Last year was our first year with Enlightium and we’re in love! We loved the flexibility an online education gave our family. We loved the God centered curriculum. We loved the kindness of the staff! Our boys are now going into 5th grade and we’re excited for year 2!

This school takes most of the worry off of you in the school year. I’ve been homeschooling for 12 years and found Enlightium Academy the most helpful. We started last year and we love it!

I love this program. We are new to EA and to homeschooling and Reshanna and the rest of the staff were amazing! I would most definitely recommend this class if you’re child has some challenges or you’re new to the program.

It's nice to have a school that cares not only about my son's grades but his walk with Christ. I love having his Bible class teach the same principles we teach in our home. God Bless Enlightium

This is a long one, just could not be short had much to say. I wanted to wait until we completed a full school year so that I could comment on each area.
I truly believe they are continuously BLESSED. I can tell thru the lessons, speaking with counselors, teachers and the administration staff that they are TRULY led by the Holy Spirit. No one is perfect but each person I have spoken to are kind, have plenty of patience, informative, joyful, helpful and encouraging. I found myself thinking I feel a closer relationship with ECA staff than I did with my previous school.
Initial research. Once decided to home school, searched and searched. Prayed and just when I was shutting down my laptop top, Enlightium Christian Academy popped up on the screen. I began reading and wanted to contact them to discuss in detail.
Interaction: I love exceptional customer service and to hold my hand at times when embarking on a huge change. Homeschooling and club sports for 1 going into middle school and 1 going to high school. My hand was held all the way through. Not one time did I feel I was being a bother or pressured or rushed. That alone gave me a great feeling. It wasn’t a sell job like the others. We even prayed. After discussing with my students who received a demo to test the waters. We were guided through the entire enrollment process.
Education: Powerful curriculum. Options of learning for every student!!! Amazed at how every subject is Christ-centered. My students were a little nervous but soon built a relationship with their teachers and utilized the resources available. They also enjoyed the learning tools & games. Immediately they noticed the curriculum was higher (they were in private school). They love the flexibility, working at their pace, they love the communication with their teachers and almost feel like they are the only students until a zoom session LOL. , they love the challenge and most of all they love working in pj’s on those cold winter days. Having teachers’ conferences for me was easy and open. I was able to discuss any concern receiving encouragement and ideas that help me and my students. The counselors are very good too. We had to make some adjustments and the counselors knew exactly what was needed and what to do to continue inspiring them and motivate them. We even received prayers and that says a lot!!! I’m amazed with such a large student base how they keep up with everybody.
Technology: Awesome!!! The tools that help monitor productive hours vs unproductive. The reports received each week. Quick email responses or phone calls. The parent portal that I used for my review/discussion with my students. This way I could get a jump on issues before they became an issue. I also logged in as my students to get a closer view and status. The ability to take their laptops when we travel for clubs and can just about work on an assignment anywhere. Never had a system hiccup, maintenance is scheduled with advance notice, the system did not give us any problems. Our wi-fi gave us issues here and there but never Ignitia. State testing was smooth and easy. My students never had any issues with zoom sessions. I am amazed at the technology and sturdiness.
So, we have re-enrolled and as you can tell, we are extremely satisfied with ECA. I didn’t even mention the accreditations which are more than many private schools. My students, as well as I, have been telling people who are looking for a change. Even when we are out during school hours and parents ask, they tell them it’s a great online school that sets you up for higher education
Cost: Very reasonable and affordable. Options to choose the best price for your budget.
ECA staff, GREAT JOB!!! Stay Blessed!!!

I love this school. My son has some serious depression issues over the loss of our older son. This school, with it's work at your own pace curriculum and their willingness to make accommodation for my child's depressive episodes, has been a Godsend.

This is a top notch school. The staff is an example of excellence that are second to none. We set up our daughter's high school plan with the high school counselor, Mrs. Benedict. She was SO helpful and encouraging. Her professional and friendly manner encouraged my daughter to aim high, reaching for her full potential. We are entering our second year at this school and are SO thankful for the blessing it has been in our lives. Thank you to all the staff at Enlightium!

Completed our first year with Enlightium and my 10 year old son got his best grades ever! I decided to pull him from public school for a Christian Education and this option was the most economical choice. I love that I can monitor his progress daily and I know which assignments are due and when. He can't pull the wool over my eyes anymore with I didn't know that was due. No, I don't have homework etc...When he had a meltdown he went to his room instead of bothering other kids and instead of the class moving on without him the work was still there when he was done with his fit. He realized having a tantrum just prolonged the assignment and didn't get him out of it as before. In turn, I learned how quickly he can pick up information and he actually was able to complete school in about three-four hours each day versus six. In the beginning we did have six, seven and even eight our days because he was having tantrums and not wanting to complete the work. We stuck with it and he loves it now and prefers the education to public school. He is glad he is going back for fifth grade. Enlightium makes it easy to be plugged in and you need to be. I could check on his work from my job through the parent portal or I would log in as him and see how he did and make any necessary pep talks or check-ins on my lunch hour. My husband is retired and the stay at home parent so I am lucky he can handle the schooling. Anytime it got rough I took over after I got home or we completed on the weekends but by the end of the year my son had more of a take charge get this done attitude on his own and he completed 2 weeks early with a high GPA. Thank you Enlightium!

