cover at the top of the units. They have them all covered with a net that is easily removed, and this facility does not have proper security or coverage. Yes, it becomes your problem and your loss. On top of it, they keep raising our rates every year!!! The location is fairly remote so no wonder theft is easy! Yes, we will be moving to a place that can really secure the units and not have open tops for anyone to climb above and drop right in. DO NOT TRUST YOUR ITEMS TO THIS COMPANY WITH THIS TYPE OF LAYOUT.

I have a storage unit and mail that comes to IStorage Moreno Valley. I had an IPhone 6 delivered and they lost it. I filed a claim with the USPS package number and delivery scan stating that it was delivered to that address. They had an employee that stated they filed the claim and come to find out it never was. So all the stories and lies were a cover up and I suspect that that employee stole it. She even stated that she reviewed the tape and saw the mailman deliver something. Lie after lie she told until she got terminated for reasons unknown. I suspect lying. Now the phone company and the Postal service says it was delivered and where it is delivered too should be responsible for the loss or theft of their clients property. I agree except IStorage says let the government pay for it they scanned the package (GPS) and didn't get a signature. How unpatriotic can you be. That scan gave the the Longitude and Latitude of where that package was delivered and is better than a signature. Oh I forgot I also pay insurance for the storage. If you file a claim for a loss they will play stupid and deny liability. You can't afford to loose your valuables to a company that does not accept responsibilities. Don't Do Business with IStorage.

We rented a unit and were told that we HAD to rent by the same day we called, which was Saturday, or we'd lose the discount. So we ran down there to rent it. It has a gate which is active and closed during the facilities non office hours. There was some question as to whether the key code we were given would work or not. The person compiling the application wasn't sure which computer to use, if the computer would work, or even if the printer would work. We paid for the unit and were told by the manager he wouldn't answer his phone on the weekend. On Friday we returned with a frind, who drove her truck 40 miles ton help us get our items to storage. We tried our key code and it didn't work. Luckily the man who lives on the facility let us in. We called the local police and they told us they don't have a code in their files. So if there's ever since fire there, and the man who lives at the property isn't there, all your items will burn to the ground. We attempted to call the manager and he never returned our 7 phone calls that night, nor did he the next day either. We returned the next day to complain, and he told us, "OH well, that happens. You're not the first it's happened to. Not sure when it will be fixed. What else can I do for you?" Ummm, quit?

I was out of town and missed my payment date because of my credit card being compromised and bank stopped my card. By the time I figured out the card had a issue the payment was only a few days late and they charged me $75.00 for both storage unit I had. I have been a customer for 11 years and have multiple storage units. No other storage facility charges this much for late fee's. They refuse to work with me at all with the late fee's. I was very disappointed with their customer service during this situation. I don't recommend istorage to others.

I made a payment after office hours (early due to holiday) on July 4th. This payment was not accepted and I was charged a late fee due to company policy of there being no one to accept it. Why have the drop box fir payment after hours if is not acceptable to pay that way and have it accepted?

Prices have increased over 30% since the new company took over. I had to take off work and spent half a day there because someone smashed the door to my unit and received nothing but a belligerent phone call from the manager who can't be reached without going to through the front office staff.
Overall, I find that the place is not worth half what they charge. My next free weekend, I'm out.
