My car was scheduled to be delivered on Wednesday October 30th. But now its November 6th. I was told this is Carvana's M.O. I was hoping for the best but they got me too. I'm seriously thinking about canceling. It sucks because my credit went down when they checked my credit...and Im paying for insurance on a car I don't have.
It's so frustrating.
I would never recommend or use Carvana again.

We tried to buy a car. We canceled the order. Carvana withdrew $8800 the next day "by accident" and won't give it back for 7-10 days. Since I'm not buying a car I cannot get anyone to even talk to me. I cannot wrap my head around how much this will cost because of all the fees I will be charged by my bank because they cleaned out my account.

I had a great experience with Carvana; the website is easy-to-use and provides all the details needed to make an informed purchase, and the purchasing process itself was not difficult at all.
What surprised me was how quick the delivery was after purchase. I received the car just 3 days after completing the order.
I initially had some reservations about ordering online, but there is still definitely enough human contact to make the process work. The phone (and in-person, during delivery) interactions were professional, informative, and courteous, and the car I ordered was exactly as described online.

Overall we were satisfied with our purchase. The delivery arrived on time and the driver was knowledgeable without vehicles features. Everything was explained in depth in reference to the return process. The only complaint we have is the initial purchase process. We had to sign our contracts multiple times and had to keep calling to ensure our trade in was accepted. We got different answers in reference to our trade in and what to do with the previous vehicles license plate. Other than the initial hiccups, we are very happy with our purchase.

Carvana did everything they said they would do, and I'd say I had the perfect Carvana experience that they are shooting for. It's unlikely I'll ever visit a car dealer again in my life. The car was as-described, as-pictured, arrived at the agreed upon time, clean inside and out with some Carvana swag inside, and passed inspection the following day. I was concerned with getting license plates in Massachusetts since it's usually a hassle, but the car arrived with plates installed and I was emailed a valid registration a few hours after delivery with a paper copy overnighted and received the next day, so it appears they have ironed out any issues with the Massachusetts RMV process. The customer service was top-notch and friendly, including the delivery driver who was also friendly. The purchase process was simple, taking 20 minutes including reading the contract and signing - I never had to talk to a salesman, sales advisor, finance person, or other pushy dealer types. The only negative was that the tire pressures were inflated to some really weird pressures causing two dash lights to be on during delivery, an issue I easily fixed at the local gas station air pump.

I recently purchased a 2016 GMC Terrain and I absolutely love it and CARVANA. The purchase was seamless and so simple and absolutely enjoyable. I traded my vehicle in and got this one. In the past I always dreaded buying a car because with less than perfect credit, it was almost like I was inconveniencing the dealership. With CARVANA I was treated with kindness and they made the experience so pleasant. I will never go back to a traditional dealership. CARVANA has a customer for life.

The Worst experience Imaginable. I picked a car out one month again it was suppose to arrive within 4 days the day before pick up I get a call and they tell me the car won’t be available for another 10 days due to the shipping driver calling out of work. Had to cancel that order and find another vehicle because I work full time and I have a life I need to live which requires a car to use. I order a new car wait several days to get the car. I get to Carvana finish my paper work now it’s time to get my car but the person helping me doesn’t know how to get the vehicle down and that takes a couple tries and over a half an hour. I drive the car home drive for about 90 miles with the car that only has 5k miles on it and the transmission light comes on and the car won’t excelerate . So I call up tell them I want to return the car and pick out a new car. I do so picked out a 2018 Chevy Malibu we pick another pick up date and I get a call last night that the Malibu has frame damage!!!! We can’t ship it out to you. I need to pick out a new car so I pick out another car another Chevy Malibu and now all of a sudden my interest rate jumped up 3% from my last 3 vehicles I was suppose to have. Now I have to call back up when they open see why this has happened to me and ask why is everything still pending when I just signed a contract after I wasn’t told anything about my interest rate going up!!! I’m disgusted and beyond livid with my experience there was no courtesy no offers towards me for their inconveniences! How could you put someone through all of this and still try and find a way to mess them over with a higher interest rate when this had nothing to do with me but everything to do with Carvana and their team!! By far the worse experience Ive ever had!!! Carvana should be ashamed of the way you do business. 150 point inspection that’s bs and trying to pull a fast one on a customer when you are already making tones of money on interest to begin with! I deserve some curiously and an explanation

Do NOT I REPEAT DO NOT DO THIS. If you have a trade in, they are unable to pay your lien holder immediately. I had a trade in and they never paid off my car. I didn’t find out until missed payments were on my credit report. I called to get this straightened out they had the audacity to tell me to pay both loans until they figure it out. This was the absolute WORST idea I ever thought of doing. Please do not give these people your time, money, and car!

