I began having issues with my Eargos about 4 months in. First, the charger had to be replaced. No big deal, that happens... Then after 9 months, my right ear began doing things like restarting for no reason, I dealt with support and they gave me "things to try" to fix the problem which continued but somewhat intermittently. Then one of the Eargos got louder or the other one got softer. The point is, the volumes changed on one of the units. So I called again and they gave me some "things to try." Again, initially seemed to work of work, but not really. At this point, I should have demanded full replacements, but I was trying to be a nice guy about it. Okay, I'm a dork! Finally about 2 months out of warranty, my right one died completely. Did they offer a replacement? Sure, but at half the cost of an original, NOT for free even though they knew I'd been having problems with them both!! So like a dork, I bought the right ear replacement. (Mind you, I'm still paying the financing of the original pair!!) Then this morning my left one which has been only lasting 8 hours and giving me fits charging for months now, has ceased to charge. Thanks, EARGO! Meantime, I won't be done paying for these until March! Share this if you know of anyone needing hearing aids.
