First off I would like to say that all of the people leaving 1 star reviews did NOT read the TERMS AND CONDITIONS. It clearly states on there how much the shipping and handling will be (it's based off of how much your order subtotal is.) Yes, the quality can be bad at times, but no company is perfect. And YES YOU DO HAVE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING EVEN IF you return the item because they still had to pay postage to ship it to you(along with $6.95-7.95 to send it back.) And for those of you saying that they shipped it to the wrong address, please just have them double check your shipping address before you tell them it's okay to place the order. If the package does get shipped to the wrong address, just call in and BE POLITE to the customer service rep because then they will do everything they can to help you. It was most likely the mail-carrier's fault for taking it to the wrong place, not the companies. If you're rude to the customer service rep then they will NOT want to talk to you. Just remember that IF YOU DON'T WANT TO TALK TO THEM, THEY WON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU!
Shipping costs: THEY DON'T CARE HOW EXPENSIVE YOU THINK THE SHIPPING COSTS ARE--- if you don't like the shipping costs, then DON'T ORDER! They'll do just fine without you.
Next, just because of the fact that you "have been a customer for # of years" DOES NOT MATTER. If you don't pay your bills on time, then you get a late fee and that is that. This company does not help grow your credit, nor do they have a physical credit card anymore. They give you a rough estimate of a credit limit based off of your household income. YOU ARE PRE-APPROVED FOR A CERTAIN AMOUNT--- UNTIL FINAL CREDIT APPROVAL (which can and will change your credit limit based off of household income, etc.)!! Once you place an order, the credit department determines whether or not you need to make a down-payment (down-payments are normal, DON'T YELL AT CUSTOMER SERVICE just because you have to make a down payment... it's not their fault), if it gets cancelled, or if it ships out. The monthly payment number that you see IS JUST AN ESTIMATE--- IT CAN CHANGE! (as it says in the Terms & Conditions)
Next: Returning Items - Returns can take between 4-5 weeks during busy season, and 2-3 weeks during their normal season. Then you will be reimbursed for the order subtotal, and then you still owe them for shipping.
When you order something, keep in mind that they only ship on business days, so Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (before 12:00 p.m.) And to all the people saying they stole your money, they really didn't, you just don't understand how the system works.
To the people saying that you didn't order something and it got shipped to you: NEWS FLASH, you did order it, you probably just don't remember. If you really didn't order it then you probably gave someone your account info which wasn't smart.
TO THE PEOPLE COMPARING THEM TO AMAZON: they are NOT a trillion dollar company, they WILL NOT have free shipping unless there is a promo code out. If you love Amazon, then just order from them instead.
One more thing for the people that call in yelling and swearing: That is NOT GOING TO HELP YOU GET YOUR WAY AT ALL. Just be patient and polite and the CSR will help you! And if someone tells you they aren't able to do something, they really CAN'T, they ARE NOT lazy.
Seriously, read the TERMS AND CONDITIONS before you get mad next time.

I was a loyal customer with FIGIs over the past five years.
I always paid my bill on time or early. I placed about three to five orders every holiday season starting with Thanksgiving. The recipients seemed to like their gifts and it was convenient, with no interest until after March or April and I always had it paid off in time.
I first heard from them this year when I got a bill in the mail in June. I contacted them, but I knew something was wrong when I got the runaround. I was on hold for the account supervisor. Then after the second hold an employee came on and said she had gone home. I CALLED back the next morning. This supervisor told me the amount they asking was mostly interest and I had the unpaid balance of 11.26 dollars and the rest of that 59 dollars was interest.
I was very suspect by then and told her what I thought about it and the most I would send would be a check for the$11.26, which I did.
I sent a detailed email from my email address( the only like internal emails on their site). They called me the next morning. THAT representative had a different story. She said there were two other balances unpaid and she mentioned two completely different figures and also said there was interest added. I told her they were now making it up as they went along. I researched them online to find out they were out of business. All of this is fishy because I would not intentionally avoid paying a bill. There is no record of my purchases or payments on their site. I only did business on their site. I ALSO always went back to make sure my payment was zero. I had smaller orders this year and I paid in Feb and in MARCH. FIGIS does not have a good billing system and I think it is done to intentionally confuse people.
Now, this past week I got a notice from a credit collection agency. They say I owe $30.99. Now that is a completely different amount. Will this ever end. A company would never do this to a good customer. They must be desperate for money. I will have to write a few letters because I do not trust them. I think they target certain people. I am afraid they could really hurt my credit rating and they know that. They are trying to scare certain customers ( or former customers since they have gone out of business).
I am taking the time for this because I am sure other people are having this problem with them. TO trick people FIGIS gifts and catalog store is still in business. The food part of FIGIS is out of business.
I hope this information helps people and maybe I can get some useful feedback. Thank youi.

