This site tricked me to put in money.
A month after i joined & work hard. System indicated that I have money to cash out but need to complete & activate my account in order to cash out my hard working money. So I did, but only to find out I have no money to cash out and have to wait for 90 days, then after that I can cash out. WTH, why did the system indicated that I have money to cash out & tricked me into activated my account and now said i have no money to cash out & have to wait for 90 days?

Automatically ups tiers without authorization and doesn't pay out
They tell you to protect your account using PayPal.
They tell you you have to post, sell and comment to earn money.
They tell you you have to hit your daily target and be on the top tier to be paid.
They don't ask for authorisation. They don't tell you when they are moving you up tiers.
Moving up tiers costs you.
They took $50 from my account without authorisation and when I queried why (because my empowr account was in credit) I was told it was my fault for not hitting daily targets, bullied for quearing it and encouraged to hit daily targets and not refunded.
They took rent money.
It is a pyramid scheme

They drag you in telling you will earn money by posting information and then when you give them your paypal account they deposit a small amount of money and then they take it out and start charging you $25 each month. They tell you earned $1,000's but then do not allow you to take all of the money out nor use it to buy any services with other users. A complete Sham.

I've Been working with empowr for about a year now. They required that I give them a credit card and my PayPal account information. I did not authorize them to pull any money out of my PayPal account, but they did. For no reason I could tell they took $250 out of my account. I asked them to return my money and they are ignoring my request. I ask PayPal to return this fraudulent charge and so far they have not returned my money. I have no reason why empowr would steal my money.

They charge me 9.99 to my PayPal for no reason and when I asked for a refund they deleted my account that had a balance of 122 that I earned, they did not send me an email explaining why my account was deleted or anything it just disappeared out of thin air!

It is MOST DEFINITELY A SCAM.
How do I know. I have been victimized by them
Back in February, just when I had about $7,000 of earnings ready to mature, I would have been able to cash out about $3,000 after paying down my ad platform fees.
Mysteriously, I was automatically upgraded to a higher power level and charged $3,000 for it even though I was not set up for automatic upgrades.
After 30 or 40 attempts to get support or management to fix it over a 45 day period, they told me my problem was resolved. It was not.
At that point I wasn’t sure if it was an honest error and that support just sucked.
As of the end of last month, I had about $3,800 of earnings ready to mature June 1. After paying off my ad credits of about $700, I would be able to cash out $3,000 June 1.
So what happened? As of a few days ago, my daily ad campaign was upped to $100 per day. This is after running $6 or 7 dollars per day for months. It is now about 6 or 7 days and support tells me they are too busy right now to work on it and my success coach hasn’t responded to any of my 10 messages.
So my matured earnings are set to be consumed by the new ad campaign so that I won’t be able to cash out again.
Empowr must have software that monitors people that have earnings that are going mature and then someone alters the settings to screw the citizen.
I have changed my ad campaign back to the Bronze option, which is $5 per day, but that didn’t change anything. Empowr has once again stolen money that I earned.
Also, don’t put anything up to sell. You don’t get the proceeds, It has to mature for 90 days before you can get it and you will never get it because Empowr will keep consuming your earnings that are maturing by bogus upgrades or exaggerated ad campaign amounts.

They say that the site is a democratic social site. Nothing could be further from the truth. First, the site doesw not have any links to their staff to deal with issues. There are no customer service contacts. That is a very bad sign.
They have success coaches which are ineffective. They quote procedures that do not work. The one thing that works is taking your money. Try to get it back when they do not deliver is a nightmare. I finally got a contact telephone number from my credit card company but they only take messages on that line. They do not want to deal with people probably because most people think they have been ripped off which is the case.
I asked for a refund and now I am blocked from the site. They stole the $1000 in revenue I had earned.
This is a dictatorship. Stay away. Do not give them any financial info.

I have sold Products and I have not received all money
I sell Products in the Marketplace, I sold many, In the past two Months, they have short changed me $1106. and March 2017 they only paid me $379.02 they Owed me $810.40. In April, they stated they would pay me $67.63, in which I have not received, and they Owe me $808. for my Products that were sold. Empowr collects the Money from the Buyer, and The seller, the problem is they forget to pay the seller, stating we are growing the community, more, this is a percentage of your Sales, though not all of your sales. They have a 90 Mature and my Products were 90 days matured. when you ask the Success Coach, to find out what is going on they ask you to leave that maybe this is not a good choice, come back later, etc, I became a Success Coach, also, in a different area, and still no answers, on my Money. Many Members, have the same Issues, never receiving their money. This once was Empower, Fanbox, and Now known as Empowr. Can you please help, I still have over $1697. Pending for my products that have sold, and I do not think I will ever see that either. I am no longer going to sell in their Marketplace, I have started to cancel the orders. Empowr had already collected members money, for my Products, so I dispute and ask them to refund. That goes into there Empowr Balance, where they need to wait 90 days to get. They charge people credit cards, they do technical problems all the time, and scramble everyone orders up, and pretend they cannot find your transaction. I will never sell in the marketplace again, I do not Trust them.

