Bought a fork spring upgrade, was installed quickly and the mechanic took time to ensure rebound/preload etc. was correct for my style of riding. very happy with service from Mt wellington clearance store.good guys who know their stuff.

Helpful and friendly staff! I can't remember the names of the guys who helped me when I picked up my new bike and it's accessories at your Riccarton store but they were so nice. I didn't have a bike rack so they helped me disassemble the bike to fit it in my car.

Absolutely disgusting experience. My Cousin ordered a bike for my 2 old year daughter as a surprise. These guys marked the transaction as fraudulent as he got the payment gateway errors in the first few attempts and also because he ordered the bike on my name but credit cards were on his name.
Evo guys, didn't bother checking with him or me, moreover didn't even notify that they have done this. Daughter's birthday came and gone, and we were still waiting for the order to be processed. Finally called them up and without any remorse or regret, the guy bluntly said its a fraudulent transaction. Here is the order number 6054366
Pretty useless experience, can only imagine what would be the after sales experience when they do this before sales.

As I am someone who prices around I initially went to Evo Cycles because of the price point after already purchasing several items previously online and I was most impressed with the service and will continue to shop with Evo cycles if they keep the good service up as for us it is all about the service followed closely and price. I was most impressed by the manager - David - at Evo Constellation Drive. He listened to me, made a few phone calls, solved the problem, immediately took action and 20 minutes later I left with a smile on the dial. Best service I've ever had from Evo.

I bought a Giant Ebike from the Ellerslie store. It was never given a pre-delivery inspection, as the software wasn't up to date, and the battery was loose. I only found this out after the motor started to cut out and I returned the bike. 3 months later the motor still cuts out, I've taken it back again only to get a shoulder shrug and "can't find anything wrong with it".
The service team has a condescending attitude, they know best so don't question them. The problem is pushed back to me.
Spending $3.5k on a bike, you don't expect it to decide to not work 3-4 times per ride, and when taking the bike back with a fault I expect to be taken seriously. This fault may result in my injury if it cuts out at the wrong time.
I will never give these people my money again, and will actively discourage anyone I know from doing so.
UPDATE: Since the above, I've been contacted by Evo. They asked me to take the bike to the Britomart store, who have found and remedied the fault. Credit to Evo, once they realised I wasn't happy, they acted swiftly to remedy it.
Britomart = 5 Stars, Ellerslie = 1 Star, therefore I've revised my rating to 3 Stars.

Good staff who really know their stuff. I also like that they sell good bikes at a range of prices - I bought one of the reid bikes which are very cheap and I've been really happy with it.
