Horrendous manipulation of the truth coming from the CS rep. Brutish lack of consideration and foresight from the company. No refund given on a common mishap; I did not change reservation on time, mistakenly believing I had done so. Fandango lost an opportunity to have a movie patron and his large family as a continued client.

We have fandango now on our smart tv and I bought a season of an mtv show. To say that the function of this app is trash is an understatement. We have to exit the app completely to watch the next episode because it freezes and then errors out then have to relaunch the app go through the search and type in the entire title of the show because even though I've searched it at least 15 times it's not in a recent search or anything! Will never purchase anything else for them.

I bought tickets to a movie online with pay pal for a movie that was supposed to play in May. Due to Covid 19, they cancelled the movie . I received an email saying I received the refund, but when I went into pay pal , it had been cancelled by them ! I am now fighting with them to receive my refund!!! I will NEVER do business with this place again ! They lied and said it had been returned , pay pal told me they cancelled it !!!! Do yourself a favor, dont use them !!!!!

Apparently the attached image purchase went through. But I didn't realize and bought the tickets in-person assuming it didn't go through like the error label infers. I tried to get a refund and had to go from waiting in the chat queue for over half an hour to having to submit a complaint in another part of the website to even find the status of the refund request. Multiple follow up emails and still had no response for a month. Eventually was able to talk to a person that seemed understanding and hand me submit the bank statements proving the purchase and then denied the refund with no explanation. Highly unprofessional and was a super frustrating and time consuming process to go through. Be wary

When I got to the theater I was told they did not see my reservation. We bought tickets for bad seats up front. When I got home I saw that I had been charged for two seats that were later also sold to someone else. They refuse to refund me and I know that if someone would just look up ticket sales from that night they would see the tickets were double sold. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Accidentally bought a ticket for the incorrect day and used my $5 reward on that purchase. Called customer service to switch the day and they refused to reapply the $5 reward claiming it was non refundable. I would understand if I were not going to buy another ticket but I was literally purchasing a ticket for the exact same movie at the same time just for the following day. Really bad customer service, I don't plan on using fandango after this. what's the point of a reward system if you can't even use the reward.

Purchased tix for the wrong time. Charged a $23 Convenience Fee. Was told by the live chat operator that it could not be refunded; this is why there is a "review your order" prior to purchase AND if I need to review their policies to click on the link attached. Then when I asked to SPEAK to a manager, the operator said ok, they'll find a manager for me. Then some how i was mysteriously disconnected.

Fandango offers users who have accounts $5 off after every two movies but process for accessing the $5 is very confusing and makes no sense at all. I finally had to call fandango customer service to walk me through the process - which still didn't make sense. They obviously never bothered to do user testing when they set up the system. CSR was snooty and unprofessional. At least the supervisor I talked to admitted they've had other complaints.

I ORDERED TICKETS ON LINE BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS THE MOVIE THEATURE, TURNS OUT IT WAS THESE CON MEN. MADE THE MISTAKE OF CHARGING THE TICKETS TO MY VISA CARD. LOOKED IT OVER AND REALIZED THEY CHARGED ME DOUBLE THE COST OF THE TICKETS THAN WHAT THE BOX OFFICE CHARGES AND ASKED FOR A REFUND OF MY MONEY WHICH THEY HAD ABOUT A TOTAL OF MAYBE 5 MINUTES THEY GAVE ME A REFUND OF THE TICKET PRICE AND KEPT $12.00 SERVICE CHARGE. TRIED TO GET A REFUND OF THE ENTIRE AMOUNT BUT GOT NO WHERE AND JUST TO BAD WILL REFER YOU TO THE CORPERATE OFFICE-NEVER HEARD FROM THEM EITHER. IT JUST BURNS MY ASS THAT THESE CALIFORNIA PEOPLE WHO THINK THEY CAN SCREW YOU OUT OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND ITS NO BIG DEAL. ILL NEVER RECOMEND THEM TO ANYBODY. SO HERES A BIG MIDDLE FINGER TO YOU.

BE VERY CAREFUL WHAT YOU PURCHASE!!!
I was on a theater's website, clicked to buy tix, logged into my Fandango account, picked my seats, made my purchase and the website bought me tickets at a different theater!! Of course they weren't honored at the theater I went to with the kiddos... had to buy them again. Fandango cannot exchange after the movie starts so, SOL!!
I know it asks you to verify first but I never thought it was another theater. LOST MY MONEY!!

These guys will loot your money even when you don't opt for the service by charging convenience fee. I would not recommend anyone using this service, as Cinemark and AMC are giving full refund when you cancel the tickets. Customer service is horrible and they don't care about the members. Bogus company.

I bought tickets and the date they gave me was different from the one I put in and they refused to change it or give a refund. Had to pay again to see the movie in person when I noticed the tickets they gave me were wrong. Completely unhelpful staff that just sends copy pastes of company policy without actually trying to read or understand your problem. Please save your money and spend it anywhere else.

Just try literally any other streaming service. Had to reload the movie at least 25 times. Took us about 4hrs to watch a 2hr movie. Website is so trash. I can't stress this enough.

Everytime you buy a ticket, you have to pay a bunch of service fees. The "service" you get in return is a joke - long wait times over phone call and chat, unhelpful customer service reps, etc. I bought tickets to see a movie and when I arrived, the theater had projector issues so I was unable to see it. When I contacted Fandango about this, they REFUSED TO REFUND me. They kept the service fees!!!! How can they charge me for a product I did not receive?

I've been using the app for a couple of months and on my boyfriend's birthday I purchased tickets on the app. When we got to the theater and I pulled up my tickets on the app the app said "card not charged" so we had to purchase the tickets at the theater. The next day we find out our card was charged. I called customer service and they said there was nothing they can do... FOR THEIR APP'S MISTAKE?!?! You will lose money using this app so I dont recommend at all

Two words - "Soulless company." I'd also like to mention that Fandango is owned by Comcast and AT&T, so you should extend your outrage in their direction too. I'm personally going to avoid each of these companies for the rest of my life. I think they are all horrible, and they do NOT care about the customer-they care about money. I hope others will follow suit in giving these companies the cold shoulder.

Fandango's return system for tickets is flawed. When you pay for a purchase with partial Fandango credit and partial your own payment method, if you return that order, it all goes to credit. I tried to call to get the money returned to my original payment method and the customer service people had no idea. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and was left on hold forever. Hung up and now will stop using Fandango altogether. I'll even just eat the money I wasted that is now in Fandango credit - if it means I don't have to do business with this company.