Anyone out there thinking of online shopping do not order from Figis' or Figi's gallery they are rip offs. They advertise one price and charge you more then advertised then charge a late fee saying you didn't pay on time after you made a payment on line and was told you had zero balance.

very disappointed in the customer service here at the gallery After 3attempts and 3 phone calls over 2 days time and a waste of time nothing got resolved and manager rep was very sarcastic and nasty I spent over 250 for a vacuum for my daughter with an extended warranty and she basically told me I never purchased the warranty and started fighting with me over it and when i told her I was unhappy with the customer service she basically told me to shop elsewhere I will not be purchasing another thing from the gallery so disgusted If people cant be courteous they should not work in customer service never mind being a manager!! using my hard earned money elsewhere and I have my paperwork now and will be getting help from the manufactuer because I DID purchase an extended warranty!!!

Stay Away from Figis Gallery. I have been trying for months to pay my bill online. The account number that is listed on the bill does not work on their website. I have called 6 times and get the run around on why they won't fix it. I resorted to paying over the phone. I authorized the minimum payment. Next thing I know they charged the ENTIRE balance which made my checking account bounce. I will NEVER order from them again.

I've no complaint concerning delivery, etc. My first order the cashew nuts were delicious and fresh but the next order wasn't as good and the nuts seemed old.
My serious complaint is their billing system, it needs serious updating. Also, my understanding is that they are closing. I received no notice nor have I received a current bill.

I wish I could give zero stars but anyway. This is a horrible company who shouldn’t even be in business. They stole money from my elderly grandmother and got away with it. They need to be put out of business. They also have crappy customer service. Nothing about them is good. The company and their crappy chocolate can go eat dog crap.

I placed an order on 2/8 and selected expedited shipping for the items to arrive on Valentines day. I got a confirmation email on 2/9 confirming my order and giving me an order #. I have tried several times to check the status of the order only to be told on the website that the order number is not valid. This is the order number that you sent me. I tried calling several times (and waiting on the phone for 6 hours). I finally got a CSR on the phone and she was not having a good day apparently because she was very short with me and kept telling me that i was giving her the wrong order number. She finally said that I would need to speak with a supervisor and she transferred me. After waiting for 1 hour and 37 minutes the call dropped. I am only upset because these were items for our Church outreach ministry that we do for the homeless, and I really wanted those items for them.

I beg you not to do business with this company. They are calling us, after we paid the 29.99 bill off, threatening us with a bad credit report. We have about a 750 credit rating. We, once again, mailed the 3.00 (three dollars) to them and asked never call here again. Buy at your own risk for over priced merchandise. I didn’t know my wife bought this before Christmas....today is April 8th.

Order was placed before deadline for Christmas delivery. Per website and catalog there was guaranteed delivery by Christmas. Order arrived 12/27/18. As soon as I saw the tracking information stating it was expected after Christmas I contacted company. Both customer service reps were rude and told me it wasn't their problem. Reported to BBB and Figis lied, stated that I placed order after deadline which was not true according to the chart on website and catalog. Will NEVER do business with this company again.

