Been with the company for over 15 years, I stayed because all companies suck in Canada and it wasn't worth the effort. I am leaving because they literally frustrated me too many times with hidden fees, hidden rules, stupid requirements, lack of acknowledgement and respect for longtime customers. They refused to give me a temporary suspension for longer than 6 months, but I'm out travelling in Europe... so f*** you Rogers.
I'd never recommend them to anyone, but...honestly, what cellphone company is actually good in Canada? We're barely doing okay with internet, but finally we have some smaller companies coming out with fairer prices and better options.. (barely).

Rogers is an abusive company that exploits the law to the maximum to get money from their clients pockets without consent. I ask them to stop data when I hit my limit and they refuse to stop before overcharging me $50. Shame on you abusive Telco. Shame on you CRTC!

Very bad. Their unlimited? Nahhh way too bad. I got the 10gb unlimited one ($75 since I use my own phone) . I am on my 5 gb of usage but already experiencing TERRIBLE LAGS. Mind you, TERRIBLE TO THE EXTENT THAT I’D LOVE TO BREAK MY PHONE. Seriously rogers? I transferred on your network because i hate experiencing lags especially on games. But seriously ? You are way terrible than chatr! Whom of you guys transferred to BELL network? Is it better? Please let me know. I’d love to transfer

DO NOT EVER GO WITH ROGERS. They are a total ripp off! I only went back after 20 years because of free phone and 30% discount with corporate plan. Try getting the $50 credit for friend referral, you will have to run around in circles. Never mind the 30% discount, they will tell you all kind of stories to try and cheat you out of it. Go with anyone else but ROGERS!

Started off a bit slow but my grandparents just got their ignite TV and thankfully this tech was super patient. Like he was here a long time with how many questions they had and he didn't seem at all bothered by their questions. Top notch customer service, thanks Rajeev.

Beware Rogers customer service when you call them make sure try to record all conversation they lying to customer and not providing service they promised for and when you call them they denied what they said or promised to you. It happened to me twice in couple of months. First I ordered Rogers bundle to my in-laws with two cable receiver and they start charging for second receiver and when I call they denied and said your bundle included only one receiver!!! It happened again and this time for myself I upgrade my internet from 150 MBPS to 500 and some reason I call them and one of the technicians told me I had 300 mbps my internet speed!!!

I don’t know what is wrong with their gibibyte (GiB) it doesn’t last half of the month and then they will tell you to buy more and when you do, it will end in three days, I don’t watch YouTube, watch online videos from my cellular or download any Videos with it but it still ends in half a month . I pay double because of this. This is WRONG!

I was stuck in a 3 hour call with a rep that had no idea about what deals he was offering, he offered me three deals that he would retract last minute having wasted 3 hours of my time and then the call was cut off and he made no attempt to call me back. To say I was frustrated is a huge understatement. I called back and for 2 more hours I was stuck trying to re explain the entire situation as that previous rep didn’t make any notes on our conversation, which is extremely suspicious. In the end of that conversation I was told nothing at all can be done, that first conversation will not be looked into and I was laughed off. They have records of the calls for a reason and I want to know why those deals would ever be offered to begin with and instead of following through and looking into it I was told it wouldn’t do anything to get that person looked into. And how after 5 hours of my time being so utterly wasted and being treated so poorly I was laughed off. This is disgusting customer service.

I'd give ZERO stars if possible! They were supposed to show between 8am and 10am. Showed up 20 minutes after 10 then proceeded to cancel the appointment. Can't even keep a scheduled appointment!!! What a bunch of useless gas bags!

I changed my plan to the unlimited, the First Lady I taked to me explained it to the point where I thought I was gonna pay more, second guy explained I will be paying less and with it will be 109$ a month per line for 10gb, then I had an issue with my bill because it was supposed to start on the next month but it read that I was already on it, so it never told me my data properly, I then went over on data, when I called they refunded but I had to wait for over an hour to get it figured out plus multiple phone calls, then I got a bill for around 600$ and when I called the guy said well cause you upgraded plans there’s a difference in phone prices, so I had to pay out 240-250$ I then said wel I can’t pay that up front soo I don’t wanna be on this plan. He said no you can pay it off over the next year, soo if I put 20-30$ extra on every bill it’ll be fine and no deprivations, so I paid 30$ over on my last bill, then I got an email saying I am gonna be charged 35$ for lateness. I was not late, I should not be getting this email. Your company is responsible for giving the right information, then when I talked on the phone, the lady was not helpful at all and explained that I now have to call every month and wait 1 hour every single time, I’m very mad That every step of the way all your employees have given me wrong information and I have to suffer from it. It’s your fault. Not mine! Look at my phone calls. I am wanting to let other know about this situation, because I feel very taken advantage of and I do not deserve this.

