Hobby Lobby in Bend, Oregon treats their "older" cashiers with total lack of respect. The younger girls are offered departments while the older ladies are just "used" for cashiers to make their customers think they respect older citizens...

Love Hobby Lobby but was told today they no longer carry Jesus Loves Me Ribbon but they had plenty of Rainbow Ribbon. Very disappointed. Amazon carries it, so I will just shop there for all my needs.

I used to love going to Hobby Lobby so much easily spending an hour or more going up and down their isles with big smiles on my face. It was a happy place for me but sadly it will no longer be a place where I'll be spending anymore of my money. I've easily dropped $100,$200 even $500 at times in spending sprees. Today after spending 50 bucks in the morning time and then an additional almost $300 with my husband in the evening due to a sale they were having and we had security called several times the cops were on line one several times. They also requested "LP" come to the front of the store. Well in the meantime we had gone to check out and paid for our stuff and I didn't think twice about the stuff said on loudspeaker in store because I wasn't doing anything wrong and when I went to leave the store with my bagged up items in my cart as my husband was at the register getting our PAID receipt handed to him the lp lady embarrassingly "blocked me" not allowing me to leave the store. She told me I wasn't allowed to leave the store until she sees the receipt and she had to literally check the receipt to make sure that all the items were on there it was humiliating and embarrassing and I will never step foot back in a hobby lobby again after that experience and I will be telling everybody I know about it and asking them to boycott hobby lobby as well I'm considering calling the news stations as well. I have never stolen anything from hobby lobby in my life, I am very angry at how I was treated after spending the money I spent there today. So it's sad that they do this sort of thing even after she knew we paid for everything she was still rude to us both we were very upset. I'm considering returning all I purchased for full refund as I don't want to support a store that has policies that are directed towards innocent people trying to financially support their business. What's ironic is that while she was so focused on harassing us for no good cause an actual shop lifter apparently made off with some stolen goods. Normally I would be upset someone had stolen from the store since it negatively affects us all but I had to laugh this once because it was so ironic and thought serves you right hobby lobby you pick on the honest loyal customer (well once loyal cause now I'm done with them) letting the person committing the crime walk free and escape.

I am a crafter and over the years Hobby Lobby has been my go to store for supplies. Many of the items I purchased have been by using the 40% off coupon. By discontinuing the 40% off coupon you have taken away my incentive to go out of my way and shop Hobby Lobby. There are several other craft stores closer to my home to shop at. As far as I am concerned your decision to do away with the 40% off coupons is a bad one. Good Bye old Friend

This company is stuck in the Mideval times. Their personal views on women's bodies, religion and buisness are archaic, and they tried to illegally hoarde "Christian Artifacts". Absolutely crazy. They are so extreme Christian they stopped carrying Halloween decorations, they have some stickers and scrap book pages but not a ghost or Jack O Lantern in sight. Kiss my pagan money goodbye, I'm clearly unwelcome and I dont want to help finance these nutter butters.

I am a concerned customer of Hobby Lobby Totowa NJ I was at a register paying and heard the manager(Melissa) say to a cashier while she was trying to explain what she was leaving behind. "Move get out of the way and just leave!" How dare she speak to anyone in that manner. I wanted to speak to the young lady after but she left in shock. How disgraceful! A store which is supposed to be considered with values obviously does not hire management to do the same!

Building a Dollhouse Miniature for wife. Need to start the wiring for the house. Reseached wire kits on-line and Hobby Lobby pops up with a kit. Their website show it for $49.99 for a Cir-Kit Concepts kit (SKU: 396549) for $49.99. Directly above the kit picture and SKU is a coupon link, which shows the 40% off coupon. Great!
The store is only a few miles away, so we go. One kit left, same kit, same packaging, same SKU, but the price on the white label is $69.99. Go to the register and ask the cashier about the price difference, cashier calls over someone for approval. They said they would honor the $49.99 on-line, but I can't use the coupon. I show her the coupon link on their website for the item. Can't do it.
We ask for a manager, so Steve, Asst Manager (name tag) shows up. We have the same discussion again with him. Tell him I'm gong to contact their corporate office and I ask for his name, says he can't give out his last name. Now he says this kit is a "YOUR PRICE" and I can't use the 40% off coupon. Their is no "YOUR PRICE" sticker on the package. He says that it's the stores fault but I can have it at the YOUR PRICE of $49.99 (off the website) which means I can't use the coupon, even the website shows the coupon link, and even though it's not labeled an YOUR PRICE, or, I can have it at the $69.99 price and get the 40% OFF.
Now there is a line of 10-12 people behind us and one register open (like normal).
Now the cashier starts to get in on the conversation, being combative and rude to both us. When asked, he says his name "Samon", but he has no name tag so so don't know if he was lying to me or not. Asst Manager said nothing.
I told him he should not be arguing with customers.
By the way, our receipt shows cashier says "S-541 R-1 T-9252 ANTHONY M SALE"
Again, Steve says nothing to the kid after 3-4 combative statements for "SAMON". So Steve admits he, the manager messed up with the pricing labels, and his employees can argue with customers and he doesn't have the skill set to control his employees in front of 15-20 customers. Nice!
I needed the kit, so I bought it at $69.99 and got the 40% off.
They need to go to church more and practice what they preach.

