Horrible customer service. Never received my order. Called several times and never got anywhere with customer service. The tracking information even says it was never delivered. I still haven't received my refund. I'd never buy tools or anything from CPO again.

Purchased a Hitachi sliding miter saw but it arrived defective with a wobbly blade. Sent it back but they did not process my refund for 11 days after receiving it. Then another 10 day wait for it to be posted to my account. Meanwhile, my checking account is now overdrawn.
Poor customer service...

I was cautious after reading a number of negative reviews, but placed an order and had positive results. I ordered two new/unused tools at a great price, they were shipped and arrived 3 days after I placed the order (timely shipping, west coast). The packaging was minimal with some expected blemishes from shipping. The tools were in their original packaging, undamaged and new. Both tools worked perfectly, had no missing or visibly tampered with parts and met my expectations.
I gave them 4 stars because I did not experience their customer service.
I would order from them again.

I hav I e purchased tools from CPO in the past and have been pleased with the products but about 2 weeks ago I placed an order for a Jet air filtration system. I was gone on vacation and when I returned home expecting to have the air filtration system to my surprise it was not there. Today I called CPO and they said my email was wrong and the order had been canceled. Tony surprise they found me by my phone number. The supervisor offered to give me an additional 10% discount but when I went to place the order to my surprise the 10% changed to $10. Bewarer of these people in the past they were good but now I can, trust them to do what they said. There are other places to get the tools and the prices are about the same.. Beware of this company

I placed an order online. I got the email confirmation that it would be shipped Monday. I checked the order Tuesday to find it had not been shipped. I called to find out what was going on and was told the order was cancelled with no explanation as to why I was not notified that this had occurred other than I should have been. Following the ladies instructions I called back the next morning to reinstate the order. I was then told that some information needed to be verified but since the process is handled by an automated system they would not be able to do so. I was told that in order to buy from cpo I would have to use a PayPal account witch I do not use. The customer service was no help and I see no reason why I can not use my Wells Fargo account that I use for all my online purchases. Order #y102147528

Over the years I have bought all of my tools from cpo outlet. Until recently, i have had a good experience with them. Last year I bought a refurbished dealt bench grinder from them and the shaft was bent. They took it back. Then I bought a refurbished bosch cordless drill and impact, which both were good. The problem was with one of the chargers. It didn't work. I sent cpo an email and they never responded. That was about 3 months ago. I sent them another email and they told me I had to send the charger back to the factory because I waited more than 30 to contact them. I told them that I did contact them within 30 days and they haven't responded back.. I don't know if I will buy from them again. Not a happy customer.

ordered a reconditioned tool from cpo. was told it will be at my door by thursday. now its going to be monday maybe. was told it will ship for free. now i see a $7:99 shipping charge on my card. . not the best way to handle a new customer,this will be my first and last purchase from cpo

What they don't tell you when you order:
I placed an order this morning and all seemed well. Shortly thereafter, I received an email stating the order was cancelled. No explanation whatsoever. When I called them I was told they do not ship to UPS stores (Pack and Ship stores) because they've experienced fraud in the past. However, they will ship it to your door where it can sit unattended for the porch pirates to steal. It would have been nice for this disclaimer to appear in the ordering process in order not to waste my time.

Wish I could give a review without even 1 star! Customer service is not a benchmark for this company because the customer experience was horrible. Placed an order and assumed since “order confirmation” was received, that the order would be shipped. To my surprise, I received an “order cancellation” email with 0 justification as to why. Implement a working automated order processing system! I called 4 times because no one called me! 0 quality control. When I called, there is no existing call prompt / cue for customer assistance so I selected sales as my issue should be addressed by a sales professional. Your sales UNprofessionalS (on each call) were rude AND belittling! Do you want my business or not? I placed my order through my business account and I spent just shy of $600 and not one person there considered to call???? I’m sure that personal orders for small home equipment and tools get no respect!!!! Now, once I reached someone who I thought...couldn’t avoid helping...I was informed “the actual person who cancelled your order is not at her desk”. So my order relies on one persons current mood? Because if there were a POLICY documented, every rep could follow that and therefore, every rep could help customers! So now I wait for a call that never comes! I call three more times (over next couple of days) and continue to encounter rude sales associates. On my final call, I was informed that I should create a PayPal account to complete my order. In my years and endeavors of business, I’ve never been told “we can’t process your business Visa (major credit card) in our system because our system is kwerky, so create a paypal acct”. Wait, my card wasn’t denied. You just won’t process my card because of a system issue / glitch that occurred while i was on your order website and you’re too lazy to key the info in?!?!?!. I wasted a week of downtime and paypal is your resolve?!?! Customer service and quality assurance are non existing here!