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! YOU WILL BE SCAMMED! THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME AN INSUFFICIENT FUNDS FEE STATING MY PAYMENT HAD BEEN RETURNED. WHEN I PROVIDED PROOF FROM BANK THAT THERE HAD BEEN NO NSF TRANSACTION ON MY ACCOUNT, THEY REFUSED TO TAKE THE FEE OFF THE ACCOUNT! I PAID OFF THE ACCOUNT, EXCEPT THE SCAM NSF CHARGE THEY ADDED, AND WILL DO NO FURTHER BUSINESS WITH THEM! TAKE HEED, THEY ARE SCAMMERS! Have been a customer for a couple of years and am really disappointed now!
Been told they closed down but want their money to hell with the screw ups of the charges and orders!was told that wed 02/19/19 they quit taking orders.
If you cant get help fixing issues quickly file a complaint with Attorney General Office in your state!

I placed two orders in December, 2018. One was received promptly, in good condition, with good products. After waiting a couple of weeks and not receiving the second, I contacted them. Long story short, I got bad information and conflicting answers from various people as I tried to sort this out and get my order shipped. I did eventually receive a refund for that second order; however, the information on the stub was inaccurate and it appeared there had been no communication between the accounting department and the so-called customer service people. In other words, Figi's basically acted in good faith, but their public contact people were clueless and none of them was willing to take responsibility for actually resolving the issue. I finally asked to be removed from their mailing list.
It now seems clear the turmoil was related to their imminent closing, though that is not an excuse. When I began receiving their new Gallery (?) catalog, I requested removal from that list as well. If anyone had been honest with me about what was happening or had taken responsibility for resolving my issue I might have been more open to at least finding out about their new venture. As it is, I don't want to do business with a company whose very name continues to remind me of this bad experience.

I made three different orders. Not only did they not add them into one account, they charged three separate late charges. I had to go out of town due to death in family & forgot a payment was due. I paid it all & will NEVER shop with them again. I had been buying xmas presents using Figi for many years. Way to go to lose a customer. Their items are very small for the purchase.

I ordered something for my cousin and it didn't get there in time. I ordered it Dec 11th and it didn't get there till Dec 22nd, which was too late he already left for his mom's house and won't be back till Jan 2nd. We were supposed to get a free gift,....well that never happened. We were given 4 different order numbers which we couldn't track because they were all wrong. All my family orders things during the holidays from Figis, not anymore because they all ordered this year and none of the items made it till after Christmas and some are still waiting for theirs. Bad business because their employees are telling me I never ordered on the 11th of Dec. Also she kept asking what my name was. This Company is history now, we thought we would give them one more chance but this year was the worse ever. Don't buy from this Company they don't have the slightest idea how to run a Company. I would actually give them no stars.

On December 12, I placed an order on the internet for a gift package for Christmas delivery to my sister in Buffalo, NY. On the afternoon of December 13 my husband and I left for Los Angeles to catch a Mexican Cruise from December 14 through the 21. At this point we had received no emails or phone calls from Figis about this order. After we had returned home, on December 22, I checked my phone calls and emails and nothing had arrived from Figis. I logged on to the Figis web page and found out "my order was canceled due to the credit approval process". To date, Figis has yet to explain why the order was canceled except for the above comment, or why they screwed over Christmas for both myself and my sister, or why they never notified me of the cancellation! Obviously, Figis could care less.. Well NO MORE!! I will never again do business with Figis and suggest that everyone else follow suit.

Figis stole from my 72 year old mother whom was trying to make my Christmas season a little brighter.
Figi substituted crap cheeses and low end sausage for a Ribeye while delivering $100 worth of product and charging her over $200. They didn't deliver two fudge wheels or a smoked Turkey breast.
Product quality has gone down hill severely since the buy out, you're best to not even bother trying to deal with customer service, they'll just hang up on you or put you on hold to never answer.
Corporate door slamming while rotating perishable stock not even ordered, you're in a sad state Figis.