I would rate the hobby lobby location In lawrenceville less than 1 if I could. This has happened to my more than one time when I went to pay for my items. An associate working asked the customers in line to go to an open cashier. I was next in line and the cashier told me to let another lady that was there after me. Another cashier came and asked the person in back of me to go to another cashier. I was left in line the entire time (because the customer before me had many items) when others that came after me were able to make a purchase. I consider that awe full customer service. It can not be a coinsidence because it happened more than once. I was stupid to go back.

I purchased a Christmas tree from the Beavercreek, Ohio location on November 6,2020. Due to the I'm assuming size of the item you get the ticket of the tree you wanted and take it to the check out counter with you. We purchased the tree then an employee brought it to us at the front of the store. We got home, set the tree up, and plugged the lights in. Within a few second sparks came from the tree in an area the lights did not work, so we quickly unplugged it and began looking through the tree. We found a completely severed wire. While packaging the tree back up to take back we found a sticky note at the very end of the box that said "cut wire fire hazard". This was very concerning as they clearly knew it was a damaged protected, one that was DANGEROUS. Why was the product not removed from the sale area?
We took the tree back and asked to speak to a manager. The manager advised we could return the tree for a full refund but any other compensation would have to come from corporate. Corporate called the following Monday and offered a $10.00 gift card.
We got a full refund which is what matters but seriously? You could have burned our home down and all you offer is a $10.00 gift card.

For a Christian Store, they sure are rude to people. I was behind a lady in the Pensacola Florida, Davis Hwy location in the return line today and she was trying to return a little doll from the dollhouse area. She had a receipt and she had her packaging she kept saying over and over the package was opened when she bought it. Then she pointed to the return policy on the cash register that said they'd happily return any item with a receipt. They absolutely would not refund that for her. The manager that came up and talked to her about it was rude also. I ended up leaving the store I was so disgusted with the way they were treating her and I went to Joann and found what I needed. I will NEVER shop at Hobby Lobby again and I hope that lady leaves them a bad review!

Floral department items are marked wrong on the tag, on the shelf AND on the package.
I picked three ivy garlands, priced $3.99 each, each hanging among the other IDENTICAL garlands priced $15.99.
At the checkout, I pointed out the discrepancy, hoping they'd meet me half way for the error; instead, I was told by the manager that was the old price, the new price is $19.99.
Christian companies should not have ridiculous price discrepancies, rude customer service, poor business practices and inability to admit their faults.
So disappointed with this "CHRISTIAN" business in Pueblo.
C'mon, guys, be a good example to the rest of the retail world!

