I first tried to get a rental car policy using a Mac computer . I couldn’t put the payment on it? I called and the lady told me that It didn’t work on a Mac? I would have to get from or go to the library to purchase it? So I bought it from another company. Later my grandson let me use his computer to buy a different policy for another trip? I’m writing you this review to let you know that . Your company is losing a lot of money from people that want to buy policy from you that have macs or iPhones ? You may want to at least take the payment over the phone ?

It was fast to buy the policy, and from my research on other rental insurance policies, this one covers more than any other I found. I asked a few questions prior to purchasing, and the response didn't completely answer what I needed to know, so I spent about a half hour or so looking through the website to find what I needed. It was there, just a little buried.

In the process of making a claim, a very confusing and problematic process. The agent assigned to my claim has an out of office email response from March (its September). My documents uploaded two weeks ago have still not been reviewed. Trying to get in touch with someone to follow up with is impossible. Stinks of slow walking the claim and certainly not user friendly. Its easy to buy and "good value", whether they actually cover anything remains to be seen.

Sign up was quick, easy, and affordable.
I waited to post my review as we had a stone chip/crack the windshield and I wanted to include the claims resolution process in my consideration.
It's taking some time to get it resolved, as the repair estimate the rental car company submitted included the repair of previous damage. Though I feel like I had to do more than my share of the sorting, it's all getting sorted and ultimately we are covered.

I initially sent an email asking for clarification but instead received a reply which in no way answered my question. I went ahead and bought an annual policy but each time I was emailed a PDF copy of my policy, I was unable to down load any copy (they sent four PDFs).
I told the customer service representative that it was obvious to me that something was wrong with their computer system but instead of acknowledging their error, she kept sending me bad copies of my policy.
It took two requests by me to get her to cancel my policy, though I still have not received a refund.
If they can't handle a simple thing like sending PDF files, I hate to think what they would or not do if I needed to file a claim with them!

It was easy to put in the dates that I need rental car coverage. However it isn't immediately clear what coverage is included. I had to read a different FAQ page to find out about the coverage. I received a link to the policy right away.

I was extremely disappointed in the accessibility of the website. The site contains an accessibility policy, but it was clear to me that it is lip service only. As a blind screen reader user, I was unable to complete the form, to purchase the insurance. I had to enlist the help of sighted assistance because of the barrier that I encountered on the site. I was also surprised as to how much higher the rates are. Last year, we purchased the same insurance for $23 less. Next time, I will sign up for the American Express rental coverage and forget about this product. Too bad, it was good for a long time. We all better let Clark Howard know that he should not be recommending them any more.

I like the product and ease of purchase through the website. However, I have yet to receive my policy documents. Despite numerous emails back and forth, they maintain the “only” way to deliver my docs, apart from fax and regular mail (archaic), is through “the system.” In other words, even though they’re emailing with me back and forth, they can’t add a pdf attachment to the email. This kind of technological/customer service limitation is not only surprising, but frustrating for a company who’s entire existence is dependent upon documents and the client’s possession and use of such documents.
I think the approach and effort in (attempting) to resolve my issue is shortsighted and lazy. I hope this is not a reflection of the customer service I can expect when I file a claim.
