I have been using this service for more than 4 years, and still, it has not disappointed me. Music library contains enough music (some I won't find in different services). The only one this that frustrates me is suggested music or playlists. Sometimes it is really has nothing to do with my preferences.

Have been using this now for about 2 years and have the family account. I honestly would not want to be without it, its so easy to have all your music in one place and new albums the day they are released. Also a really great choice of older
Audio quality is great at the higher bit rate and the app is OK but sometimes moving from one function to another can involve a lot of screen exiting. If the prices were a bit lower it would get 5 stars.

When I signed up for a three month trial I accidentally entered the wrong email address.
So, I thought all I had to do was contact their customer service to rectify the situation.
How wrong I was!
I have now messaged them FOUR times without a single response. This is scandulous! They have my credit card details, I can't deactivate the account because they want to send a link to the email address that I can't access.
I don't know what else to do except cancel my credit card because I know the thieves will try and take my money when the trial is over!
Please, save your sanity and give this excuse of a company a very WIDE BERTH!
The sound quality of TIDAL is vastly superior and they have a much better music catalogue.
End of rant! I'd have given them minus five stars if I could 😭

I have never seen a thing like this. I accessed to their website for trial and i did not like their tracks because many were not flac or HI-FI as they call in this site. So seeing this very bad i decided to cancel my plan and remove my account. I tried for some hours but it is very difficult to remove your account because every time you access to their website with user and password those are always wrong. So you can reset password if they send you an email but the problem they do not send you often any email. After i have accessed with my account with big problems i was able to cancel my account but i am not sure because they did not send me any confirmation via email after some hours as they had told. I gave one star because i was not able to give 0 star. Stay away from this bad company and do not trust of them.

They have the worst support I messaged on Sunday about my subscription I am awaiting a new card so I bought a gift card in advance anticipating my new card wouldn't arrive before my next bill was due! After buying the gift card it said I bought a premium plan no I bought a gift card! I messaged support as I was currently on family plan they assured me I'm on the family plan! Low and behold the bill came as I have no card I thought as most people would that my gift card balance would cover this month but nope I now have no plan! I was told I can get the family plan with my gift card by replying to them which I did now it's 2 days later and I have no plan nothing! And I've sent two more messages which they haven't replied to!
Also their music selection is pretty average no where near as good as their bigger rivals!

Worst customer service ever. First contact with customer service end of June due to a problem with the update of payment details. Was told they had fixed the problem and that I would be able to change payment details 24 hours later. I wasn’t. Second contact followed. Customer service started from square one and ignored the previous contact. It took some time to make them realise that this was the second time around. Finally, I was told the problem had been fixed and that after a 24 hours wait, I’d be able to update my payment details. I wasn’t. So third contact to customer service. Result: I was told to cancel my account and create a new one. Thank you for wasting my time Deezer. And goodbye. It’s been lovely, but now it’s clearly time for me to leave.

I recommend that you don't use Deezer nor buy a subscription from Deezer unless you have enough money to not worry about if your money gets stolen, either. Because Deezer stopped caring about quality and reliable customer support service. People have had their money stolen from Deezer. Quality from Deezer is decreasing because it's getting harder to find songs that are truly lossless when Deezer is replacing lossless music with lossy MP3 songs that are disguised as lossless. Lyrics are not always accurate from songs on Deezer, which is why I know there are incompetent employees who work at Deezer. Good luck trying to reset your password because Deezer has made it harder for you to get you back into your Deezer account now. You might as well tell your bank to prevent Deezer from taking your money in case you can't get into your Deezer account because the customer support service on Deezer sucks sometimes. Deezer's customer support service website is not privacy friendly because you have to have to use certain I.P. addresses, internet browsers, and internet browser settings to get Deezer's customer support service website to let you be able to talk to Deezer employees on the Deezer customer support service website. Which is why you would have to use the email option to get your problem solved on Deezer if you want Deezer to mind its own business. Also, the people who upload lossless music on Deezer's system do not carefully rip C.D.s sometimes to make sure their songs are accurate.

Might be fine on other devices but just doesnt work with Alexa. Struggles to find albums and playlists, when it does find them it only plays one track then stops. Flow plays ok but many songs just play about 30 seconds and switch off, really frustrating and totally pointless

I did a test of their HiFi plan which is supposed to be FLAC quality. Out of 1000 files tested, around 300 were fake FLACs that only had a bitrate of 320, which is MP3 quality - effectively fake FLAC music.
I then did a test of 1000 MP3 files which are supposed to be 320, and just under 100 were fakes ranging from AS LOW AS 96!! up to 256.
Deezer and it's paid plans are a SCAM.