Let me preface this whole email by saying that my wife and I LOVE hobby lobby. We walk into a store at least once a week, even if it's just to look.
Today, actually 20 minutes ago, my wife went to purchase a fall decoration. We went specifically for a certain type of decoration and the one she found was the closest that came to what she wanted. While contemplating purchasing this item my wife notice the not so perfect craftsmanship on it. Glue was hanging off of it and smeared across some of the decoration. As well as the top of a pumpkin was coming loose. Even still my wife still wanted it. When we came to the cashier, Dillon, who could have cared less if he helped us or not, very inattentive and careless, my wife asked if there was anything that could be done about the less than satisfactory craftsmanship. Dillon waved down Trish, a manager, to which Trish said there was nothing she could do and that we "can take it home and just snip it off." I was taken aback by this comment. I shouldn't have to take "art" home and have to fix it. So after telling us she couldn't do anything for us, without saying sorry about the terrible work or any kind of sympathy for the situation, my wife still purchased this piece of work. On the drive back home my wife noticed more small details that made this piece not worth the money we paid. So we headed back to Hobby Lobby to return it. Personally I have a small temper but I held myself together and I wasn't going to say a word because it wasn't worth it to the cashier who knew nothing of the situation. THEN. Trish was called over to complete the refund. After she inputs her numbers or whatever she picks up the piece and proceeds to tell the cashier "the lady that bought this was complaining about the glue", saying it very patronizing and with an attitude. I opened my mouth and showed her about 4 other things wrong with it, to which Trish responded with silence. No sorry, no empathy for it being a bad piece of work, NOTHING. I told her "thanks for being empathetic to the situation, I really appreciate it". Simultaneously the cashier is handing me the refund money and I start to head out the door and Trish makes it a point to say with an attitude and rudeness in her voice telling me to "have a nice day". I work in a profession where customer service is vital to my operations. And how she spoke to myself, and how she handled the situation was absolutely atrocious. Not sure how exactly she became a manger but something needs to be looked into at the Hobby Lobby on Old St. Augustine Rd in Jacksonville Florida. Never going to that location again and it will be a while before I go back to any Hobby Lobby. Terrible experience, and at the hands of a "manager" none the less. Being in customer service I know that it's almost a 100% guarantee that nothing will come of this review and life will go on as normal. I just hope Hobby Lobby steps their standards up as far as management goes.

I would NOT suggest buying large frames from Hobby Lobby! My daughter purchased a 20x30 frame with glass and when she got home and took the back off to put her picture in it the glass broke in 3 pieces! I called the Gainesville Ga. Store where she purchased it to see if she could exchange it or return it and there response was There is nothing we can do! And now she is out $30.00. And she sat in the floor balling because she doesn't have money like that to spend! Oh it was for a gift!

Stay away from the house brand yarn. I had hoped that it would get better over the past few years after the company eliminated most of their outside brands. The Bee yarn is always full of snags, tangles, and knots. Most of the time I end up losing feet because I have to cut it at some point in the process. Guaranteed bad knitting experience when attempting to knit with this junk. There is no quality assurance with regard to this product. Further, the employees could care less that the product(s) are descent and usable. Regardless of which employee a customer approaches, rest assured that any employee is miserable working at HL and possesses a combative persona. I always have a bad experience at their stores. So, in a nutshell; customer service is consistently inadequate starting with the very nasty COVID-19 greeters at the front door and the in-house brands are frankly unusable. And for the record I travel all over the United States and have been to more than a dozen HL's, so my evaluation is concurrently consistent across the board.

I would give zero stars if I could. The CEO of hobby lobby has claimed NOT being able to own slaves violates His religious freedom. This is despicable behavior, however judging by the racist encounters and unwelcoming environment in the service department, I expected no lower than this. They call and are known for being a Christian owned business, these racist people are the frontlines depicting how Christians are and what lives they hold highest. If you are a christian, I ask you prove them wrong with me. We welcome all. And we do NOT Degrade any human solely on the shade of their skin, we are brothers and sisters. We were all made in GODS depiction.

I ordered a $300 wood bench from Hobby Lobby online and it was sent in a cardboard box with no protective packaging. It arrived with legs torn off, cracks in the wood, and a broken bracket. It was beyond my repair. After many emails to their customer service department I requested and was promised a full refund- never received it. I opened a dispute with PayPal since this is how I paid for it, Hobby Lobby contacted me and told me that they'd refund me but I had to close the PayPal dispute before it could be done. I closed the dispute a month ago and informed Hobby Lobby again via email that it had been completed- I'm ready for my refund now. NOTHING! They had the audacity to tell me if had been refunded to my method of payment when it hasn't- PayPal can attest to that. I've had nothing but poor experiences purchasing from Hobby Lobby.

Shipped took longer then expected cause of Covid-19 totally understandable. Received item with three broken pieces and missing the red piece for the dates on my chalkboard. Emailed with pictures to see what they were doing with items like this. Finally received an email after I sent 2, stating they are not taking products back right now but can do a refund if I provide information that they needed. So I gave all the information requested. Now we are on day 5 of no response or refund. Definitely disappointed cause I have heard great things about hobby lobby, but unfortunately I was not pleased at how they handled this.

By providing online service but when you place an order and wait 3weeks, send emails because there are no phone service and get no response. As though we customers are a joke.
