I've been reading and recommending the content of the Interview Success newsletter for several years now for its practical applicability for those feeling overwhelmed about finding their way in navigating their career options and plain old just finding a job after years in the same one and then finding themselves having to re-enter the job market to try to find something 'new'.
I have been working with Government as an analyst for 5 years now, since I moved back home here to Ontario 5 years ago, leaving Northern Canada after having spent 5 years there and 17 years in B.C. prior to that. I started working for the Government here in Ontario as a Casual employee at 43 years old which meant constantly looking for work as Casuals can work only 90 business days per calendar in any one Department per calendar year. So for 3 & 1/2 years I worked between 3 different departments, rotating back when and where I could year after year. At year 3 & 1/2, I finally landed a 'term' position with sick days, paid holiday time and health benefits for a 2-year term. While I was a term, I landed an indeterminate (permanent), full-time position and 6 months after that, landed a full-time, permanent position in a place where my skills fit the work better and the team and culture of the work place suit me better as well.
I attribute a good amount of the job search and interviewing skills I've learned over the years to the content of the Interview Success Formula program material.

No matter your age or career experience, ISF is an amazing business run by an entrepreneur who really cares about your situation! His professional team are always available and actually contact you--like a real person! Nothing automated. The online tests that you do to generate your profile are so easy and so helpful, you will wonder how you used to job search and interview before you found ISF! I found them by accident. I am 55 years old and have been a stay at home mom for 22 years. I had a long career path, including being an entrepreneur of two retail stores by the age of 22, working as a writer and account manager at a marketing firm, freelance copywriter in advertising, a production manager of several magazines at a small publishing firm and, finally, starting a side business to book musicians at local festivals and bars. But, that was then...and this is now. And now, my career path is focused on helping others as a 911 Dispatcher. So I am back in the saddle again interviewing and with ISF, it has been a breeze! I hope you take the leap and receive the value that ISF and Alan and his team are offering you! Good luck!!

For a very reasonable investment, the Interview Success Formula package provides a wealth of preparation information and tools to the job seeker. The webinars from Alan and his partners are very useful, and the topics are right on target for me (interviewing as an over-age-50 candidate, for example).

After nearly a year of unemployment, I got a job. As someone who just turned 64 and doesn't plan to retire anytime soon, I am very pleased. I won over 2 men who are likely at least 20 years younger than me.
Your initial tools to do an analysis of personality to lead with and the suggested answers to common questions were indispensable.
Suggestions on how to handle the obvious fact that I am over 40 were very useful. I start very soon. What's the best is that after years of driving into Des Moines, IA, is that the job is right in town less than 2 miles from where I live.
Another hurdle that I had to get over was the job description required you to be able to lift 25-50 pounds. I'm a petite female who can easily lift 30 pounds. However, I applied anyway and when the screener asked if I could do 50 pounds, I was honest and told her what I could lift. So, I guess that proves that if you don't fit every qualification, you should apply anyway.

I really struggled with interviews prior to Interview Success Formula. The questionnaire formulated answers to the top 20 questions, and I feel much more confident. Most of my interviews are over the phone and this curriculum has really helped me to prepare, practice, and answer most questions. I've had my resume reviewed, and now thinking about more hiring more support through ISF with a role play interview.

InterviewSuccessFormula delivers very logical, detailed and practical wisdom.
The large ideas are broken down into smaller steps to help you analyze yourself in order to be more prepared for your interview.
So many aspects of this important process are addressed. More than that the owner reaches out and offers support. It is so worth every cent of the purchase. I have recommended it to friends at my recent conference.

I am here to summarize my experience with this ISF. I purchased the program at the end of June 2019. I went through the program with a fine tooth comb. I had an interview with a Doviaion 1 university and two interviews with the government. One was with the Dept. of the Navy in mid July and also, the Air Force Academy Prep School in Colorado Springs, both were GS-09 positions. I was actually offered the university position but turned it down for a better position. Well, I ended up landing the Navy position as an Athletic Trainer working with Recruits at Parris Island Marine Corps. Recruiting Depot, SC. Great benefits and a work life balance to die for. I make more money and work less hours than I would have at the collegiate level as an Athletic Trainer. This program works and helped me navigate the interview process with better answers that convinced the government to take a chance on me. So, huge Thank You Alan Carniol.
All the Best,
Scott Williams, ATC

I want to thank Interview Success Formula and you, Alan, for the scope and wisdom of your program along with the support you've offered during a very uncertain period in my life. I'm especially grateful for the knowledge, confidence, and strategies you provided for an often frustratingly opaque process. Your daily emails of wisdom, encouragement, and hope provided insight and motivation. My experience is you're providing an excellent servicefar exceeding what you're charging. You are a very creative thinker (and writer) and I HIGHLY recommend this program for developing a strategy and course of action for being the very best choice for the job, since I landed mine!

I used ISF for my job search, and without it, I am confident that I would not be working starting Monday!! Alan and the staff at ISF are amazing. At Interview Success Formula, they really do care about helping people be successful with the (oh-so-complicated and discouraging) process of looking for work. I am a 58 y/o female that never imagined herself in this position and thank God for Alan, this program, and all that he did to help me. Without their help, I know that I would still be unemployed and the money for this service is nothing compared to the value of all the help they gave me. I highly recommend getting as many of his programs as you need and it is totally worth it. I had crib sheets, personal skills assessments, webinars, research, daily helps and emails forms, etc . But the thing I liked the most was that these people really are right there with you, EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!! They walked me thru the process and help is but an email away! What other company gives you personalized service?? Alan and his staff email daily and respond right away if you email them with a question or a situation. Job hunting has gotten really hard, but Alan and the Interview Success Program can help you in so many ways!! (If you are looking for work, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND INTERVIEW SUCCESS FORMULA. Consider the cost an investment in your future and it is minimal for all this program can do for you. Thank you Alan and staff. I really hope I don't need your services again, but ya never know and I will always be grateful that I got your help!!!

