Stay away from this company Very unethical. We ended up paying them for a year and then tried to cancel again. we contacted CC company and stopped payment. still they find a way to charge.

Excellent tool for engaging my leads. I use ClearSlide to host meetings and share content and send followup and cold emails.
I like that I can easily see when my content has been viewed by the prospects and how much time they spent on each page. Activities are logged in SalesForce, which is also nice as it saves time.
Overall it's a great tool that automates or makes easy to find sales content, share it, and log the activity to SFDC.

I purchased clearslide two years ago and used the service from time to time. When I hadn't used it enough to justify renewing it, I tried to cancel it 30 days in advance of my renewal date. They wouldn't allow me to do it. They pointed my attention to the fine print in a user agreement that they had not previously shared with me. The agreement required me to provide 90 days notice of cancellation. Naturally, I wasn't pleased with that. But they had my credit card, so they charged it for another year and I was stuck with paying for it. Then it got really interesting. I stopped using the service when I realized that clearslide had perhaps the worst customer service I've ever encountered from a business, and I wanted nothing to do with them. But even though I stopped using their service, they then they billed me for "audio" charges that I never incurred since I never used their service again. When I didn't pay for those bogus audio charges, they suspended my subscription. That's right, because I didn't pay $23 in audio charges that I didn't owe them, they suspended a subscription for which they had forced me to pay $420, even though I didn't want to renew it. Those folks are crooks.

I used to be a huge advocate of Clearslide as I had used them for over 5 years at a different company in the past. Last year I tried to use their service on a trial period contract for 1 year, and quickly found we could not use their service for our sale presentations. I communicated with their "customer success" team after they attempted to charge us for a second year of non-service, and they are opting to proceed with collections despite the fact that they knew we were not using their software. There are too many other great options out there for you to have to worry about their poor customer service and draconian billing practices. Choose anything else.

We bought Clearslides for our business and on the face it looked great. The ability to aggregate sales resources, get analytics on sales assets, great tools for sales enablement, and video conferencing all in one. Once we used it, we realized it had severe latency on video conferencing, animations on Keynote and Powerpoint do not work (fixed later) rendering assets useless unless in PDFs, among other issues. I tried to work with them on it for months and finally had to migrate to other systems. I asked for a refund on performance. They switched account managers, gave me the runaround and finally denied my request based on contractual terms which they were within their rights to do...and it is clearly terrible treatment of a customer. They acknowledged the issues we were having but refused to accommodate us. If you work with this company, and I don't recommend it, be sure to negotiate refunds for performance or don't sign the contract or pay the bill.

They don't send any info to let you know your account is auto-renewing for a year. This product isn't working for our company and I contacted them 16 days after our "60 Day Notice" date. They have REFUSED to cancel our account (note, we are not a large account....2 users and don't even have an account manager). I was even asked on the phone when I was trying to cancel our account--- "So, do you just not care about customer engagement?" SO RUDE! Of course we care about that....but your product doesn't work for us!!
Bottom line....use a calendar alert to cancel your account if you know you don't want to proceed.

My Company subscribed to ClearSlide for our business development employees. One of these employees left the company and I had to cancel his subscription. The customer service at clearslide absolutely sucks. They didn't understand why i wanted to cancel even though i told them the user that subscribed left the company. When I email them asking for a receipt (because they always fail to send out a monthly receipt) they pass me off to different people who do not email me back. It takes 2 months to get an simple receipt from them. They are completely unorganized and unreliable.

This is the type of company that makes you wish a zero star option were available. They automatically renew your subscription, they ignored the set cancelation date and continued to bill me. I have sent 3 emails with no response whatsoever and their product is way overpriced. Customer service does not get worse than ClearSlide.

The terms of service clearly states that the website services is not intended for children... so, this rating part should not apply if it's being used as a scoring mechanism.
