There is definitely room for improvement!
- Unpleasant surprise on the first day of the holiday. Boat left 25 mins earlier than departure time and I was told that this happens from time to time so Fjord line can save money. It is all written in the terms and conditions. There is nothing they can do. No kind gesture, no refund whatsoever.
What happened that day was that I had some delay but I was still there 25 mins before departure time. Tried to contact someone at fjord line. I sent a message which wasn't answered. I had to contact them again. Ended up booking Colorline. We were luckly enough that they had a departure 1.5 hours after.
I was a loyal customer and I had used Fjord line before this so many imes before this experience but I will think about that again. Color line seems to be a more customer friendly alternative.

We booked a boat trip using a special deal. However, somewhere in the booking process something went wrong so we upon arrival at the ferry in Denmark we had to book the car separately and paid the regular ferry price of almost 400 euros instead of the special deal of around 200-250 euros. I contacted the customer service various times. At first to clarify the issue and later on to try to solve it. We requested the booking to be adjusted so we could get the special deal we intended to book, but they were not helpful at all. Nothing could be done and no compensation could be provided. Adjusting a booking and refunding the difference between the deal and the normal price shouldn't be that hard. Additionally, we were misinformed about the action; the customer service stated that it was not applicable to our trip, but later on rightfully pointed out and proved that this was incorrect. As a solution I would (have) like(d) to see the price difference restituted.
The board trip itself was OK.

I purchased fjord watch in Nov 2017 but the metal strap broken in Jun 2018 i send the watch for repairing but they replaced and charged Rs. 1500/- at the time delivery found that the lock they have not replaced it was used.
I emailed to them but nothing reply from their end.

When ordering my passage from Stavanger to Hirtshals for my car and another passenger, I did not know when I would be able to return. So while sailing I approached the reception on board the Bergensfjord and asked for information about the company's sailing plans from Hirtshals to Norway. The staff seemed utterly surprised at such a question and I had to leave without an answer. I find it astonishing that the reception did not have on offer the company's complete sailing plans as well as an invitation to book the return passage there and then, which should be entirely possible given modern communication and IT technology. Perhaps some routines could be improved here. As it happens I had to return to Norway by another company's ship.

Not very happy with Fjordline. First of all the Fjordcat is a ship that cannot sail with high waves. A lot of people were seasick, it was my worst travel experience ever. We decided to change our return booking to the MS Bergenfjord. This was perfect!
Only thing was that changing the ticket costed me more money than booking a new one so I ended with two tickets and lost a lot of money..
