I placed an order on gamersloot.com on January 24th very early in the a.m, well before business hours had started. Meaning my order was received by them and able to be picked as of that same day.
I live in Australia and the company is in Australia too, so it’s a domestic delivery.
I received an email containing my order confirmation info straight away but after 7 days I was still yet to receive an email containing the shipping information and I was starting to worry it hadn’t even been sent yet. They had my correct contact details btw, including my phone number. I checked to make sure. I had to email them 3 times asking for the shipping information for my order. Finally on the afternoon of the third day of trying to make contact with them they responded that it hadn’t been sent yet as it was still still inside their up to 7 business days (not total days, business days) for shipping policy, just.
This in itself raised concerns as that’s a LONG time frame just to ship and order. (If the order was placed on a Friday the 7 business days could potentially also include 4 weekend days as well remember. This is WELL below industry standards as that would be 11 total days before shipping)
After not seven but TEN working days I finally got an email from them stating it had been despatched and a tracking number for the despatched items. I copied and pasted the tracking number onto their couriers website’s tracking box and it came up “no scanning events” meaning they have no record of it so it in fact has not been shipped at all!!!!! I emailed their courier company. After another 3 days I finally got a reply from the couriers confirming that it hadn’t been shipped and to contact gamersloot.com.au. Now obviously the courier company contacted gamersloot.com.au as part of their investigation into my enquiry as to what was going on with my “delivery”. I know this because I checked the tracking number again after the courier company replied to me and it was now suddenly sent. That was TWELVE working days after ordering (19 total days). By the time it will get to me it will be around 25-28 total days!!!! For a delivery within Australia!
Terribly slow and poor customer service and pathetically slow despatch times. Don’t order from them or you will regret it.
Any items of theirs you want simply search the items on eBay. Ebay sellers despatch either same day or next day and a late delivery time of more than a few days results in a full refund. FUMING!
