I trusted the caller since I ve been intending to contact Epcheal with the service I purchased six months ago and that it was very timely for the caller since the service was due to charge my account again and I needed cancel it and also express my disappointment. the next I knew the guy on the line convinced me that I should watch his refund transfer from his bank to my bank, then I looked at my checking activity having 1,500 deposit when he mentioned only 500 will be refunded, then the panicking drama ensue from the line that he made a huge mistake on the amount. That woke me up and I said I need to call your bank and my bank to clarify the validity of this transaction. in the meantime, I dawned on me that he will also be asking me to refund him 1,000.00 for his mistake. I called my bank and reported the fraud immediately. this guy managed to withdraw from my visa account, put it in my own savings acct, then transferred it to my checking. The !500 transfer I saw did not even show on my bank's account, and I was told, it was like a smoking mirror for me, only I can see it but it did not actually go to my checking account (the 1500) also, now my computer is inaccessible and am sure corrupt.

Got a call from Epcheal stating they have a computer problem and they need to refund $400. Asked for access to my computer, and, like an idiot I allowed them access. They then went through a bunch of computer programs and according to them they transferred $2,400 to my account in error. Wanted me to go, right then, to a Money Gram office and send them back the $2,000. I checked my bank account and there was a pending deposit for $2,400. I told the guy that I could not go to the Walmart MoneyGram right at this time, he kept pushing telling me I had to go now. I finally hung up on him. He is now holding my computer hostage; he put in a new password to my Windows and I cannot get into my computer. When I checked my bank account the next morning, I saw where $2,400 had been transferred out of my savings account to my checking account. the deposit the guy said was made yesterday did not show up today on my bank account. I realize this is a scam, apparently quite large. I need to know who to contact--the police, the FBI, help!!

This guy had my mother on the phone for almost 2 hours. He said that the company was going out of business and they had to refund everyone's money that they paid last year. They told her they had returned $850. instead of $400. They asked her to Moneygram the $450 back to them. We don't have Moneygram in our town so they asked her to get $450 in gift cards from our local store and send it to them through Itunes. It made me suspicious and I looked them up to see scam all over it. I told my mother to hang up. They somehow gained remote access to her computer as well so I unplugged it completely. They had to take the computer down to our computer repair place to get it all removed. $0 lost so far as long as they don't try accessing their bank account later on.
This Peter Ben gave an employee ID# of 8901764042706. He called from a California #(209) 227-1627.

I Was Called In December-They Said I'd Been Hacked When The Yahoo E-mail Was Hacked. They Said The FBI Was involved because the The Hackers Where Sending Obscene Material. I Received An E-mail from the FBI-Stating That By E-mail that my e-mail would be suspended. They Said They Would Fight Until they Won With Their Lawyers. Similar To [email protected] Now they contacted me to make arrangements to return my money - they convinced me they transferred too much money into my account so I needed to return a portion of it with a money gram. They never really put the money in my account. Rather They Kept Taking Money From One Account To Another. They keep contacting me wanting access to my account again. I Am A Senior Citizen On A Fixed income-They Always Had The Right Answers-Every Time I Questioned Them-To Make Me Feel Sorry For Them. I Was In Shock When I Saw What They Had Done.

In June 2016 I received a critical message on my computer that it (MAC) had been compromised and was directed immediately call a number for service support. Not being tech savvy and apparently naïve I did. They had 'all the right answers' and were somewhat pushy. I provided them remote access allowing several softwares to be downloaded and signed up for 'lifetime' service.
In reflection, consulting my work IT support, and accessing this report scam site I immediately canceled my credit card and asked for arbitration of the charge. I ended up being unable to stop the transaction.
Last month I received a call. “We see there is unauthorized activity on your computer. Please allow us to check to be sure nothing has been compromised.” I did not.
Today it was “we are no longer offering this service and would like to refund your purchase price and remove all software that had been previously installed.” They would not send anything in writing/email confirming the attempt and agreement to refund and their number came up as 'unknown.' I did not.
Then I called the company technical support directly and they said they do not contact or call their customers but are available for any support calls their customers might make. They confirmed the other efforts were definitely a scam and other customers had called to complain. They indicated that my contact number, purchase date, and information were available through online 'yellow pages'. I told them that I suspect they were a scam as well and that I would not be taking any calls or making any calls to them now or in the future.

