9 MONTH OLD INTEGRATED WASHER/DRYER BROKE 24/6/19
ENGINEER ATTENDED 25/6/19 FIXED BELT
AFTER ONE WASH ON THE 26/6/19 IT BROKE AGAIN, CONTACTED ENGINEER WHO ADVISED TO PUSH FOR A NEW MACHINE AS IT NEEDS A NEW DRUM, TUB AND BELT
I HAVE BEEN CONTACTING ELECTROLUX CUSTOMER SERVICES SINCE THE 26/6/19, IT IS NOW 12/7/19
MY HUSBAND AND I CALL NUMEROUS TIMES DAILY TO BE HELD ON FOR BETWEEN 30- 60MINS, SOMETIMES THE CALL CUTS OFF ON ITS OWN
ONE EPISODE I DID GET THROUGH THE OPERATOR WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND ACTUALLY HUNG UP ON ME
I HAVE LEFT NUMEROUS MESSAGES, NON HAVE BEEN ANSWERED
I HAVE LEFT NUMEROUS EMAILS TO WHICH I RECEIVE A REPLY SAYING I WILL BE CONTACTED TO WHICH I DO NOT
I WAS EVENTUALLY CONTACTED 10/7/19 TO WHICH I WAS TOLD I CAN HAVE A REPLACEMENT MACHINE
I TOLD THEM I WANT A REFUND AND COMPENSATION FOR THE ADDITIONAL COST OF WASHING AT LAUNDERETTES/FUEL/MILEAGE/PHONE CALLS AND MY TIME I HAVE WASTED ON THIS DUE TO THEIR EXTREMELY POOR COMMUNICATIONAND CUSTOMER SERVICE
I HAVE TOLD ELECTROLUX THIS IS NO LONGER AN OPTION AS I HAVE LOST COMPLETE FAITH IN THE ELECTROLUX CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM AS IF MY NEW MACHINE HAS ISSUES I CANNOT GO THROUGH THIS SITUATION AGAIN
I WAS TOLD TO EMAIL THEM ALL OF THIS
ELECTROLUX ALSO TOLD ME IT IS NOT THEM I WOULD SPEAK TO ABOUT A REFUND IT IS THE SUPPLIER (DOMESTIC AND GENERAL)
DOMESTIC AND GENERAL HAVE ASSURED ME BECAUSE IT IS OUTWITH THE 30 DAYS IT IS ELECTROLUX WHO NEED TO REFUND
I AM BEING PASSED FROM ONE COMPANY TO ANOTHER WITH NO SOLUTION
I EMAILED 10/7/19 AND I HAVE STILL NO RESPONSE
I HAVE CALLED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TODAY BEING HELP ON FOR OVER 30 MINS EACH TIME AND THEN THE LINE CUTS ME OFF
I AM STILL NO FURTHER FORWARD, I AM STILL NEEDING TO USE LAUNDERETTES I CANNOT AFFORD NOT TO MENTION THE INCONVIENENCE OF TAKING TWO SMALL CHILDREN TO LAUNDERETTES FOR HOURS AT A TIME
I AM AT A LOSS OF WHAT TO DO NEXT

Worst customer service I've experienced i am trying to make an enquiry about a part so i phone Electrolux and someone answered and quickly passed me through to another department where i waited 45 minutes on hold to then be told that he would pass me to another department than when the next person answers he told me i have to phone sales so he gave me the number for sales department and i called them a woman answered and said oh you have been put through to sales ill pass you through to parts then whilst on hold again the call got cut off.
SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE
after being passed about i then get through to someone who didnt seem the happiest, who told me the wait for the part is 70 days.
not happy at all.

Contacted Electrolux head office had a problem with my AEG extractor fan. Discovered it was obsolete, but was advised that the parts were still available. Encouraged to do a fixed price repair (£140), engineer came, guess what they can’t fix it. So I contacted them I get back £70, when I complain they are not interested. Next time i come to purchase an appliance that Electrolux produce no matter what the brand I will steer clear.

Truly awful customer care, actually down right rude. Avoid their cookers at all costs. Paid almost 700 euro for oven where you have to guess the temperature as it goes up by 50 degrees at a time per knob marking. When I contacted them and asked how to judge temperature for baking I was told it's not really meant for that! Was also told that "everyone knows these ovens need separate thermometer". Deciding I was defeated at this stage I decided to cut my losses and asked did they sell thermometer for baking but was bluntly told no. I have never encountered such rudeness and indifference from a company. Buyer beware!

I moved into a new house and in the kitchen were fitted electrolux goods, double oven, fridge freezer, hob, extractor etc.
Move on 2 years and I've found that the plating on the rack in the grill pan is disappearing so that the rungs are now bare copper. I sent a message to their customer care department via their website and got no response so after about a week I sent another one. Still no response. I guess they could not care less. I suggest you avoid this company.
Update...Electrolux replied asking for lots of details and photos of the grill which I duly supplied. They then replied by saying:-

Having noted your comments, I recognise your reasons for contacting this company.
I am concerned to learn of the problems that you have experienced with your appliance, and appreciate this will have been a source of disappointment to you.
Whilst Electrolux makes every effort to ensure that products are manufactured to the highest standard, it is possible for failures to occur from time to time. Nonetheless, this company does give sympathetic consideration to requests for assistance with the cost of parts.
Taking into account the age of your appliance, I regret I am unable to send out a free of charge grill
May I offer my apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused, and despite recent events trust you will not be deterred from considering Electrolux products in the future.
I trust the above will assist you with your query and if you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Care Department on 03445 613 613.
So there it is... it seems electrolux seem to think it is acceptable for the chrome finish to come off their grills within 3 years. Would I buy a replacement grill which will only last a couple of years - No! Would I use their products again....not a chance!
Avoid at all costs.....!

Thank you so much Nynge for your great service and understanding. I went to their website and purchased 3 products and signed up for their membership. After i had placed an order i saw that i had ordered the wrong size of plates. I contacted them and despite of the fact that they had already packed and almost shipped my order, it was no problem for them to change it. And of course i also saved a lot of money compared to other stores, as these weren't exactly cheap items. Definitely not the last time i shop on Nynge.com!