You would think that you are the right fit for a certain job but you get surprised by not making it and most of the time it's because you did not present yourself properly. This course shows you how to prepare yourself for the interview process and in an effective way.

I'm usually very nervous in interviews. But after preparing myself with the tools they offered I was confident and ready. I was shocked when I was asked the exact same questions I prepared for. I felt like the interviewers were more nervous than I was. Even more surprising is I landed the job. This has been a life changing event for me.

The interview course helped me to pull my skills together in a way that I felt comfortable presenting myself. The survey and crib sheet helped me to gain insight into myself and gave me confidence as I face the job market. It's been over 10 years since I've been on an interview.

I had been out of the job market for 13 years, having been with the same employer. When I decided to leave my position to better align my work with my core values, I realized I needed to strategize my job search and prepare for interviewing. This program, the self assessment and crib sheet helped me craft my answers and articulate my skills and relevant experiences with confidence.

After getting my self assessment and crib sheets, I was able to clearly communicate who I am to interviewers on the phone and in person! I got this on May 22nd and was offered a position on June 10th! I have recommended this to family and friends! Very Impressed!!! Thank you Alan!

I had my first job interview in over 20yrs. With the help of The Success Formula I was able to breeze through the interview with confidence. In just a weekend this program gave me the tools I needed to ace the interview and I did. I was offered the job I wanted. The Success Formula is easy to use and understand. The worksheets help focus on what's important. There is an abundance of information but it's set up in a comprehensive manner. I would and have recommended this program to several people I know. I would buy it again in a heartbeat, but it's available online for a lifetime. I will most certainly use it in the future for promotions.

The program is amazing, comprehensive and very effective. After months of searching with no result (30 interviews, 4 months of searching and traveling over 2, 000 miles to interview) I started the program. The program offers concrete steps and things I did to improve my interview tactics. After making many changes to my interview style I was offered TWO jobs after only one and a half months! It took These people are the real deal!

I want to say thank you. Your valuable advice on how to handle the interview process really helped me much, Although my resume is impressive and I was getting interview calls, I was not able to understand what it is exactly that employers wanted to hear. I really paid attention to your advice finally, last week, and today, after 2 months' relentless searching and interviewing, landed a contract position- which I am hoping would convert into a stable placement in due time. It's a very tough market - but I'm at least not without a job. So, Thank you again! :)

I find that this service has a tremendous positive impact on my job interview skills, because, it reveals many important things that I had given no thought to. Most of the material reveals where I have fallen short in the past during interviews. In addition, the bonus materials and daily informative tips keep me sharpening my skills as a professional in general, outside the interview arena. Thank a million for your great work!

I signed up and eagerly read all emails, however did not complete any activities - inlcuding the main online questionaire. I was dissatisfied with various aspects of my role, but the time wasn't right for me to begin job hunting.
However reading all the emails ensured I was aware of the strategies that work in job hunting, even though I wasn't applying them.
Fast forward 10 months or so, and my employer announced the business had been sold, half the positions would be made redundant (mine was one of them), and I had four weeks of employment with them prior to receiving my package.
Naturally this prompted me to complete all online activites, revamp my resume and become active on LinkedIn! All the tips from the emails were part of my Knowlege Bank already, I just needed to complete the practical exercises - which I did.
I applied for one job and had the interview while still employed (I work part time so attended the interview on one of my non-work days).
The day before the interview I was solidly preparing my responses to the interview questions with this specific role in mind.
Interestingly, most of my day was spent reading, drafting, editing - it was very late in the evening when I read over the final versions and decided I needed to get a good night sleep if I was to be at my best for the interview. On the train commute in the morring I was reading over my prepared research. I remember thinking - I'll never rember all of this!
But guess what? I didn't need to 'remember' it, as success is not about rote responses. As advocated by Alan, and experienced firsthand by me, the most important thing was the preparation - actually doing the research on the company, job role, and how my experience fit what they were likely after. I was able to answer their questions concisely because I'd put in the effort.
Also - their first question threw me as they didn't follow the usual flow of questions to expect. However it didn't matter because I was familiar with how my experience fit what they were asking for, I had practiced formulating my responses in Situation - Action - Result format and had analysed how my strengths and development areas related to the role. This meant that my responses had a natural element that rote responses lack. Leaving the interview, I remember being satisfied, knowing my performance reflected my capability acurately.
I got the job! There was a two week gap between the last day of my outgoing role and the first day of my new role; this pleased my husband although I would have preferred 4 weeks between roles but never mind!
That was an 'initial 3 month contract' three days per week - it was not only exactly what I was after, 14 months later I'm still there, and am likely to be there another 10 months at least, and I'm using Salesforce on this project which is going to increase my employability once the project finishes up. It's truly been an 'interview success' for me.
I still read all the emails, and know that eventually I'll need to revisit the activities when this role ends.
I highly recommend the program, resources, online tools, and emails - they were and continue to be invaluable to me and have more than paid for the initial investment of time and money.
