Hello,
I ordered from Groupon. The seller, Avenue A, shipped directly. The listing was for authentic Angel by Thierry Mugler (I have been a longtime buyer and know correct package etc).
Item arrived and was not shrink wrapped or sealed. Box was obviously recycled. No paperwork or item numbers. Smells horrible and bottle is cheap.

AVOID getting anything from Groupon. I bought Gloria Skin Groupon and they are temporarily closed. Before I bought it, I checked the same day to see if they were open. It says they will open but they were closed. I understand that you close due to COVID but why sell Groupon if you know your place will be closed. It’s dishonest and not a good way to run a business. I requested for a refund and they refuse to refund me. GROUPON’s return policy is not very good.

I purchased a Sams club Groupon Bach in January or February. Sams refused to take it in store and everyone I talked to just kept passing the buck. Then came Groupon customer service or lack of. Since then it has expired and they still keep telling me to contact Sams! Sams says it's Groupon problem, there the one that sold it to me and of course Groupon says they have a no refund policy. Well I have a no return to Groupon policy!! You should too!

I have been using groupon for several years and have found the quality of product and service has gone down a lot. Several items i have bought are of very poor quality especially masks. I would not recommend buying them from groupon. I also bought a voucher for papa john's pizza which the vendor refused to redeem as groupon was not paying them. When i complained to groupon they offered me groupon credit instead of crediting my card as requested. I am still waiting to receive refund.

They send you email promos about limited time deals -- then they reduce prices before you even get shipment. I bought an iPad for $249 and by the time I got it four days later it was $20 less... They are hype merchants with lousy service and a crappy return policy.. It is impossible to reach customer service in a timely way, and they won't refund money on returns either... They only offer Groupon credit.. Why would anybody buy from Groupon when other major retailers and resellers offer refunds and better customer service.... I will never buy from them again.

I bought a groupon, for a canvas image. I submitted groupon and image on said site. I started receiving all emails from merchant bothering me about my image not being "right" they requested other one, I ended up sending 2 more and all was wrong to them in the end they never made or sent my item they told me to get refund at groupon and groupon refused both are scammers

Got a coupon as a gift for a hair cut. Apparently, the coupon isn't even sold by the salon and is instead from an employee who hasn't worked there in two years, and it is them who get the money, not the company, they've tried to take it down but can't since they didn't post it. I can't get a return because the customer service page doesn't load no matter how I try and there is no number anywhere to call.Wish I could give 0 stars

Ordered from Groupon, Not delivered...even if goods were over 6 days "on delivery-truck" of Fedex...all hiding behind COVID... where the Virus had/has nothing to do with it...
Refund only possible in useless Groupon-Dollars. I am left without the bought goods (and of course..the supplier was just out and couldn't replace...),and Groupon-Bucks I don't want....

Purchased a HP Laptop, despite the reviews, which were poor. Item was defective, I contacted them to ask how to return for a refund. This was a very difficult process, had to argue to receive a return label. Once they received the return, they stated that refunds can only go to "Groupon Bucks", I repeatedly asked for a refund back to my credit card, to no avail. When spending this kind of money, it should be expected to receive a refund if the item was defective and returned.

I order two high chairs off this site. Once I got my confirmation email there was no expected delivery date. So I wait and check for a fews days just to realize that my order wasnt even processed after 5 days. I couldnt reach no customer service and they refused to give me my money back in the supposed "self service" tool. The deals really arent that great to wait a whole month to recieve your products.

I bought something from Groupon Marketplace on 4/25/20. As of today it has not shipped, so I tried to cancel the order. I have emailed the vendor through Groupon's website ten times. The vendor condescendingly answers "don't worry about it." Groupon customer service says it's up to the vendor. This is a $20 order. Why would Groupon want to lose a customer over $20? I cannot answer that. The customer service is AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Liars and thieves. My package never reached the carrier, but Groupon said it was in transit. Then they show on the site they refunded my money. I checked with my bank and there was no refund. They will not offer a cash refund even though that was their policy. So now I'm out $228 with no product or even store credit to show for it.

