Sent us power supplies that looked like they'd been dipped in man juice, then thrown into a pile of dust. Three of the four PSU's didn't work. We sent them back, they then sent us others - to the wrong address. They wanted us to go pick them up. The guy on the phone persistently told me to stop speaking. Disgusting behaviour from a company I'd never recommend to anyone, ever.
An absolute joke. How companies like this continue to exist is beyond me. Swerve like the plague.

Made an order for a washing machine just before going on holiday! Booked delivery for a date on my return. Only got suspicious when no text arrived for a delivery slot. Tried phoning and no ring tone. Finally checked these new reviews and realised I'd been scammed.
Hopefully Paypal/ Bank will help to get my refund as the payment was taken immediately on ordering.( I bet they couldn't believe their luck that I hadn't read the more recent reviews)

Having seen the washing machine I wanted at a price of £20 below list with free delivery and taking my old machine away seemed like a good deal, so looked into the company and the reviews at the time weren't too bad, more good than bad, so on 15/05/2015 I put an order in for a LG washing machine and choose the Friday 23/05 for delivery, I was given a slot between 3-7pm and the money extracted from my account immediately, this was the day before the bank holiday weekend, so I booked 2 days off work.
On Thursday morning I disconnected and removed my machine which I left in the garden ready for taking away. That same afternoon about 4.30 I received a phone call from Sarah on behalf of instock advising that the machine could not be delivered on the Friday but had ben moved to the Saturday after argument and heated debate, I had no choice but to accept, a new email was sent to advise delivery again would be between 3-7pm so having put my old machine back come the Saturday morning I again removed it, and waited and waited and, no phone neither did i have a delivery, be back holiday weekend could contact instock. The following day I contacted the courier company who man the switchboard on the weekend to find that they had no trace of my order but neither do they deliver on Saturday.
Tuesday Morning I received a phone message from Scott at instock to advise that the courier had gone over his driving hours and to call to re arrange delivery, which i did and spoke to the infamous Sarah, I had previously sent an email advising that I could take delivery on the Thursday of Friday that same week if it could be arranged, we agreed on the thursday so I booked another day off, I received an email Wednesday evening advising my delivery would be on the Friday, so I immediately contacted instock and spoke to Sarah to cancel the order, she said a refund would be processed and would take 3 to 5 working days, so I waited for my refund.
At 11.50 on Tuesday following I received a call on my mobile from an unrecognised number, I was currently 50 miles away from home, I returned the call and it was from the courier company advising that my machine was on board for delivery, I advised that i had cancelled but would come back for delivery, they said they would get back to me during which time i was in the local area, received a call back an hour later and arranged to be home for 2,pm, the arrived at 2.20pm and where from the milton Keynes depot, very pleasant guys, the machine was unloaded and unpacked to verify it was what I had ordered which it was and they put it in the kitchen where i wanted and left, the machine was fine, but of course when i came to register with LG it had to be within 2 weeks of purchase I was now in my 3rd week, so emailed instock for verification of delivery, but no surprises when i heard nothing, having seen the recent reviews i count myself lucky to have received my machine, but this company is a joke but as they say what goes around comes around.

Tumble dryer arrived with crack on top ...refused to accept..was asked to look at website to see if any other model would be acceptable , as they were no longer supplying the model I ordered ...looked , but nothing suitable so asked for refund ...this was on Jan 27th 2015 !! they claimed they sent 2 cheques ...TOTAL LIES ...STARTED LEGAL ACTION ON May 26th ..no response ...now understand they have gone out of business ...the totally toothless tigers of Leicester Trading standards were made aware of this situation, but their seemingly lack of action, (imho)may well have contributed to other people losing their goods or money ..these people are rogues, but no doubt will start up another business and start their robbing again !! I really wish there was ability to give a MINUS RATING !!! PayPal not interested , nor American Express !! so have lost nearly £500....had ordered in September, but delayed delivery until January due house renovation

We ordered a washing machine with Instockappliances on 4th May when "trustpilot" had a 5/5 review for their website. Since then it appears they have gone AWOL!
The night I placed my order I had 2 emails saying my order had failed and that nothing was confirmed. However, they have taken 2 payments from me. They now don't answer the phone and the website is down. I'm gutted as like most people I don't have money to throw away. These people are sick for playing games with peoples money!
Its a shame I have to give 1 out of 5!!!!

The good news is I got my money back from PayPal and managed to get another appliance from Appliances online with the most excellent services from them.

As many other people i have had money stollen from me by instockappliances to the sum of £484 for a range cooker in the last couple of weeks ! Ordered on the 1/6/15 money taken from my account instantly and that was it no confirmation email or references no contact nothing ! Bit of grace given by me waited a few days for contact still nothing tried loggin on to website to find it has diserpeard 'servers not responding' tried phoning 'dead phone line' spoke to bank as paid by debit card assured I will get my money back but could not start claim until after said delivery date which I chose when checking my order out 12/6/15 but was advised to start fraud report form with the police which I did, claim has been now submitted with the bank and hopefully my funds will b deposited back to my account Asap so I can order another cooker and actually cook my 2year old son a proper meal again! I have found information that the people behind this company have done this befor a few years ago under a different company name !! So if you have been scammed by these crooks then PLEASE file a fraud report with the police using online services which apparently your not aloud to name on here 'pretty simple to find thou' to build a bigger case against these crooks and stop them from stealing from others !!!

