I have been trying to take care of making a payment of $81.27 for nearly an hour right now. In 11 minutes, the Cashcall office will close and I will presumably be hit with a late fee. I waited this long to pay this amount because I already attempted to pay it with online banking on August 10 (It’s now 8/16). According to my bank the payment cleared my account on August 13. For some unknown reason the company says I still haven't made the payment.
To be clear, this has occurred because I didn't realize that my monthly payment had been increased by the 81 dollars because of a “shortage in my escrow account”. After receiving a phone message on 8/10 that I needed to contact Cashcall, I called customer service immediately and was informed about the increase. As soon as I got off the phone, I entered the payment into my online banking and assumed everything was taken care of. On the 13th I received another phone message and figured the payment just hadn't been processed because I could see that it had cleared my bank account.
This morning (8/16, the last day to make the payment without a late charge) I called hoping to make the payment using my debit card only to be told I can only make the payment using my bank account number. I left work early to insure I had time to make the payment before the 10:00 PM Eastern cutoff using my bank account number. I first tried to make the payment using a live representative. After waiting on hold for over 25 minutes, I decided to make the payment using the automated service. After following its instructions perfectly three times, I was told each time that I'd made an invalid entry (even though I was reading the numbers directly from the bottom of my check exactly as instructed) and the service hung up on me.
It is now 7:00 PM Pacific time, so I have now been on hold AGAIN trying to talk to a representative for 27 minutes and have presumably missed the 10:00 PM EDT cutoff. This is one of the most frustrating experiences of my life.
I've made every payment early since the funding of my loan and now I'm going to have a late payment on my history because of this @#$%^*(^*^ company providing the worst customer service of any organization I've ever dealt with.
Word of advice; DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SLEEZY COMPANY!!!

Told me they only needed certain documents to close, then after I gave them all their information they sent me signatures for much more information that I could not provide. Classic bait and switch.

This is the WORST place there is. I have to disagree with those who say "run from these guys"...don't even call them. I have been over 2 months jacking with these people. Their ad says they help if you are self-employed...no they don't. I submitted all the paperwork they wanted. Then they wanted 12 months of my company bank statements. So I sent them the front page showing total deposits and debits. That wasn't good enough, they wanted every page. When I did that, it still wasn't good enough. They said they didn't like the way my bank showed deposits and they wanted me to prove that they were actual deposits. Really? They wanted copies of my deposit slips for my 400 customers. Deposit slips have customers names on them. I told them that violate the Privacy Act and I was NOT going to show my customers names. They said I had to either di it or provide copies of invoices....for 400 customers? With names on them? These people are complete and total idiots. AND THIS WAS JUST FOR A REFINANCE...AND THE RATE WASN'T MUCH BETTER THAN I ALREADY HAVE....RUN AWAY, RUN AWAY OR BETTER YET, FIND ANOTHER FINANCE COMPANY...THEY ARE CROOKS!

If I can give a lower rating than this I would. Unfortunately this is the lowest I can provide.
I was with Bank of America for 20 years before moving with Cashcall against my wife's advice. Unfortunately or not she was proved absolutely right base on what she had heard from her friends and colleagues.
I must admit Bank of America never failed even once.
The cash call website is terrible. Their customer service is worst in the industry. To start with you should call your own customerserice number and go thru the hell we customers go thru. Then you know what we are talking about.
I still do not have a login.

Don't use Cashcall Mortgage unless you want to spend massive amounts of time on your email, phone, and speaking with supervisors! We used Cashcall Mortgage recently and missed TWO closing dates b/c they could not underwrite the loan quickly enough. They kept asking for more, and More, and MORE info, some of which shocked our realtor and title company. They continued to ask for info event AFTER we closed and funded the loan, even threatening to "unfund" our loan if we didn't get them the extra info they were requesting. I tried to speak with supervisors by phone and email. Guess what, NO RESPONSE! I actually spent several hours crying just b/c of the stress they put me under, and I am typically a very laid-back executive. AWFUL experience which I will never repeat.

Escrow / Title company can do better job on the Estimated vs Final ALTA Settlement Statement. If they charged any items of taxes or insurance for the borrower, please immediately send a copy of payments to the borrower. I have double paid the insurance and worried about missing the deadline for paying the taxes. BTW, my name is George Chiachi Yao, but you misspelled as 'George Chiechi Yao'.

I liked that a company representative kept in contact with me all along, and facilitated a speedy closure of my refinance. That was the good part. On the negative side, the application process was not quite as slick or easy as Quicken loans, with whom I also applied for a loan. Also, the company representative confused me at one point telling me that I had a lien on the house, when I just needed to get my ex-husband to sign a quit-claim for the deed. However, Cashcall gave me a better rate and scheduled the closing sooner than Quicken.

I worked with Alre Halim and Ann Quach. They were wonderful to work with. They are patient, knowledgeable, and fast to respond. Due to the importance of these loans, I ask a lot of questions and double check everything. I truely appreciate their explanations and details to make me feel comfortble with the terms. This is the 2nd loan I've worked with Alre and I will be calling him next time.

I refinanced and was switched from FHA to Conv and my interest went up. I questioned this and was told that it had to be done this way but I could call back after a month and lower it at no charge....WRONG - When I called back to lower it I was told I could not. I was mislead by the professional company I trusted. Beware, I am now stuck with higher interest rate!

Everything seemed perfect until I signed the loan documents and trusted the loan was going to be paid off. 2 weeks after closing, I found out the loan was never paid. I was hoping to skip a mortgage payment but when I checked with my bank I found out it wasn’t paid. I called cashcall and the escrow company and they said I was misssing the land Survey. They never called me to ask for it. I sent it to them. I waited a couple of days and called them back. Nobody returned my call. Nobody it’s telling me what’s going on with my refinancing loan. Nobody answers their phone or calls me back to give me any updates.

We were very excited to qualify for this mortgage loan. We provided everything and then some from the get go. Asked questions. Made sure there wasn't anything else we could do or get to speed the process along. We applied for the loan in mid November and it finally funded in February. What we found was a horrible lack of knowledge and communication. They were condescending and rude at times. If you apply with them make sure that you ask questions and ask the same questions of the next three or four people you will be dealing with. We luckily had one person who actually cared. She was in the Escrow department. The rest of the experience was very disappointing. And when I complained I was told to not ever call upper management as they are very busy people and don't have time for menial issues. That was the last straw for me. I knew I was on speaker phone and could hear people laughing. Not professional and not good for business.

I was really impressed on how cashcall mortgage processed my loan in a very efficient and expedited manner. I called Masa on a Friday afternoon and 2 weeks after, my loan was funded. I was very amazed how he worked along with Amy. I am truly very thankful to both of them. Triple A+ service!!! I can recommend them both to my family and friends.