Decent streaming service but I had more results from searches with Tidal. I had an issue with Tidal and couldn't get my account up and running so I began service with Deezer. It was fine, just with less search results like stated, but the issue is when your account gets hacked. A quick jump to the company help center will reveal many, many others who've had their accounts hacked or piggy backed. The platform supports 3 separate devices to stream on, so it's nothing to open your app and getting a message that you can't listen to your music because all the devices are being used at the time, and I only use this app on my phone. Yet go to your linked devices and you will see many, like leaches, strangers jaming to the oddest tunes on your dollar. I've changed my password so many times I'm having a hard time remembering it, and it's only a matter of time before I'm locked out because someone else changed it, which I saw complaints of on their help center. Don't like that its easy for others to jump on your service, seems like bad business practice to let this go on and on. Never had this problem with Apple or Tidal. Wouldn't recommend.

Why 1 star? Do you remember the time apple music don't wanted to pay their musicians during their 3months free trial? Taylor Swift ended this unfair business maybe you remember! I have over 1000 streams easily over a period of 1 month but Deezer don't paid me a penny and the Plays aren't counted on my backend... I mean i don't have much streams and My music is still there. It feels like deezer is doing unfair business and I think it's better to avoid this company if you want to support indie artists! Other streaming services counted 100 streams and PAID for them by the way!

I used to have all my favorite songs on Deezer and it was so easy to listen to all of them. At one point this was my favorite music streaming website. It was so easy to use and I used it all the time for schoolwork or just for pleasure. Over time I noticed more ads but that wasn't such a big deal. The next thing I noticed was that the lyrics became part of the subscription plan. That was a bit dissapointing. But other than that, I had no problem with this site as I could still stream my favorite music.
But recently as I was checking my list of songs, I became shocked and angry. I still had my free account, but now Deezer has changed. Now I can't even listen to my own music anymore unless I subscribe! Songs that I used to be able to listen to are now only previewed for thirty seconds like in Itunes. I simply can't believe how they went this far to scam their costumers (its about 10 dollars per month)- from taking away the lyrics to taking away the music entirely, I don't think I've ever experienced a more unethical and cruel way to make money off of a site by going this far to "force people to pay for premium". Now my account is pretty much useless, and after being treated like this I am not willing to pay for this subscription. Even worse- I can't even delete my account! It requires my password, which was somehow automatically filled in. I tried copying it but it said the password was invalid. I couldn't even change my password so all I did was log out. I hope I can get rid of this useless service because I don't think I've ever gotten this betrayed by a "free" website!

I cancelled, they still took the money and I'm having trouble getting it back. Avoid the free trial it's not free. I 100% cancelled within minutes of starting the trial because It wouldn't work with the alexa.

Had a reduced price account with my Sonos I bought a few years back. Found out recently they've been randomly taking twice or three times the money from my account each month, Raised this with their support several times, sent all the Paypal ID's as they requested, then the comms just went dead. Now they've de-activated the account. Absolutely, truly and definitely the worst company out there - not just for streaming, but for anything. And look out for the 'sorry' response to this message, and 'we couldn't find the correspondence on the account'. 60%+ all giving a 1 star rating says it all.

Deezer is amazing! All my favourite music and latest releases all direct to my phone. Was a bit glitchy when trying to play large play lists but they seem to have fixed this. I've had all the portable devices over the years, tapes, cds, minidisc and mp3 players but the Deezer experience is just so much better. The sound quality on my Sony Xperia xz premium is great and I hook it up to a Marshall Bluetooth speaker in the kitchen when I'm cooking. Deezer has the largest collection of music and it's never been stumped yet. Even with obscure Egyptian dance music I heard on the radio whilst on holiday. The music catcher function recognised it immediately. Really impressed.

Not massively happy. It was fine to start, but if you ever need to contact support they are useless. If there are things that need fixed they don't get fixed. There are issues with music downloaded becoming unreadable after a bit. You have to repair your files support will tell you which is fine but it is literally 3 quarters of my playlist just will not play. The podcasts are a joke, there is no way to make them play chronologically so they play backwards. Basic really to be able to play podcasts in the right order but this isn't a feature on Deezer. Their forums are rife with people asking about these 2 things (and others) for a number of years but they don't care. They're not fixing it. wouldn't mind so much if it was free but it's not. Really disappointing. Try Spotify.