In June 2016 wife's Chrome Book came up with an error message too and signed a contract the effect that it should not be shut down but to call 18442340854 for help. They walked us through a process where the error message was eliminated and asked if we had other computers which we said yes. They indicated that they were probably infected and they took control of the laptop and said I had a virus and it would cost $399.99 to fix. Gave them a credit card number and signed a contract on the computer form. They supposedly fixed the problem and called back today 12/20/16 indicating that the $399.99 was for the external protection of the computer, but I needed internal protection and showed me that there were 15 people that had hacked my computer. They wanted another $299.99 to fix it to which I reluctantly rejected to pay, but they kept telling me that I was being hacked for personal info. Finally hung up on them without making a payment or giving out my credit card number. There has been no other activity by them on my credit card since June 2016. I will call the local computer company to come out and fix any problems that may have been caused by EPCHEAL LLC as they put the icons on my desktop. One a cleaner, one a way to contact them by email, and the other, the third one to allow for a chat.

My computer was not working well - received message to call this company. I paid them money to fix my computer bit they charged me 3 separate times - this was months ago. Now they contacted me to make arrangements to return my money - they convinced me they transferred too much money into my account so I needed to return a portion of it with a money gram. They never really put the money in my account. They keep contacting me wanting access to my account again and they have blocked my computer so I cannot use it.

April of 2016 my screen went green and froze. there was a message requesting that I call 1-844-234-0854 and get EPCHEAL to repair the trojan horse virus that was infecting my laptop. I called the number and can't remember who I spoke with but I paid 99.99 to get started and another 249.99 for 3 years of protection. This is in usd. My computer screen froze and there was a message from my phone company and Microsoft telling me that my computer was crashing. Do not touch a single key on the keyboard or shut down you will lose everything. They had my phone IP address code. There was loud siren alarms going off on my computer. I called the number above as stated and they told me they worked for Microsoft and my computer is crashing. They had control of my computer and made me buy their virus protection or I would lose all my legal and other documents. I told them my computer is brand new and I had Sophos anti virus on their. They told me it wasn't working and I watched the screen as they quickly deleted Sophos from my computer. I called Microsoft afterwards and they told me they are inundated with the same calls about this company, They do not work for Microsoft. I changed my computer and email passwords and shut down my computer. They immediately sent me emails signing it from Microsoft but with Rachael co number. My phone was blowing up with calls from Detroit Michigan. My home phone was blowing up the next day. Their emails are requesting my new passwords. I brought my computer back to Staples to have them remove ePCHeal software safely and reinstall Sophos antivirus. I also filed a complaint about the charge with my credit card company.

I've always known anybody calling me up trying to "fix" my pc is a scam. However, my elderly mother was very gullible and believed their lies. I am absolutely outraged and I can't fight for her because it's something not tangible. They hide behind their phones and lies. Somebody take them down please.....

I got a message that took up the full screen of my computer. It said my PC had been infected and if I shut down, I would look vital data. So I called the number on the screen. They scammers offered me an antivirus program to resolve my computer problem. They led me to many different articles online about viruses. After a lot of talking (and my telling them that I thought perhaps their act was a scam), I finally agreed to be $299.99 for 6 years of their service. I checked out the scammers EPCHEAL LLC online and found them to be a legit company, so I thought I was okay. After further online research, I read a story from someone who had been scammed. The story was exactly what happened to me. That person who had been scammed said they fell for the scam about 2-3 months back and now the scammers have cleaned out their bank account and made many charges on their credit cards. I have replaced my credit card and will go to my bank tomorrow to change my bank account numbers. I don't know what else to do except to report it to every one I know and to do a whole lot of praying.
