Clickworker exists only to take advantage of people and get free work by suspending those who have spent countless hours on their jobs. They will not take responsibility for their own mistakes and they punish workers for screw-ups on their part (or their client's part).
You will get suspended for mistakes on the part of the company with no willingness to work with you to resolve the issue. Any attempt to rectify problems via email or receive further clarification will be met with canned responses. It doesn't matter if you have always been a legit and honest worker; you will be banned suddenly and without warning.
I feel really stupid for falling for such a scam and wasting so much time with them. There are better online jobs out there! Rather than stick with a scam like Clickworker I should have devoted my time to a legitimate company. Other companies offer UHRS work - do your research and work with them instead. Avoid Clickworker for UHRS.
I have no doubt they will respond to this review refuting my claims, but please don't be fooled, it's simply damage control on their part and an attempt to draw in more naive suckers. Just read the rest of the reviews to see that others have had similar experiences.

The steady stream of 1 star ratings here should tell you something. This company is to be avoided at all costs. They do ban for no reason and contrary to their claims that workers "exploited" their system, the workers were simply completing the tasks that were posted and then were blamed that the wrong tasks had been posted by UHRS! Clickworker admin also lied to the workforce, claiming that we would be only temporarily banned, but then turned around and banned us permanently. If you like being lied to, blamed for mistakes that are the fault of your employer, banned for no reason, and then ignored when you complain, this is the (terrible) company for you. If you like to be treated with respect for your hard work, never consider working for this company. Absolutely awful experience. Strongly recommend avoiding them at all costs.

Don't believe on clickworker.com, they are collecting personal data and transferring money. They will give lots of reasons. For me they are neither transferring money on PayPal account nor responding to emails. After sending few emails I tried to login but I couldn't. My humble request to all friends dont share your personal information, initially they may pay but later you don't expect.

They love to ban you for no reason, and not pay you. Work for them as long as you can, but you will eventually be banned. Wish they would just go out of business so the good jobs could go to better companies.
They are garbage, and hide because they operate from outside the US.

The company is extremely suspecious. Registering just don't work. Your account is immediately suspended and then you have to go through a rigorous screening procedure, where they ask funny things of you.
Fortunately I did not work for them, since I learned through profound research, that the usually don't pay you. So I'm glad I didn't waste any time with "work" they would have assigned.

I needed money and this seems to be an easy way to get it, which should make you cautious in the first place, as it did with me. Comes out you are sharing your privacy with an unknown company with unknown motives. All assignments seem to be about you and your environment, this gives me a creepy.feel. Everybody talks about Facebook and Google nowadays controlling the world's AI of the future but I assume Clickworker wants to be playing a big role in this Big Data takeover as well. Interesting how they say it is ' just about being honest' ... yeah right, honestly handing over your privacy, in exchange for an honestly weird payment scheme...Even if it is true that they DO pay in the end, which I guess means only for 5-15% of the time, this did not feel right to me... I put away your phone and got out in the sun instead!

If I could give this website zero stars, I would. When I signed up years ago, I actually made enough, I know for sure one time, maybe twice to cash in. (The minimum used to be $10, not sure if that is still true). However, in about the last couple of years, whenever I would perform tasks, I wouldn't get paid. It would give some error message after I would submit. I have $4 and some change in my account. Today I received an email from them saying they have decided to deactivate my account at my request. I have asked them to show me proof where I made that request, as I never sent them a request to deactivate my account. (When trying to make extra money, I spend all of my time on Microworker, because I have never had an issue getting payment through them). So, Clickworker has deactivated my account, and not sent me the $4 and some change that was in my account, that I worked for and spent time on the tasks. So, in my opinion and experience, this is a scam, and they are dishonest. I do not know how this company stays afloat if this is how it treats its workers. I don't know if they are treating some workers differently than others, and that is how they are able to stay afloat after all this time, or how it has been possible for them to stay afloat. By the way, a lot of the jobs that were available to me paid like 9 cents a task, etc, and they weren't even able to pay that small amount of money when I completed a task. I used to think there was some issue with my computer, or I wasn't completing the task properly so I would try another one, same thing. Then after not having been on it for months or years, would go in again thinking it would be different - it never was.