I purchased an item from Groupon, they never shipped the item, and when I asked for a refund I was told I couldn't get my money back! Groupon can list an item to get your money in the system, don't ship and force you to buy another item! Can you spell SCAM! They don't have the right to determine how you spend your money! The company refused to refund my purchase during COVID-19. I had to reach out to them 5-6 separate times and had been jerked around with every experience. Nothing was straightforward, they gave the same pre-written response every time. I had to request my refund due to the pandemic and being relocated on military orders. They were entirely apathetic towards my situation. I have had so much of my time wasted, and I am still frustrated that these crooks got away with it.

I contacted customer support to get a refund for an unused Groupon that I purchased and was unable to use due to the fact that the merchant went out of business before I was able to claim the service. First of all, you cannot contact anyone via phone, so you're left with an online chat center located who knows where. After explaining the situation multiple times, they flat out refused to offer me a credit or a refund. In light of what happened, I basically feel that Groupon stole the money from me and kept it all for themselves without the defunct merchant or I reaping any benefit whatsoever. Terrible policy, poor customer service, and dishonest business practices all the way around.

Groupon blames merchant to not refund. They refuse to attempt to help, they rather blame. Order are taking weeks and if you try to cancel even before shipping, they will not refund you. They do weird charges to your account...authorize them total and then separate it, leaving a list of charges in your credit card account that doesn’t match the total or confirmation of order from Groupon.

Ordered goods 10 March, chased up order 02 April, 08 April informed order re-shipped & should be with me in 3 working days. 16 April still no goods arrived so managed to source goods elsewhere & requested refund. 17 April was informed they would only place a new order or refund in Groupon Credits which last 12 months. As I've only shopped with Groupon 3 times over 6 years neither option were suitable for me so again asked for refund. 21 April they point blank refused a refund

I would not recommend this company.took 14 days to deliver my order. I am in my 70s I suffer with asthma i needed this order to have a good night's sleep.emailed customer care( or customer don't care) explained, same message came back each time.i would have thought in these troubled times they would have made a better effort.

In utter shock in how this company is dealing with this crisis. I purchased a spa weekend to which I was unable to attend Due to covid-19. £110. They made ME contact the spa to confirm that they authorise a refund, which I did. And after a lot of back and fourth with groupon and spa company - groupon didn’t even offer my money back they offered GROUPON CREDITS. A LARGE, RICH BUSINESS STEALING FROM PEOPLE. The service was NOT PROVIDED, therefore we should be entitled to our hard EARNED money back. I have no idea WHY they think it’s acceptable to decide what we do with OUR MONEY. Angry is an understatement, I’ve used them countless times and NEVER AGAIN. I hope they go under by the amount of people they’re losing as customers due to this awful customer service.

Purchased a car wash, was the second one I purchased. And forgot about it as I'm busy with work. Recently remembered and think it should be all right as I haven't received any service they should be able to at least refund that to credit. Read some T/C and said during this covid19 (altho when it comes to my deal, I purely forgot about it, so the expiry has nothing to do with covid19 honestly), they are working to help customers refund the expired vouchers into credit. But when I contacted the online customer support, get a simply answer, no, sorry, it can't be refunded. yes, I'm sure, sorry about it. Great, $99 is not a big money, but great it persuade me out of any further groupon deal, never groupon again. Spending more money supporting our local businesses, not a problem, but let this kind of nasty company to make benefits between consumers and merchants, a big NO.

Order never arrived, allowed plenty of time due to covid-19. Would not refund as I had gone past the refund deadline?? But wait, I never received my order!!! Offered Groupon credits.....not good enough, your mistake, I ordered in good faith and expect a full refund, including delivery. Paid by PayPal so I've opened a claim and escalated the case. Disgusting service!

Ordered face masks which were supposed to ship within 2 days of order. After 8 days, ,"still in process" I want a credit to my Visa. Rep will only give Groupon Bucks. Unacceptable way of doing business.
