Thought I was buying a monito direct from Lenovo. That was 5 weeks ago and nothing received. Looks as if it was lost in transit but they just want to carry out investigations. They requested I sign an affidavit which I did. But weeks later still nothing. The customer services are the most inept and incompetent shower I have ever had dealings with. As with others just shunted from one useless operator to another useless supervisor. Prices look good but not worth the hassle. Wish I had read these reviews before purchasing, but then I thought I was buying from Lenovo.

Digital River have succeeded only if your measure is providing unequivocally the worst service you will ever encounter.
You can expect the following:
Long delays +- 6 days to answer emailed questions.
No accountability or mechanism for upgrading disputes or complaints (I was told that decisions were reviewed by, I quote "the relevant department". When further queried for the name of this department I was told "it is a higher power" with whom there is no way for me to contact or other wise engage with.
Some of your emails will be ignored outright and remain unanswered.
Other emails will be answered with a topic that bears not the slightest relation to your topic / question.
Repeated emails and those marked urgent may or may not be answered.
No single email request was answered within a 72 hour period (bear this in mind if you have an urgent request).
No person you speak to on the phone will have any ability to give you meaningful or accurate information.
Information provided via a real person over telephone is likely to completely contradict information provided in emails.
I would suggest avoid at all costs.

They took 60$ from my paypal and I never heard of them or signed up for there services ever. They are doing it to multiple people paypals online, look it up. Hopefully I can get my money back. :(

Very inefficient and ineffective system. Previously I was unable to pay using my debit card despite all other traders accepting details with NO problem - for example finally ESRI's office staff charged my debit card. I am disappointed that Lenove etc use them.

I ordered a battery for my laptop over a year ago. It turned out to be the wrong one (happy to share the blame for that I could have checked more). They agreed I could return it, each time I try and return it I get a mail asking me why I'm returning it. This has been going around and around for over a year. The item is still unused and in its original packaging. ready to return. This is going to cost me £100 for which I'll get nothing.

They put a 10 day "reserve" on £74.99 on my credit card without any warning, without my permission and my card went on negative balance. For an order that I never placed with them. After numerous emails and complaints they responded "Your refund is on its way and you should receive it within 5-7 business days". 11 working days after and still not refund! They NEVER refund the money fraudulently taken! Their "30 days money back guarantee" is just a joke! I have asked my bank to block any further attempts from AVAST or Digital River and to refund the money. This review Is going to be posted on other websites as well, people need to know and stay away. They might do some legal e-commerce as well but they I understand that many others were scammed just like me.

I bought a Roxio video converter via Digital River, Ireland. It didn't work, and Corel, the Roxio parent company, gave me the runaround when I contacted their customer support. Links they sent didn't work, answers to my questions were in template form. Over and over the same template.
I contacted Digital River customer support. The order number on my invoice and the order number from my account debit came back as "not found". Several emails to them remained unanswered.
Finally, after having badgered Corel with 10 or more emails, I received one that said I would get a refund. That was 10 days ago.
Do not buy any Corel product nor anything from Digital River.
They are crooks.

Software didn't work - no response to requests for help.
Unable to cancel payment,no response from Digital River website. I thought I was a careful shopper but I was caught out by scam reviews. Now I face a problem cancelling the renewal next year. I will NEVER trust DR or a German software re-seller again.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER EVER EVER! If you have a Problem with your newly bought lenovo, for example because it encrypted itself after 3 month of usage and there is NO WAY of decryption possible or because the camera is not working then forget about a helpful customer service. They just refuse any help and hope that you‘ll give up. Avoid at all costs!

I just agree, Digital River is the worst service provider I have ever dealed with. My payed order was automatically canceled after 30 days, Contact via email and phone were useless and my tickets were systematically delayed.

Be wary of using Digital River. I signed up to buy Trend security software only to find Trend uses Digital River as its dodgy agent to bill me without any reference to Trend. You cannot contact Digital River directly, only via its website which looks like a Russian scam. Digital River failed to respond to eight requests to explain the nature of the invoice on my credit card, by which time, I had cancelled my credit card in the expectation that Digital River was a scam and would be billing me regularly.

They have just taken £61.99 from my credit card, I contacted my card provider and they said they did the same last year. No idea what it is for and no response from Digital River. Do not use them, and certainly check to make sure there is no recurring payment. No phone number to contact etc. I am down over £120 over 2 years with no explanation, and no information on what I am paying for.

Really disappointed that Kaspersky, a company I have used for many years and trusted, have chosen to work with these awful scam artists. You are signed up to a renewal but when you try and cancel they just ignore you and renew anyway. I'm having to close my PayPal account to stop them renewing again next year. An absolute farce and an awful, awful company.

I received an email from Pay Pal this morning saying that I had authorised a payment to DigitalRiver for £59.99. I contacted Pay Pal immediately saying I hadn't authorised this payment but they have responded (in less than 6 hours) to say they have investigated my complaint and the payment to DigitalRiver was authorised.Now I'm out of pocket and what am I going to get for this money, not a lot I suspect!!!

This company is not contactable and have built-in loops in their systems to stop you cancelling. BEWARE.

I bought ThinkPad tablet x1 gen 3 it cost me around £2000 with top spec.
quality is questionable my tablet stopped working after 23 days of receiving it. Shocking knowing that it past some military test.
Lenovo with partner River Ireland has extremely bad customer service. It looks like they are armatures trying to get peace of the market by not looking at their customers. Just selling goods and services and ignoring us. Like dishonest people do.
My journey with Lenovo and River Ireland started on 1 march 2019 (bought tablet from Lenovo.com web. But invoices are from River Ireland) when I place an order. Tablet received around 12 march 2019. Tablet stopped working 4 April 2019. Called to Lenovo tech. support I was advised that they can collect and fix it. But i wanted full refund because I believe it's not to satisfactory quality (stop working in 23 day). Advised to go to River Ireland but no result they were sending me forwards and backwords through departments till this day 08 May 2019.
My advice to you forget that Lenovo and digital river ireland ltd that they exist it is frustrating for you to get it sorted when they give a dam about you.
I will never buy again from them and if i will see that someone is partners with Digital River Ireland LTD i will cancel my order straight away. I advise for you to do same.