The worst internet provider to exist, I can’t play on my PS4 without getting 60-70 ping on any game so first off horrible for gaming, second off I can’t go to any other room on my house or else my connection drops, constant lag spikes and inconsistency, if more then 1 person is on the wifi at the same time it’s useless as you will start to lose connection the only time I can even get decent connection is late at night when everyone is sleeping and even then the connection is still subpar, horrible customer service, it’s almost like they don’t care about us. If I could rate this a 0 I would, even then a zero is being nice. Overall -4/10. Horrible provider would not recommend for anyone.

I have lost all Rogers service two times in a week for over 4 hrs each time. They can never tell you when service will be restored and they never say anything about reimbursement or even a quick apology.
The problem is that Rogers and Bell have a monopoly and we have no were else to turn to for service.

By far the worst customer experience I have ever had with a company. Every month talk to a rep and they promise to fix the issue, next month same problem. Reps are nice and apologize but the issue keeps repeating. Absolutely horrible customer service!!!!! I had internet, tv and phone with them. I will never use Rogers again or recommend them.

Bills are never correct so dont do direct debit!
Your personal data is never captured correctly.
They somehow manager to put your account in someone else's name and you can do nothing on your own account as such but billing looks like it is your account... all done without your knowledge and authorization. This takes months of wasted time to fix and no compensation... office of the president sends an email with a phone number that no one responds to.
Then they get rude with you and try to convince you there is a rational reason for the nonsense. If you dont buy that excuse, they keep throwing random excuses at you. It is a whole job to deal with them.
The list goes on. Avoid Avoid Avoid!
I would give negative stars to Rogers if that were possible!

1. I got upgrade to ignite service, Last Thursday, technician came for almost 3 hours, cannot get any signal for unknown reason so he put back on my old modem. He said he will get a senior technician come to me. But he did not , if i dont phone rogers, i dont even know there is no appoinment for me.
2. After two days(Sunday) my internet was down. I contact them, they told me my old service is off, because i have new one. I told him my new service did not setup, they said i need senior technician come to me. At that time i realize i dont even have appointment made by last technician. I said ok, BUT AT LEAST RE-OPEN MY OLD SERVICE BEFORE NEW SERVICE SETUP, They said they cannot do that.
3. I know you guys made mistakes, but it's fine if everything can be setup after. Then i made an appointment on Wednesday 12-2,BUT NO ONE CAME AND NO ONE EVEN CONTACT ME.

If I tried to explain everything that went wrong with the service I would end up writing an entire novel. What I recommend: if you’re with Rogers switch to another provider IMMEDIATELY, they’re whole business is a money grab and I promise you you’re not getting the deal you think you are. Rogers rating in Minus 100, -100. I think someone should develop a rating in which you can give negative star ratings, as Rogers deserve -100
I guess the bigger the company they won't care at all for the customers anymore.
I wish I've not signed up for two year contract, now I am stuck with them. They charge multiple bills and still saying that I owe them money. I've all the proofs but they will not listen. I hope there is someone who may guide to get rid of Rogers services or fix this issue. As I am going to put in my will that never ever deal with this company.

Terrible phone company! Won’t advise anyone to sign with these guys. Imagine I called these people to find out what deals and offers they have on the bring your own phone plan, the guy was very nice and give me a quote for $75 per month with all the cool features, long story short I took the plan and he explained to me that the first month would be a little high because of the activation fee. So my first bill came in at $233 so I called them to find out why my bill is so high, their going to tell me they charged me for 2 months and there’s nothing they could do and that other phone companies does the same like what the hell, I didn’t ask anything about other phone companies I wanted to get it all cleared. If I’d only know this from day one I won’t even think about taking your services and half the time my signal would cut off. Rogers won’t get another dollar from me..! I wish I could have given 0 star.

Roger's is a perfect example of what happens when theres a monopoly in a business sector. Unfortunately Bell is not a provider in my area. I have to say Roger's has to be one of the most discusting companies in all of Canada. They will steal your money unless you pay attention to your bill. They will provide you with services they know are less then par. There call center is horrible. There poor employees don't receive proper training . I dont blame the technicians or the call center employees. I blame those discusting corporate big wigs. I can not share my story because I dont have 1. I have about 100 of them and dont know where to start. Give your business to ANYONE BUT ROGERS COMMUNICATIONS.

RANT - Rogers Wireless Sucks! I work in Lamont, Rogers has NO service in Lamont. Two years ago Rogers started offering this EXT (extended use) it automatically switches to EXT when you are out of their service area and shows an EXT on your phone where LTE usually is....after 2 years they have blocked me from using EXT because 75% of my usage is in the EXT area...how does that make sense? I don't have a choice on whether or not to use EXT it switches automatically... Rogers customer service, and their wireless network SUCKS..they are actually the worst! I do have wifi tho...I will pay for a phone with ROGERS that is useless until my contract expires and then no more. Have a nice day to all of you that can see this because you don't use ROGERs!
