If I could leave less than 1 star, I would. Customer service was horrible - rude, unreasonable and ignorant. Was trying to establish service at my new address only to be told they don't service that address which was incorrect because the prior resident had service there. After multiple calls over the span of 2 weeks to different departments and the account information from the prior resident, they finally determined they do service the address. To set up service they ran a credit check without notifying me or getting my approval to do so. In order to get internet (Fios) you were required to setup telephone service as well. Service was setup 2 weeks later but was very unreliable. Internet was constantly down for extended periods of time. We cancelled service after 2 months and have been using mobile hotspot through our cell phone provider. Frontier has everyone in this area over a barrel because they own the lines and therefore are the only internet provider.

Terrible customer service, had been in the phone with 3 different agents because they did NOTHING correctly. Never give you enough info as to what is going on with your account and are too lazy to figure out how to help. Extremely frustrated and thought I would send in a review. All three agents except my last one gave me a ticket number and info as to what’s going on with my account.

I had frontier at my home and it was a disaster. The bill came and it was $40.00 higher than we were told. Supposedly all calls are recorded. Ours wasnt....? We would hold for up to 2 hours. And then we wrote to the.bbb and the.reply from frontier was we lied and the.lady that responded said we were past due and disgruntled customers. This 5 rating is for one thing and one thing only. The installer....MIKE! I decided to have it.installed in my new home and again installer MIKE...was amazing. All i can say is I hope I dont have to call customer service because i dont want to have to review again and give a big fat 1. Nice job install group. Keep up the good work.

You charge 20 for 6 mps and 47 for 12 mps are you crazy most places charge 39.99 for 50 mps you know like vyve internet or Comcast hell AT&T has better deals then this I feel sorry for anyone that gets sucked into your anal so called deals haha if you sale 6 mps they are reaslly only gonna get around 2.5 mps

I pay for a higher speed dsl through frontier and most days we can't even watch a streaming movie without being disconnected............I haven't been disconnect this many time since I used to have commonwealth telephone before frontier bought them.........buyer beware if you have any other option besides Frontier please jump on it !

So tired of being taken by companies like Frontier. The short and quick is everything about this company from the landline telephone, internet, and on to customer care deserves a 0.5 star at best. Long hold times on both voice and chat help. During a recent chat help, I was told they couldn't help me with my issue because there was an "outage in my area" and dropped the chat session before I could tell them mine was up buy slow and I had another issue to discuss. Frontier does not deserve any new customers. I recommend avoiding Frontier at all costs. Slowest and most unreliable internet speeds available after checking around. The pricing is high for the services offered. I will be looking to move to another provider soon.

The first time I had contact with Frontier when they took over, I finally had my mother call because it took over an hour on hold to get someone. Now I'm trying to cancel my mom's service because she is moving out of the service area. I call and click on the website chat. I'm #15 in the queue, finally get someone that transfers me to the retention team, the only way to cancel service. I'm #55 in the queue. Finally I get someone on the phone, it took 1 hour and 25 minutes total.
Now my boyfriend is trying to get his mom's service set up. They were supposed to arrive between 1 and 5. Never showed, he spent 30 minutes on hold and was told that the paperwork was never completed and the earliest they could schedule was a week and a half in the future. He explained that his mother could not go without phone service for that long. They were sorry, but couldn't do anything.

Frontier sucks!!! I can't even get them to update my equipment. Two laptops can not get on at the same time. I was paying $49.20 for years and now it is over $60.00 for nothing.

We moved to a new house and scheduled Frontier to install internet at our new location. They scheduled us 2 weeks out and gave us a window of 8am-5pm that they would arrive. I took off work to wait for them. After waiting all day- the technician shared that they had the wrong order and couldn’t do the job. After talking to a manager I was guaranteed that he would come back the following day at 8am to fix the problem. At 8am the technician texted saying he was still waiting for the order and would be over soon. Soon turned into all day- until finally the technician stopped responding altogether and never showed at all. This company does not care about their customers and shouldn’t have anyone’s business.

They do bait and switch on bundles.Just wait until you get the first bill. Watch out for in state long distance calls because certain area codes like 754 are not included in Florida.The have a manual that they get that info from and can't share it when you ask to see. And if you call to complain instead of fixing the problem they will try to sell you another service. Check out ConsumerAffairs and the BBB.The Attorney General in Florida and other states should investigate this company. A congressional hearing should be held.

I'm not sure that I have service as much as I don't have service. A ton of down time and particularly during daylight hours. Unbelievably frustrating. I certainly wouldn't be paying for this service if I had other service choices. I would assume Frontier knows that. The service people I have talked/chatted with are pleasant and nice - unfortunately, that doesn't make my internet work.

to write this review, which should tell you all you need to know about Frontier internet service. It's a complete joke. I am frequently unable to connect much of the day. When I do have a connection, speeds are super slow. I can take an hour to send an email with a 10 MB attachment because upload speeds are so slow. Customer service is friendly, but a joke. We have had line repair people sent to our home more times than I can count, without any successful resolution to our issues. The nanosecond that I have another internet provider option, I will be switching and canceling phone service.

Horrible internet service. They even increased my monthly bill when my internet doesn't even work most of the time. Not a day goes by where we don't loose service as it is so bad that we can't even check our emails some days and they now charge me even more? Where is my credit for all the days when we've had no service? Worst company ever!

I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and then this happen after being on hold for 1 hour 30 mins ( i have taken a screenshot of this long wait). We received a bill with the incorrect amount on bill. After we have agreed on the price MS Supervisor Ana stated that they will not honor the the suppose misquote. She stated she will have to pull up the call , but that will take a long time. If were misquoted then they ill honor amount for only 3 months. I feel this was a scam to get us to sign up fore new service . Originally all we wanted was internet only. When the gentleman told us the price with extra features we agreed to the terms. Supervisor Ana was unprofessional 8:05 pm , he hung up the phone at 9:20 pm )and hung up on us while we trying to be transfer to another department. We are just trying tofind a company with good service.

I will have to agree agree with some of the other reviews. Terrible service all the way around. First I am not getting speeds that they say you will get. not even close. Second they say one thing and then the bill says another, I have called 4 months in a row about a bill issue where they are overcharging me according to what they told me and each time it supposedly will be fixed and next month another hour call to customer service to try and fix. and now they tell me they told me wrong price that I can't get the offers they said I could and I can't go back to my old price because I switched off of it and it's no longer avail. But bottom line is the speed of service is terrible and there customer service is terrible. I will be switching as soon as I find another option.