you have to buy stuff you want to want to meet their goals they make you pay from 25 dollars to 15.000 a month to add stuff to marketplace which people have to do to do your goals and charge you each add and turn down most ads so they make money off ads they refuse and adds they pass. The money they put in your bank they steal they stole over 300 in one week and they have you validate with pay pal or credit card so they can pillage that too and make it impossible to cash out they put a little in shopping for you then they freeze it and take it away then they stick you with coaches that get 10 percent of your money when you go to cash out they come up with a whole load of new fees so if it says you have a 193.00 cash out you have to pay them in 500 in fees and if you actually still have a few cents they make it impossible to get you have to get the mobile app and link with your account and does not for cash out the say they send cash outs key to phone and very very few able to do this and people wait for checks that they say they never get

I spent 5 months building a social network as outlined in their training videos. I built up what they called "earnings" which totaled $18,900.00. It says you must wait 90 days to be able to cash out. However, as the day of cash out approaches, the amount of money the take out of the "earnings" gets taken away for bogus fees. They also take more money every month for the privilege of build these imaginary "earnings" I then find out they are not earnings but credits. So the earnings credit not dollars. I heard from others who found that after a year they had still not reached the point of being able to cash out even a single penny. The customer support is nonexistent. The system to contact your "success coach" is not working 3/4 of the time and your coach only spouts the same wording that any robot could pump out. I am not even sure there are any success coaches as mine seemed so mindless that he didn't understand what I was asking about 90% of the time.

They closed my account without notification and owe me almost thirty thousand dollars.
Empowr is a new social democracy website. They are about 16 months old. Their site states a mission, one of which is to teach four billion people ( half the world) how to make twenty five dollars a day by the year 2025. They establish four criteria for daily goals, posting (such as pictures etc.) sharing ( commenting on other peoples pages) listing items for sale (auction or fixed price) and bidding on other peoples items. (In some ways this is like eBay but much more complicated). They have a starting level/basic and you may advance, by working your way up and or paying your way up. There are various criteria that earn you money and of course selling items is another way. Your earnings are tallied constantly and posted at the top of each message they send. This site is without question much more complicated than I am able to share succinctly here. One would have to study this to understand the intricacies involved. I started on or about 9/21/16 and on 1/14/17, I was on the site in the morning, came back after mailing some package to two people who had bought items from me, and I could not get on the site. No, I did not forget my password and if I had, they still would not send it. I know they closed me out. Now.....several days prior to all of this, I had written to them and asked politely how to slowly close down my account because of a new job I have and could no longer take the time to do what I had been doing on empowr. I knew I had auctions going, and items I had purchased etc. I wanted to know how to begin to stop all activity, make sure my commitments were covered etc. They did not respond. I wrote a second time and the same thing. By this time my account balance was well over twenty eight thousand dollars and with items owed me it would be thirty thousand minimum. They have a stipulation that earnings must be in the account 90 days prior to withdrawal. They call it maturation. I am fine with that but I say it is highly unusual to stop my access to my account with no explanation or warning and further, if they are shutting me out, they should waive the 90 day maturation and cash me out via paypal. That is my money. I spent a lot of my cash to buy products to sell on top of what I earned. The entire balance is mine and actually should still be growing slowly now. I wrote to their legal department immediately sent priority express on 01/18, the day they shut me down.

If you want a honest opinion stay away from this site. It's a 90 day scam and they keep scamming the existing users. They even withdraw cash from your bank account if you associate your credit card which is illegal but possible because you did agree with them.

Received quite a few spam e-mails from someone who is supposed 'to know me' but I don't know him, and that I'd receive $20 for joining empowr.
A short glimpse at the whois shows, that the owners are hiding behind private domain registration. For more details see http://www.whois.com/whois/empowr.com

You filed a claim with your bank in regards to a previous charge as unauthorized or fraudulent, which is why the account was removed.
For your safety, your empowr account was then deactivated to ensure that you would not be charged again. If you would like to receive a refund or retain your account please withdraw the dispute and update us as to the status within 48 hours.

I've registered on Empowr.com web site February 23 2016 after a friend has invited me, during the registration process they ask for either CCard or PayPal to validate account, I went ahead and used my PayPal account which I don't use or have any funds available. Empowr.com kept asking for another form to validate, so, on October 2016, I gave (bad idea) my credit card to validate the account etc. on November 21 2016, Empowr did then and there without my consent/permission/authorization/knowledge, charged $100.00 on my credit card. I've learned about this on Nov 22 2016, I immediately called my bank, cancelled the card, disputed the charges, reported as fraud and open an investigation.