Do not order. We're still waiting for our washing machine and have registered a dispute with paypal as we cant get in touch with the company. Customer service was non existent and they never called us back.

Further to my last review a company search has revealed that in stock appliances have NOT registered as insolvent? So, where does this leave the consumers who have paid them money for goods which haven't been delivered? The company telephone number is unavailable and the email address is not operational. instock appliances has so far failed to deliver this item for 3 times in a row - initial delivery was cancelled just one day before the scheduled date due to "driver call in sick". In their 2nd attempt, the dishwasher "was not in the van" when the driver arrived 3hr late at 8pm. The 3rd time was simplify no show... Where is my dishwasher??!!!

Hi, I placed my order on 26/4/15 with a delivery date set for Friday 1st May. A day before a delivery I was called that my delivery has been postponed till next Friday 8th May and advised to contract Centrex, their delivery service company. I rang Centrex in the morning to find out the delivery slot and have been promised a call back. As no calls were returned I rang them again and have been told that my delivery would be on Monday. On Monday the story repeated, so I was told that a delivery would DEFINATELY be on Tuesday. I called them 3 times today and every times was promised a call back. No calls retuned again. I find this service unreliable and would not recommend it to anyone.

i am putting on an updated review as instock appliances pulled the last off as missing proof of purchase i have got this and will gladly show it to anybody they failed to deliver my cooker twice,then delivered it after it was cancelled then failed to collect it on 3 occasions,we had to pay T.N.T to collect and send back to them before paypal could refund me,sarah at instock is one of the biggest liars ever her excuses were phenomenal!!! this company has now disappeared without trace they are spineless thieving lowlife and hope they get their comeuppance.i have noticed also on facebook one of their drivers was not even paid from them when he was a delivery driver for them,how do these people sleep!!!!!!!!!!

I was very impressed with the service provided. The customer service was excellent and they were able to deliver earlier than advertised which was helpful for me. Communication was excellent. I would recommend them unreservedly!

Ordered a £460 appliance on 27 May 2015 and chose a Saturday delivery slot on 6th June - most reviews at this point seemed good enough (this is now not the case!). Of course payment swiftly taken immediately and then the service deteriorated. Was informed that I would receive an email and text the day before to confirm the estimated delivery time and a call at 10am on the day to confirm more specific timings. Nothing arrived the day before. On delivery day I tried to call the company but they are only open 9.30-5pm Monday - Friday, so I called the courier company. The courier company said they take calls every weekend from instockappliances customers and they do not deliver on Saturdays - she said this happens week in, week out.. so why are instockappliances still booking delivery slots on a saturday and why are the courier company continuing to work with them! Had to wait until Monday (today 8th June) to complain and find the whereabouts of my goods - struggled to get through on numerous occasions from several phones and been redialling constantly - I have now been on hold for a total of nearly 2hr 45mins today on various different attempts and not spoken to a single person - no answerphone to leave message - and in the meantime racking up a huge phone bill. To top all of this off - the website is down and now way of contacting the company via email or webchat!! Now I have found these similar reviews and reported to my bank who have said they have had numerous calls about this company today alone! DO NOT USE THEM. No means of contacting them to get a resolution or an explanation, so no I will not give them the benefit of doubt on this one until I am contacted with an explanation/ my item is delivered in good condition/ I am refunded.

Strangely, Trust Pilot have removed my review as it has been reported as not having a proof of purchase so I provided this as requested and now Trust Pilot wont reply to me, They are as bad as Instock Appliances!!!!
Ordered a washing machine from these crooks. I got what appears to be the standard no delivery on the 1st day and then the same on the 2nd day. I asked for a refund and was kept hanging on for weeks like everybody else. They kept lying, telling me that the refund had been processed but no refund appeared. I opened a case and reported them to Citizens Advice who advised me to write a letter to them. Some bloke called Scott phoned me following receipt of the recorded delivery letter and promised to do a manual refund, even phoning me back later the same day to say it had been done. This was a lie as with everthing with this company. Luckily, my credit card company has refunded my money by doing some sort of charge back on their bank account. The police need to be brought in. Does anybody know how we go about this?

May 21st paid £415 for a washing machine that was meant to be delivered on May 29th but the delivery van broke down. Informed that i would receive a refund within a week as not able to deliver, guess what?? no refund!! Unable to contact company by phone or email.
Please stay away from these rogues!

I purchased a fridge freezer on May 27th, delivery was arranged for June 5th. The goods did not arrive. I contacted the delivery agents CENTREX I was told by them that they had no deliveries booked for my address. I then tried to contact IN STOCK APPLIANCES via the web site to check on the status of the order. To my surprise the web site appears to have gone down and so I am unable to contact them. As i paid via Paypal I have now opened a dispute through them in order to get my payment returned to me.

A difficult day given deliveries running late due to snow in yorkshire. Understood but I didn't receive the text or email confirming time slot the night before. Phone line closed by that point and not open till 9:30! It took me an hour of phoning and trying each option (all but sales just rang and rang, sales had a queue minder at least) eventually got through by phoning on mobile and house phone and leaving on speaker phone. Was supposed to be working during all this. Delivery very delayed meaning I had to cancel evening activities but delivery driver was friendly (if tired) and helped me put washer in correct space before leaving.

I found it very easy to order what I wanted and to get a quick delivery. Just a one man delivery for my washing machine but he was very curious.
Free delivery and free collection of my old machine were a big plus.
