I have used connect care twice, the first experience was very good and the doctor called me in an antibiotic for a sore throat. My second experience was horrible, I called from the same location and the physician assistant that was available would not wait long enough for my phone to connect, I had to try again 5 times. Finally Robin Dale PA answered on the 5th try, I explained to her that my son had a high fever and was rubbing his ears, and had no other symptoms and that I thought it was an ear infection and maybe he needed antibiotics. She responded to me with the exact statement of "this is not an antibiotic prescription service". I was raised by a doctor, and have 3 more in my family, I am fully aware how writing prescriptions works. With an infant of a fever of 102 out in a rural area 1 hour away from any hospital or doctor (4 hrs away from his pediatrician) this is the last thing you want to hear, getting sarcasm and rudeness from the person you are seeking help from. Intermountain just emailed me that I was not charged for the visit. I could not care less if I was charged, that is not at all my concern with the service being provided. Robin Dale you should probably go find another career since you clearly are not happy in your current one.

Terrible execution of a good idea. First, they make you pay in full for the visit even if your insurance covers it, then if your insurance decides to pay, they say they will refund you in 4-6 weeks-much rather pay my co-pay at an urgent care and have them take care of collecting payment from insurance. Then they tell me I have to go get a strep test from a lab and pay the lab fees as well as the connect care visit cost, then pay for another connect care visit to get the prescription if the strep result is positive. What? How is this in any way more convenient than going to an actual doctor office where they will take care of all of that in one visit. Such a bummer, was really hoping for a convenient more affordable way to take care of small medical issues.

I thought the servious was great and convenient. The doctor was very helpful. The only improvement would be a shorter wait time to be served.

It was really good and convenient. Not to mention, quick. My only stipulation is that I had asked for a doctor's note to send to my boss and that was forgotten.

I had a great experience. They treated me quickly, accurately, and got be back on my feet. It was just like being in the doctor office, but so much easier and more affordable.

Great experience! Didn't spend hours in a waiting room with a bunch of sick people. The PA that helped me was great to work with.

I had a great experience with Intermountain Connect Care. I had an accident in the ocean in Kauai in the second week of November on the last day in Hawaii. My heel had a gash in it about 2 inches long. As a typical man, I went to the drug store and put myself together with Bactine, superglued the wound, and gauze and tape. Fast forward a couple of weeks to the Thanksgiving weekend. My wife had been trying to get me to see a doctor, but I refused. It was the night of Thanksgiving at about 10:00 p.m., and no doctor's offices open, when I realized that it was probably infected and I broke down and decided I probably better figure something out. My only choice was to go to the ER, which would have been expensive. I decided to try Intermountain Connect Care. The doctor that I did the video chat with was very helpful, and she gave me a topical antibiotic. We figured out where a pharmacy would be open on the Friday after Thanksgiving (only one in town), and she had the prescription sent there. I had the prescription filled first thing the next morning, and my heel is now healing properly. It has been another 3 weeks, and I'm almost back to 100%!

The dr was fast, friendly and knowledgable. I felt like she took the time to listen and take care of me as I was seeing her in person. I also like connectcare because I can have my issues taken care of and not run the risk of getting sick from the other patients.

In theory, this is a great idea. But our experience was below average. Instead of asking questions or carefully looking at pictures, we were immediately dismissed to go for X-Rays.

The connect care doctor said she sent in a RX for 2.5% steroid cream to my pharmacy she never sent my son's RX there and I had to go to the pharmacy find out there wasn't a Rx and then had to go to the clinic two weeks later when I had day off work to get medication for my son. Very upset with this visit probably will never use connect care again!

I love the fact there is always help there... especially when it is hard for you to always get in yo see somebody... whether it is physical limitations, time you get sick, or you just don’t feel good to get out.

The staff are kind and efficient. I'm always seen promptly and have always had a good experience with Dr. Cook and her staff. I'm glad to have finally found a place in comfortable returning to.

Called with blisters on my back all along the same nerve. Told the doctor they just started and we’re burning with a stabbing pain. There was also a rash forming around them. He said it was not shingles but a form of Fasciitis. I told him (as a paramedic) I disagreed and it was shingles. Went to my dermatologist the next morning and was diagnosed with shingles.
Always felt this over the Internet would not allow for a proper diagnosis, and this has re-affirmed that feeling

Great treatment for little things. Doctors seem rushed and misdiagnosed my husband. This is great for colds and flus and basic things.

Saw the dr to ask about my sons possible concussion and she advised us to see our regular dr and credited our visit with her since she couldn’t treat him. It saved me a trip to the emergency room and instacare which was wonderful. Will definitely use again.