Every product I have ever purchased from CPO Outlets has been of the highest quality and best price.
Although last item was large and needed better packaging.
But if the shipping does not damage it... good to go.
Most of the products were in original packages with more than adequate cushioning though

Payed for my items and they couldn’t ship my items. They said my address wasn’t confirmed through what ever information they were looking at. I payed and provided my address. All they had to do was ship my items. CPO outlets is a joke

I oredered 2 dewalt flexvolt batteries on amazon and I saw CPO as the reseller I been scammed by this company before on walmart with a "USED" air compressor customer return even though it was listed as a new item any way batteries come the heat sealed pacakaging has been tampered with and on both sides so you can push it down an squeeze used batteries in SHADY COMPANY
WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE AN I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED BY MALL SALESMEN, CAR DEALER, PAYDAY LOANS, AND MY FAVORITE ROOF/INSURANCE/MOLD SCAM ARTIST THAT LAST ONE ALMOST IS THE SAME AS CPO BUT CPO WINS most crooked of ALL!!! why because they look legit guys its a total SCAM!

I want to express my utter disappointment of the condition of the saw I received. I realize this is a reconditioned item, but per your website,
"Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new."
This was the main reason I chose reconditioned. I was totally fine with minor scratches or blemishes, but was not prepared for RUST and damaged rails. I have cleaned them up as much as possible, but I am concerned that rust is present inside the motor or other areas I cannot see.
I have sent the company 3 emails, with ZERO response.

ordered a fisker hand drill show with bit package...they shipped only the drill. refused to supply the bits. beware...they show and sell things they don't provide or ship. Beware...bad reseller / dealer. bait and switch.

Classic bait-and-switch: CPO advertised a bonus battery with purchase, but none was sent. I called and, astonishingly, the reps with whom I spoke claimed to have no knowledge of this bonus whatsoever. After I sent a screenshot, it was suddenly so popular it was sold out already. Does Milwaukee approve of this sales tactic? I am going to find out.

They seem to have false advertising and their customer service is pathetic. I have an account and have bought quite a few tools from them but No more. I have unsubscribed from their email and hope to never see anything from them again. I do not place many reviews and especially bad but this place is not good. I will buy local or from TheToolNut online.

I suspect there is something fishy with this company. There are multiple, nonsensical, five star reviews on Amazon. Their review count is higher than other tool sellers on Amazon. My guess is they are planting 5 star reviews to average out the 1 star reviews.

On 12/29/18 I placed a $1,163 order through Amazon ($1,235 w/ tax) (via CPO Outlets) for a Laguna Tools 1412 bandsaw. Large heavy item that requires a lift gate service to deliver. This charge showed "pending" on my credit card statement a day later.
On 1/4/19 (6 days later) I noticed Laguna Tools had a 10% off sale. I called CPO to inquire about price matching. They do not.
On 1/7/19 (9 days later) my credit card statement now showed no charge, pending or actual, for the item. I called CPO Outlets to inquire about a cancellation. I told them I would gladly accept the item if it were too late to cancel. (I'm aware of their 25% restocking fee for cancellations that have been "prepped for shipping" or that have been shipped) They told me the order had already been canceled on 1/4/19 and their records showed the item had not shipped (or been prepped for shipping). I explained it wasn't me who made the request on 1/4/19. Given all this information I requested the order to stay canceled.
About an hour after that conversation with CPO I received a call from the lift-gate service wanting to schedule a time to deliver my order. (the item had shipped and was near my home town) I told them my order had been canceled. I immediately called CPO to inform them. I told them I would go ahead with the order if this meant I would incur any "restocking fees". They told me it was "unlikely" I would have any fees attached to my cancellation. I wanted to be absolutely sure so I requested a call back from CPO once they knew for sure so I could make a final decision. I didn't hear back from them.
2 days later on 1/9/19 my credit card statement showed a charge for the item (5 days after the order was canceled). I immediately filed a dispute with my credit card company. I called CPO again and reiterated my concerns of being charged a 25% restocking fee ($290) and if this were the case I would gladly accept the order. I was told it was too late and the item was back in route to Laguna Tools but it didn't look like I would be charged any fees. I asked that someone who could provide me with accurate information call me immediately.
4 hours later I received a call from CPO. I was told it wasn't CPO who makes the decision to charge a restocking fee and that it was Laguna Tools. I requested a call back with actual information. I called Laguna Tool and explained the situation. Laguna's 25% restocking fee is charged to the company (CPO) not the customer (Me). They also agreed that CPO was at fault. I did not hear back from CPO
On 1/14/19 I noticed a refund in the amount of $557.34 to my card. This is $678 less that my order total. And $388 more than a 25% restocking fee. On 1/16/19 I called CPO. I was told that $557.34 was my total refund. Not only was I charged a 25% restocking fee (from Laguna Tools according to CPO) but an additional "redistribution fee" of $388 from CPO. I was told there was nothing I could do, no one else I could talk to and that I should talk to my credit card company if I thought it was unfair. I asked to speak with who was in charge of making the decision to charge me these fees. I was told I wasn't able to speak with anyone else.
There was never any mention of this "distribution fee" from anyone at CPO nor is it stated in their "return policy". It seems as though this fee was made up. I'm waiting to hear back from my credit card company about the dispute. This could take up to 60 days.

Ordered a refurbished Ryobi Electric Planer.
Received it. It’s been working fine.
Wasn’t exactly a difficult scenario to get right, so no complaints on my end. 5 stars.
