Absolute joke of a company. Useless and incompetent customer support . Avoid at all costs . Paid over £200 for an upgrade and received nothing .! RIP OFF !

I have been with Freestart since 2012, with my two websites having gone through numerous upgrades and changes over the past few years. If there is ever anything I am unsure of regarding the web site, a quick call or email to their support team puts my mind at ease. They nearly always have a solution for me, but if not, they make the effort to get an answer or solution from someone who can help. I am very proud of my sites as they look quite professional, which is due in part their designers who have a great eye for detail and brought forth a few ideas I would never have thought of.

Unbelievable service!!! took our payment, but we never got that website we ordered, year later they took again payment from our card, they said we got subscription with them!!!!???? Asked, what have you done for us so you take payment from us, they said- we have done nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had my website with freestart for a few years, unfortunately it just went down hill, I receive less enquiries an more junk mail an spam on a daily basis than I have ever had!
I have contacted the company but it has just escalated an now I don't know how to stop all the spamming.
Freestart contact me constantly asking me to pay more to improve my website but when I first joined it was fine since I have chosen not to pay extra it now has an unsafe sign above it which I now have to pay a lot of money to remove this.
Unfortunately I now wish I had set my website up with another company & feel I have wasted a lot of time an money.

Freestart are undeniably FANTASTIC. NO marketing or social media Keyword can substitute their hands-on proactive approach to everything they do! They built my website from scratch, they came up with the best flavour, tone, feel and concept that applied to my business and I am thrilled with the outcome. We have been working with Freestart since 2009. Our website is lovely. Very easy to update via the control panel and any issues we have are soon sorted out by the technical team.
Freestart do our optimization and keep us at the top of the page and at the top of Google maps
We are kept up to date with any new issue found on the internet.
The team members we have dealt with have always been very friendly and professional.

Have had site for a few years now. Took a lot of communication to get site sorted out, and once the basic template has been completed they are very reluctant to alter anything, even if it is their misinterpretation of the design asked for. Have had changes made and some have been very easy, but some email communications take far too long to get a response. All in all site is good, but considering that once everything is up and running there is nothing to do except maintain hosting it would be good if they could communicate more efficiently. It is also impossible to contact their CEO's (Earl Crooks). On the phone the staff are generally very helpful.

I can never seem to upload photos outside working hours. Spent all night tonight trying to change photos but they just won't upload. I then have to wait till opening hours to ask and it does get sorted and one of the reps in particular is really helpful . Initially I thought it must be me that is doing something wrong but this evening I have spent ages with no success. I have tried clearing browser history, going incognito etc which is what they tell me to do but still no luck. This is happening all the time so frustrating as I can not get on with anything. I am wondering if the website is not being maintained properly outside opening hours?
Finally sorted, took a bit of time but thank you so much Stu for all your patience and hard work sorting out the issue.

I have used Freestart for several years now to host my website and provide my Company with a domain name.
I have always found the staff to be courteous and professional at all times and the website stable and always available. On the few occasions I have had issues they have been resolved quickly and a full explanation for the issue was provided.
There are other providers out there but I would have no hesitation in recommending Freestart and would happily use again.

I was recommended Freestart from another Entertainments Agent who also uses them for his website We were having terrible trouble with our Website Providers Get Visible Web.com (who are truly appaling). They have been a breath of fresh air and have developed an amazing website We had a few teething problems with information being missed off etc. as we had a lot of stuff to go on it but they have bent over backwards to ensure that necessary corrections were made. We also wanted some changes to the order of tabs and they did that for us too. In fact they worked on our site until we were 100% happy with it and now we have overall control to update it ourselves. The old company Get Visible Web.com had a limit on the number of pages and had no drop downs, but now we have all this with Freestart, a link to our Facebook Page etc., links to the acts we supply I would highly recommend them.

I had problems with my website and after earlier miscommunication have been delighted with how I have been treated. The company have bent over backward to make sure I am happy. Wayne has been in contact with me most days just to check on progress and make sure Im happy. I would now recommend this company to anyone who wants a website.

We have an e commerce site with many products, after asking questions about whether or not they could import all the items from our site we were assured that they could do so, but after 3 weeks of waiting and chasing up they admitted that they could not do what they had promised.

Freestart have been very helpful and swift upgrading our Bags of Fun website, nothing was too much bother.
With so many people hiring bouncy castles and rodeo bulls it make it difficult to match prices etc. when your trying to do a professional job, that's why its important for people to know what type of service you can give, which I our other website didn't.
A special thanks to Yan who convinced me to go ahead, then to the team Jenny, Amy and their colleagues who actually done the job.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone , I am currently in the process of going on line with my business and it is very daunting starting a new website , I'm in my mid 50s and not in the least bit technical minded when it comes to computers , but the help and the support that I have received is amazing . The person that has helped me the most is Wayne he made everything so easy for me to understand , and explained everything to me in the simplest of terms so that has given me the confidence to carry out the workings of my website with ease , and also knowing the support is always just a phone call away . 5 star service highly recommend this company .

I have had a website with Freestart for approx 7 or more years and all was great..but every year they pester and bombard me for more and more money to digitalise this and upgrade that and because most of us do not understand the said terms we foolishly pay their extortionate and uneccessary costs and incedently they only contacted me by phone to ask for money and no aftercare questions! they never ask for money via email? Over the past few months we had a terminally ill family member who was given hours to live, freestart kept phoning asking me to pay £199 + vat and £99 + vat for some technical term for whatever. I begged them to leave me alone but they contacted me again and again even on the day we had the bereavement saying I needed to pay the money as GOOGLE charge them for these services and everyone has to pay these costs. I have since asked for a breakdown and explananation as to what they are asking me to pay for as I wanted to take the matter up directly with GOOGLE, but no one will comment and I asked for there complaints proceedure and who the ombudsman was for their industry, almost immediately a manager contacted me and said let me deal with your complaint etc but would not give me any details to complain about this shocking unrellentless hounding of me and possibly other customers to get hundreds of pounds from them, when most of these service are a few pounds to purchase and some are not even necessary. needless to say I informed him via email to cancel my £100 + vat annual renewal which is what their motto states WEBSITE £100 + VAT, what a joke.. I am taking the matter up with Google as a matter of urgency and looking elsewhere for a website! Adrian

To be honest this is the worst company I have ever dealt with, I've had so many problems and false promises. They take money out when they promise never to do it again but they keep on doing this. They say they won't keep my card details but obviously they do. I paid for a new update for cookies for my site that was over eight months ago heard nothing. I should change companies but I suffer from depression and I'm not in a right mood to start another site it takes ages to word it set it all out etc. Customer service for this company is non exsistant. My advice is look for another company