I have just checked it again. I have sent the emails from my gmail account which is the same account I have registered at your site Clickworker.com. It is ulasonder9 at gmail.com Also I had attached the invoice to my email which YOU had sent me and it contains all the information you need to identify the payment.
Transferwise asked for some basic information and I have kept asking you to provide them to me; so that TransferWise can check it out.
1. Your account name at Transferwise.com
2. Your account number at Transferwise.com
3. Date and amount you have sent...etc.
How can I be more clear? Don't you check the attachments of emails? Don't you read explanations carefully? How you can't see it's the same email account of mine? It was the first and only payment you should make so you can't miss it anyway. What's wrong?
I have waited for the payment for months and nor you nor Transferwise have report that "TransferWise have sent the payment back". Only after several emails you told me this and only this "they have sent the money back to us". There is not any "proof". Why don't you provide any proper information even in your website about the payment. You have to send me a proper "proof of payment" containing proper information about the payment.
Also I have asked you to try to send it again and you haven't replied this request too. How can I find out and resolve the problem which, you are experiencing between yourself and in case you both don't provide me any information?
You should had been resolved this problem with Transferwise.com at the first place. This situation crosses the edge of my patience. I should earn much more if I spend the time which I have spend by writing and reading these emails to ANY other job.
I'm terribly sory about my trouble and you should be too.

I had put in a lot of effort to make some money on the Clickworker platform and things were going good till it was the time to get paid. I saw invoices were processed but I never received any payments in my Paypal account. Clickworker used to reply to my emails within 24-48 hours, but once I started emailing them about my payment issue, they completely stopped replying. I tried contacting Paypal but they haven’t been to help me out either. I am just wondering how could such a popular platform carry out such shady business practices. Such a shame!

Clickworker is one of the better crowdsourcing places to work. They have a human aspect to them and a much better customer service response than say, Amazon Mechanical Turk.
It may take longer to start making money and you may find less jobs available to you than other similar sites. But in time the more jobs you do the more jobs will come. Their jobs seem to be of higher quality and random rejection of jobs are rare, unlike other crowdsourcing places.
You can also get assessments, such as, writing or English language which will open up more jobs for you as well. They are quick to answer any problems you may have and also have a great support system. You are treated like a human not a number.
But like most types of crowdsourcing jobs, it is a place for most people just to make a little extra money. Those who have found ways to make a lot of cash are much fewer. It's best to go in knowing that.

If you're looking for disappointment then welcome!
I've had my clickworker account for three years now and I know I wasn't expecting to make millions on clickworker but I figured that it would give me something to kill time while I worked (I work from home and sometimes a little distraction is more than needed). Every survey that I try to take gives me the same "sorry" message and I'm forced to live with that. They have some surveys you can take with a peanutlabs link included but I can't take those either. The only money I've accumulated is from downloading the app when it came out and I can tell you proudly of how close I am to getting a dollar after a whole three years.
I've seen that there is someone that takes their time to address all of the reviews and tries to justify it in the most humane way possible. It's a really nice attempt at being comforting but instead of wasting time doing that just give us things to do.
My goal by 2025 is to get to three dollars if clickworker is still a thing because three dollars is something to brag about in there

I don't have any big problems. Making money is fast and easy. Could be more but still better than nothing.
Only complains: I can't contact UHRS and therefore not do their assignments. And my account balance is always around 20€ but only about 10€ are payable. It's kinda hard to tell from which jobs the payment comes from and why so many are not payable or still in review for months.

