Freightcenter is nothing but a scam. They hid behind fine print and constantly charge hundreds of dollars after the fact for 'reclassification of packages' even though the weights and dims were verified prior to shipping. They also missed my delivery date by 4 days despite being reassured by the sales associate that the shipment would be on time. Complete and utter disgusting business practices. Look at any review site. You will see a bunch of quick obviously fake reviews hiding a laundry list of incredibly upset customers... DO NOT USE.

Felicia was wonderful. Great communication updated us regularly and helped me navigate the website however pick up that was scheduled between 1 and 6 never happened. Waited all day and then they showed up the next day when no one was home. No phone call. Nothing. We were trying to figure out how to set up another date when they showed up without any notice in the early evening the next night and luckily my husband was home for the pick up.

The person I spoke with was very informative and helpful with the process of shipping my freight and helped me get the best value. The distributor chosen was earlier than the scheduled time and the driver was very courteous and helpful as well however, the problem I am having now is talking to a live person to get an invoice for the service.

The booking process is very straight forward and easy to follow. The varied payment options as well as being able to choose from a selection of different couriers, depending on the destination or size of the parcel, are very useful. If there has ever been a problem, they have worked tirelessly and speedily to resolve it satisfactorily. Five stars and I highly recommend Freight Center to anyone. I placed my order and communication was perfect. Very helpful and informative and i was able to get it processed very quick and easy.
Simplicity is what i look for when creating big shipments and this is the best place to go. Extremely reliable and always willing to give 100% with everything you need a hand with. Customer Service was Excellent and i felt very safe and secure leaving my shipment in their hands.
After i placed my order, they contacted me with a price to transport which was better than i expected. I had a look around online and these guys were the best in the business! They also gave me pin point accurate delivery time and information. I got a confirmation call for when my item was going to be delivered with a time also. I could not be more satisfied with the service as it was my first time using a transportation company. They have never disappointed me and our shipment always arrives intact.
I would definitely recommend them to friends and family and would use them again in the near future. After dealing with many courier agents, finding Freight Center was like finding a Gold Mine. Their service is way beyond any service ever received. Nothing is a problem, everything is fixable, every member of staff is always eager to help in sometimes desperate situations. As a small growing business with limited resources it's great to have such a company to work as an extension, and manage our international logistics out in the big world. Their call center team are the ultimate professionals, and every time I call up with an issues they always manage to get bring me back down with a smiling voice and a polite and friendly attitude.
I felt their communication was first rate from start to finish. Honestly its the best international shipment we have EVER received, and we do this quite a lot. I do not understand why they have received some poor reviews, I would have 100% confidence in using them again anytime the need arises!
This company stands out from the rest. Their quote is fully inclusive and what they don't cover they tell you about and if you have any queries, they are answered immediately by any medium you choose (telephone/email/etc).
Overall, Excellent Service, Excellent Staff, Excellent Outcome. Best in the business and by far the most affordable. Looking forward to using you again in the near future. Thank you.

My experience with the FreightCenter was excellent! My packages that I sent from Pittsburgh, Ca to Marrero, LA made it there on the day the freightcenter said they would. I was very impressed and would recommend the FreightCenter to family and friends. Thanks for your great customer service!!!!!

We are wholesalers of jewelry. Everything we ship fits in very small boxes so we usually use only UPS and USPS.
The ONLY item we ship using a freight company is one large display that UPS always break into pieces so we decided to pay more and ship it freight.
We always ship just this specific display with the same exact measurements and shipped it many time times before using Freight Center so looking at all our past shipment with them, the same exact shipment, in the same class and the same measurements as in this time we shipped with them.
We received a quote for $250 and shipped the item. After a month we received an extra charge of approximately $250 saying that the item was more than double the weight we gave.
Obviously there was a mistake done and we tried to contact our Rep that was unprofessional. He said he submitted a claim in our name but we didn’t hear back from him and he didn’t answer our calls.
Only when we received a reminder about our “open balance” from Kim and I called her, she was the first professional and knowledgeable person in the company to actually be nice enough to try to help us solve this issue.
She said that no claim was submitted (like our rep claimed) and she helped us submit a claim.
Unfortunately, even after talking to her, we still didn’t get an update or even a response and found out they charged our card without our permission.
Today, 5 month later, we still didn’t hear anything back about our claim.
They fraudulently charged us $250 and we have no way to talk to anyone the dispute this charge.
We have been trying to solve this issue from November 2018, as we believed it was a human mistake that could be easily resolved and corrected and we have all the document supporting our claim along with all our past shipment, showing we only use them to ship one kind of shipment.
We also suggested to go back to where they shipped the item to and weigh the display if they don’t believe us or our documentation.
We are not asking to get anything but resolving this injustice situation that is so easy to prove wrong.

FreightCenter gets 5 "STARS", professional and good folks..... however.... one of their shippers SAIA gets "ZERO" stars!!! Have had 2 dealings with SAIA...BOTH where less than mediocre...!! In fact their service is down right HORRIBLE!!

After 2 months fighting still nothing. Initiating claims through my bank and lawyers. It is amazing how they allow to operate a company like this. Same story as many of you, they charge in advance a pre agreed amount and 5 weeks later an additional 60% saying the size is different and that has been verified by licensed freight inspector. Surprisingly when they picked up the weight said everything was ok, nothing to be worried.

We used FC for a 1 pallet shipment. We did not request a lift gate at the delivery address. Then the trucking company decides to deliver it with a lift gate. Then try to charge us $200+ for a liftgate we did not request.
Called both FC and YRC and no one know who requested and just trying to bill us for it.
Dont use this company they are just a 3rd party. Better to just go direct.

The only reason Im giving a star is because It won’t let me write a review with zero star.
Trucking company never showed up for 3 consecutive days, I had to call to re-schedule and they always had an excuse for not showing up, they always sided with the tucking company that was going to pick up my package.
In the end, I had to cancel it and they charged me 15%, even when it was their fault.
I scheduled it with UPS ONLINE and paid the same and they picked up next morning.
Very bad company to deal with.
