Lying about placing Machines and fees paid not refunded
We signed a contract based on availability for placing our machines at Duke Univ. Mr. Ryan Lipos lied to us. We paid $900 as placement fees. Machine was delivered in February and up till now we have not found locations to place them. We could not reach Ryan since then. Changed his phone number and would not reply emails.

This Company Is A Scam!!!
I purchased 2 machines for. $8,000 from Ryan Lipos. Machines were purchased last week of January 2014 with a promised delivery date of February 7th. It is now February 24th and the machines have not been delivered and Ryan is not answering my calls. Initially he said that the weather was the cause, then that he had the flu, then that he was traveling to Florida. After reviewing the comments on here I realized that I too have been scammed. He promised that my locations have above 100 employees and are open 6 days a week.

Ryan Lipos fradulant sales Rep
I also have purchased 2 of the Coffee vending machines from Mr. Lipos. I was promised 2 3 year contracts with 2 different companies in my Town. As soon as Ryan Lipos got my money he was very hard to get a hold of. And when we did get a hold of him he was never in the office and couldn't get the info on the contracts. Now he will no longer answer the phone. and will not give the names of the contracts. I have requested a refund because the Machines are still not here after over a month of waiting. He sent a email saying no refunds. Pretty sure this will end with a loss!

Not compliant of signed purchase agreement
I was a victim of a scam being offered in a prestigious franchise website under Coffee Vending Business this past December 2013. I sent out for more information from the vendor and was immediately contacted by Ryan Lipos from Coffee Vending Business Inc., through high pressure sales tactics I succumbed to his offering and purchased 3 coffee vending machines under a signed purchase agreement. The purchase agreement called for the sale of 3 coffee vending machines together with the proper training and 3 locations that had 3 year contracts and 75 plus employees that would make each location a profitable proposition from day one. After paying via deposited check the agreed purchase price for the 3 machines with their corresponding contracts Mr. Lipos was very hard to contact and fulfilled the signed Purchase Agreement. I did received the 3 machines which I could have gotten directly from China for less than half the price but after that my nightmare began. The so called 3 year contract sites of 75 plus employees did not exist, the training he had stated I was to obtain on the machines came in the form of an email from the coffee machine supplier. Needless to say I am now left out with 3 coffee machines I cannot place nor have the knowledge how to operate. The reason I am writing to you is because I do not want this person and his company to continue to swindle more people out of their hard earned money. I know you do not have any liability in this matter but please be aware that he is tarnishing the reputation of Franchisedirect.com. I am including a link of where I later found this type of scam (follow this link: http://www.forbes.com/sites/bi...).