You're not going to make any real money or worthy change working for this site. The "jobs" are meaningless tasks that pay peanuts and aren't worth the time. I've taken two test with them thus far and was hoping to be offered jobs such as those that would be associated with the type of tests taken. The only jobs that pop up every time I log in are Wikiorgcharts and image searches. I haven't been given an invite for the UHRS and frankly, I don't think I would waste my time with UHRS assessments even if they did offer it to me. Reading through current reviews leads me to believe that work on those projects are limited when/if they're available. The concept of Clickwork is great, but the delivery leaves much to be desired. I've actually made more taking online surveys with a different site and have been paid out twice doing so. I've made a whopping $0.28 with Clickworker thus far because of the lack of jobs.
Since the type of work offered is usually those stated above, it would be a nice incentive for new users to have a short tutorial on how to perform the jobs because the directions aren't always clear as to what it is that the requester is asking for. This will avoid the possibilities of jobs being returned to the pool and/or sitting for days uncompleted. It will give those new to freelance work through the site a better understanding as to what types of tasks they are most likely to encounter and how to successfully complete them. An understanding of the English language does not necessarily correlate to one being able to complete jobs if the directions are poorly given.
I also have some concerns over how my personal information is stored, especially my social security number. I feel that their policy should be changed in regards to when one should file a W9 since the average micro worker may not reach the $600 threshold needed to begin reporting and filing taxes on the work done through them. Only those who have reached the $600 requirement should be required to release tax ID information or at the very least, those who have been invited into the UHRS job market. What happens to our information after termination of our accounts? Is the information destroyed or does it remain in whatever database is used to collect and store it? Is our personal information shared with the third party entities?
I think Clickworker still has the potential for those looking for freelance work at home opportunities, but there are some things that need to change to make it a worthwhile option to earn extra income at home.

I'm going to give the website a 2 star, it has some very promising ideas, but tasks available by Click Worker itself are few and far apart, and pay very little - rendering the concept pointless. Most of the tasks available are done by third party vendors, whom use their own survey engine instead of Click Worker, and although it states "Don't give any private information, e-mail, etc." before starting these surveys, each and every single one requires them to continue.
The problem with third party engines piggy-backing off of Click Worker is that any surveys completed aren't guaranteed a payout, in fact I did 6 and right at the end of most after several questions (past the qualifying parts) was given a "Sorry, late disqualification". So, I've spent 6 minutes answering a series of questions to get towards the last few stages of the survey, just to find out my answers were invalid, but they could still use my answers?
Also, upon starting a third party 'partner' survey, each disqualification leads to yet another third party 'partner' survey, which moves you further and further away from your original source, which was Click Worker, making it difficult to trace any monies owed.
I'll be honest,
Click Worker either needs to sort out how they do business and -stop- using third parties to "supplement" their task list, or discontinue their current business model.
Ensure a payment of each task is guaranteed if the Click Worker has completed at least 25% of a survey, even if it is 25% of the total amount payable for a full completion - this way it stops people from wasting time, just to find out later on that they provided them some useful FREE information, something that Marketing departments earn a lot of money to collect.

As a student I am always in need of some extra money so I tried clickworker, which was suggested by an online portal for job offers. From the first moment on I felt uncomfortable, though I cannot quite pinpoint why. It was the overall situation that made my twitch and turn, but I gave it a chance and was disappointed. The tasks often took deliberately longer than suggested, which diminished the hourly wage. I had to realize that the minimum wage in Germany is higher than I was working for so I quit the account after a few days.

Clickworker can suspend your account at anytime. They will not not provide you explanation. Compensation you earn will be withhold indefinitely. Your account will be barred from logging in. Their only form of contact is email support and they will not reply you. You will not get a disclosure from them nor compensated for money accrued for work completed. I don't recommend joining Clickworker due to their lack of integrity. Do your due diligence, there are few other such companies that offer the exact same type of work.

I thought this would be a way to earn some money on the side, but the wages are simply not worth it. Some tasks take three minutes yet pay 2 pence, and there are so many technical errors that a lot of work is never credited at all. With a few better paid tasks I made enough to cash out, but then started receiving unprofessional-looking messages saying that my account had been blocked until I provided personal information. I thought it was a phishing scam, but lo and behold my account had actually been blocked. As I received no explanation for having to provide this suspicious amount of data, I decided to cut my losses and abandon this joke of a company.

I worked for clickworker for approximately four years, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Any time I had a problem, i would contact them and within a day or two would receive a reply.
However, in September I was "temporarily suspended" because they thought I was working two accounts under my name. I sent them the proof they asked for, as of today, five different times, and no one has bothered to answer me back.
Also, they are holding approximately $500 that I should have received weeks ago. Again, no response from my emails. I have tried writing to specific people, again to no avail.
I referred several of my family and friends to them.
It would be nice if their customer service helped when it really matters.
