I have been a provider using HICAPS for the last 4 months, and both times when I had needed to make changes to my terminal (location and signing up), I have encountered gross delays in responses and issues with signature recognition by the company. This has resulted in a lot of inconvenience, frustration and loss of income. When they do respond, it is with their "standard" replies, which does not in fact cater to the individual needs of the customer. They charge an exorbitant monthly fee, PLUS a percentage of the fees the provider charges, yet, their customer service has remained rigid, incompetent and shocking to say the least. I am greatly disappointed with the level of service and support I am getting, but am stuck with them indefinitely, since they are pretty much a monopoly in this trade.
