It was a big step for me to go from oversized tower Desktop to a tiny box called NUC, from Intel. It was the only affordable solution that I could find with two HDMI ports on the motherboard.
After almost a year, it has run flawlessly. And was easy to "build".
After 20+ years as a Dell customer, I now recommend the Intel NUC to anyone who wants a Desktop machine.

they don't honor their warranty I have a I7 7 gen and it does not work anymore I contacted intel support and they are emailing me for almost a month and asking the most dumb questions
anyway I just wanted to let you know that they are not going to their product or exchange it for a working one.

Excellent costumer service and RMA procedure. My Intel 9900K didn't work anymore. After trying different hardware parts and even bios updates I did change the CPU and found out the 9900k wasn't working properly. I did contact Intel and on their return page it was easy to explain the problem. Afterwards I emailed with Intel to explain it further. After some pictures, receipt and of course the processor numbers the CPU could be send towards Intel. This was done via a pick-up at my house with DHL. Sadly enough DHL didn't come on the pick-up day and Intel scheduled a new appointment. My wife called to DHL and even fixed a day earlier with the pickup. After some time the CPU arrived and it was checked. Sadly enough was the CPU indeed not working and a replacement or refund was offered. I did prefer to have a replacement. But this could take a long time since the 9900k was not in stock. In that case I did settle for a refund. This took around a week before the refund arrived. Great service! In total it did take more than a month. This took longer than expected. But as a customer for over a decade, going back to the Pentium 4 era, this was my only RMA in all those years. I have faith in the products and the customer service is very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Liviu, Eduard and Alexandru from Intel who helped me. They did a superb job!

As there were many safety issues related to their processors (like sceptre), I decided to download security updates to fix these issues.
Outcome is simple - my i7 4790 performance dropped by ca. 10%

Extreme branding and horrible customer service
The intel sticker that was placed on my new laptop was attached with an extreme epoxy solution that not only wouldn't come off but actually damaged my laptop, leaving scars on the surface and removed some of the surface layer. Then I contacted them, showing them the damage their extreme branding methods had done to my PC. After a day, they replied with a "Hi Asbjørn! We will take this as a feedback and will forward it to the concerned team." - no apologies, no attempts to do anything about the damage. I wrote them back with my dissatisfaction and got no reply. Either this replied was provided by a bot, or the employee doesn't understand their job. what a horrible company.

NUC 7 i5 BNK developed an unusual boot fault after 18 months service. The unit was collected by DHL on a Thursday PM and the replacement was delivered on the next Monday AM. Fantastic service and handled impeccably by the support guy. (Chris) Thank you Sir

Ridiculously pleased with the service provided. Basically, after having testing parts on my computer I had analyzed that my CPU had failed, but it was still under warranty. I messaged them on a Monday, the representative understood my frustration and offered me my replacement methods, all within a few hours and not in a live chat. Then the next day I spoke to a rep over the phone telling me that they would ship out my replacement part that night. The part was coming in from Kentucky and I am based in Canada, so I was expecting quite the wait but it came the next day, and I placed it in my build and it worked great. Just exemplary to be honest, even when I spoke the one of the reps over the phone he was very polite and was happy to hear how pleased I was. Great Experience, made me glad I chose Intel for my CPU because I know I can trust them. Keep it up

Best Customer Service Ever!
After having a problem my NUC. I contacted Intel customer service and after changing some mails and pictures back and forth my defective device was picked up by DHL Express. Within 2-3 days Intel sent me a brand new one/ new replacement. Thank you Intel and That's what I call a perfect customer service.
Just exemplary to be honest, even when I spoke with Intel service/Intel service employee over the phone they were very polite and helpful. Great Experience, made me glad I chose Intel brand because I know I can trust them.
Keep it up Intel. Very Happy customer service. I will always chose Intel brand from now and in future due to amazing service.

I BOUGHT I7 9700K But the shop i bought it says they not getting more keys from intel. I messages intel on facebook but they ask me to get contact with the shop where i bought it from.When this promotion still going for about 5 months. thank you intel for not getting a free copy of black ops 4. And my brother bought it on another shop and he get the free game. I never gonna pay 40 for black ops 4. I now will buy in future amd

By far the worst customer service I've ever encountered. Often no reply for over a week and I had to wait nearly a month for the issue to be sorted out. I tried other means to contact them via phone and Facebook but that was pointless. Happy to take your money but don't seem intrested in giving any support and I didn't get any direct reply to my complaints so this is definitely the last time i'll ever buy anything from this company again after this and I've been a lifelong customer.

This year I bought the barebone PC "NUC7i3BNH" in Germany. The price-performance ratio is really great and the performance of the device makes me completely satisfied.
Unfortunately it came after two months of use to a problem with a properly performed bios update, after which the PC did not boot up. Then I called the German Intel hotline and received my data for a warranty exchange. The defective device was picked up after a few days by DHL Express and within a week I was sent a new one. That's what I call a perfect customer service.

I have a fair but manageable experience with Intel. Intel works fine but they don't update their older chipsets or drivers regularly. If not because of the efficiency and effectiveness of their processors, especially when it comes to heat management, I would have swapped to AMD.

I cannot speak highly enough of the customer service from Intel. I bought a Compute Stick, which didn't work, so not a particularly good start, but the speed and efficiency with which the situation was rectified was as good as any other company I have ever dealt with. Subsequently, I have had a further issue, and that was dealt with in the same manner. First class.

After having a power problem my NUC6i7KYK (Skull Canyon) computer did not start.
I contacted Intel customer service, they sent me a sheet with clear info on how to return the product under warranty. They also sent an Airway bill and Service Invoice.
I called the number on the sheet for local FedEx, they picked it up from my house, shipped it to Malaysia, shipped me back a brand new replacement at my door in 11 days. All costs for shipping covered express FedEx delivery each way.
I live in Indonesia, and bought the NUC from the USA. I was expecting a nightmare having to ship back to US, costs, time, the usual drama and hassle I've come to expect from customer service.
This was the opposite and it is amazing. I am taking the time to share this where I can because I believe that a company that operates like this truly deserves the recognition for this kind of quality of service.