What a great school! This was a smooth transition from public school to a private online school. Our daughter is learning so many essential life skills: independence, time management, self-advocacy (learning to get help when needed, reaching out to teachers via email/phone). This is such a refreshing change from the anxiety and distraction she experienced in public school. The teachers are personable and available. The customer service in this school is also extremely attentive- all concerns and questions answered within a few hours. Thank you for providing a solid, Christian based education for our child!

This program helped my daughter not only overcome trials in the classroom; it helped her do so in her personal life. She's has grown in confidence and pride. Her Bridge counselor and the lessons showed her that she is worthy. My daughter is on her way to becoming the strong, confident and independent woman I know she is capable of being. Thank you for the Bridge program and for caring about more than just grades.

2019-20 will be our second year and my son is going into the 7th grade. Overall, last year was good and the teachers were great. I really love the parent portal and the student's portal. My son was able to get started immediately and without issue. There are a few things EA might consider for students and parents:
1. Consider more student activities and contests, like the photo contest, so students can feel more like part of the EA community. Promotion of these contests, as well as better communicating about the participation such as how many participants/entries etc., who the winners were and the criteria to determine the winners, and maybe show pictures of submissions, if able, would be helpful. Student participation provides a sense of school involvement.
2. Maybe have a student fb page or something similar so students can become more interactive and feel part of a team/school community and EA can provide pertinent announcements and promote activities.
3. Consider adding to Student/Parent webpage information on: best practices, regulatory changes, tips, planning and organizational options for homeschooling. Some examples are; what activities or where students can go to have regular interactions /team building with other children (ie. sports as well as other options since some schools don't allow homeschoolers to participate in their sport programs), EA homeschooling success stories from families, how families celebrate graduates and/or honor roll students, interesting ways parents take student photos for each grade etc, and invite parents to assist and provide insight, experiences, and recommendations.
4. It would be helpful to have insight to: what EA does for graduations, the graduates, honor roll/scholar's list students, which colleges have accepted EA grads, and what activities and contests can students look forward to in the upcoming year (maybe a school calendar of student activities), when EA will send out report cards, info on new or returning enrollment etc. Just a few ideas.
Please note that EA may have some of this information available already and I am just not in the know.
Again, let me say that overall EA is great. These are just a few suggestions that I would find helpful and maybe a few others might as well. Looking forward to another great year.

We were reluctant of the program at first, but I can attest to it that it works, especially if you have a child that is not a self motivator, this is the program for them! We had a leader that was tough when she needed to be and understanding when necessary as well. She helped my daughter stay on track and graduate on time!!!

With today's society (not going to go too much into that) we decided and have always wanted to eventually enroll our child(ren) into a homeschooling program. After years of research and waiting for the right time - we fell upon Enlightium Academy. Enrolling our child into this program is one of the best decisions as parents we've made. So far, any contact with staff concerning any and all matters, have promptly been addressed and made understood and/or taken care of to our satisfaction as parents. Our child continuously enjoys her lessons and also continues to excel and succeed in every subject. This is our first year and we definitely plan on continuing with this school. 5 stars and 5 thumbs all the way up.

Enlightium Academy has been such a blessing for our family. We have completed two years of homeschooling, and just enrolled for our third. My son attended public school K-1st, and we started homeschooling in 2nd. We did the parent led primary 2nd grade curriculum, and then for 3rd grade he moved on to the online ignitia academy, and he LOVES it! My daughter will be doing the parent led kindergarten program this next school year. It takes some time to find your groove, and Enlightium has just made things so much easier for us in this process.

We tried another home-school course last year and were greatly underwhelmed so we decided to search for alternatives. Enlightium not only was half the cost of our last course, but double the enjoyment. They actually seemed to know what they were doing. Including this year we were doing pre-enrollment for next year and had an error on it. Tim the amazing Enrollment Consultant helped us through the online chat and made our worry a thing of the past.

Everything they do, glorifies the Lord!
I absolutely ADORE the curriculum that is Christ Centered. My children have become so excited about learning and that thrills my heart! My son went from public school making B's and C's to straight A's because he can work at his own pace, have individualized instruction and overall loves learning so much more!
We love the flexibility in what time we are able to complete their schoolwork.
The price is affordable, and the payment plans make it easy to ensure that I can provide the kind of education I believe will most glorify the Lord!
The staff is friendly and are available to answer any questions you may have. They are wonderful.

Enlightium Academy is Amazing! From Enrollment to helping out in everyway. I have a child with a learning disability and I am on the AIMS program and I thank God for that. It helps my daughter so much! Everyone at the school is already so great and helpful, but the AIMS program Really helps even further. I absolutely love the teachers as well... they are always looking to help. I believe the Lord placed us here...and I thank him sooo much for that! I would recommend Enlightium to ANYONE!!! They are Fantastic! Enlightium is not just a Blessing... Its a Family! Thank you all for making us a part of your family! - The Schumakers