I cannot believe the ease of getting approved, finding a car and then picking it up! NO DEALERS!! I work for a very big bank and a lot of my members love car shopping but dread going to the dealership. Honestly it is takes the fun out of buying a car. The people at Carvana are wonderful! Every single person I came into contact with gave me stellar 5 star customer service. I picked out my first car. I was within my 7 day money back stage, and the car was great but not a good fit for my family so I browsed inline again and found the perfect one!! It was NO HASSLE at all for the switch. The first car, I went on site. Coolest experience ever seeing your car come down a machine. Test driving signing paperwork takes 15 minutes!! Yes they do all your tax title license and registration! The second car I hot delivered. Same experience of ease!! I have told EVERYONE from my neighbors, family, even my own members!! Please if you are weary of Carvana, don't be! Their autos have the car fax reports and none of them have been in accidents!! Wow what a ride!!!!

The process was very easy and no hassle. I was just testing it out due to the hype and end up signing a contract for my Kia Soul within a few minutes. Thank you for giving us folks with bad credit a second chance. Definitely you don't make it cheap but I did get my car as promise so it's a lot better then going to dealer and waste a lot of time there.

Very nice car....Only one key came with car, that's not good for a 2018 Car. Their pictures of the car showed one paint defect on the hood of the car, When I picked up the car, There was 3 paint chip defects on the hood of the car, I was really surprised about how they made that mistake. I pointed that out to the person who gave me the car, he seemed to ignore me.

Overall, I loved the Carvana process. The website is easy to use, allows you to search for a wide variety of criteria you want in a vehicle, save favorites and compare different vehicles side by side on all of the vehicle features. The options to finance using Carvana or your own third party financing exist, as well as paying cash and getting credit for trade-ins. The vehicle pictures were good and documented accurately any minor issues the vehicles may have had. The delivery option was great, as was the 7 day test period. I did not use the return process, as I love the vehicle I choose.
I used financing through my credit union, as I could get better rates than my pre-qualify indicated through Carvana. That did make the process take bit longer, and the messages I received from Carvana about how long I had before the vehicle was put into the general pool were worrisome (that was my biggest beef with the process-- the messages that said though I was trying to buy the vehicle, it might be made available to others for purchase). I made multiple calls to my credit union before calling Carvana, and asking their customer service to facilitate the payment process at which point, Carvana handled the rest and it went fine.
Carvana reps called or messaged only when necessary, and provided all the details about the process that I needed, from the delivery of the vehicle to the what documents would be needed (my driver's license and proof of insurance on the vehicle). The delivery person was polite and friendly and also knowledgeable about the last details during the paperwork process.
Overall, this was a great experience, particularly compared to using a dealership. In parallel, I looked at a couple other online and traditional car buying options, and quickly favored Carvana since there was much less hassle and WAAAAY less harassment by dealers. I would buy another car from Carvana, probably in the next couple years.

Wasted 4-days of my life that I can not get back! I do NOT see how this is easier, quicker or better than going to a traditional dealer?? The only advantage I could find was there is no "dealer fee" that's tacked on at the end that we ALL hate. Unfortunately I can NOT-NOT recommend using Carvana until they get the stuff together, they are very disorganized, different departments have no idea of what documents have been sent, and they NEVER call you, only email. I called the customer service line twice, the first time I got a message that my wait time was 8-min and I could either wait or have a rep call me back in approximately 8-min, the message said I would NOT lose my place by choosing that option which I did. It's now been 3-days and I still have yet to hear from ANYONE at Carvana. Sadly the call was about trying to finalize my pending deal that was stalled due to them not being organized. About a day later I tried it again and this time is was a 15-min wait and same thing, no phone call back again. You don't have to enter anything when choosing that option so it wasn't my error, they pick your number via caller id, repeat that number to you and then ask if this number is correct. I would love to know how many deals and/or customers Carvana has lost because of such POOR service, according to several recent professional reviews Carvana still has yet to turn a profit, uh-duh, really, that's a no brainer. I have owned an eCommerce business for several years and when you're an online ONLY business you had better make your number one priority that the customer is quickly and constantly contacted until the sale is finalized! If you do not do this simple task "potential customers" will walk, find another online seller or in this case another online seller or traditional dealership, find a different color, model, etc. they like better. With every traditional dealership have expensive websites advertising their cars and with there being 2-3 other "valid" online only car dealers operating, staying in constant contact until the sale is finalized is just common sense Carvana.......Come on! Carvana lost out on $36,000 with my sale plus whatever they would profit off my trade (BMW X5 M-Sport) simply because they couldn't find the payoff my bank faxed to the number THEY provided with the requested info attached. I received an email stating my time had elapsed and because I did provide that document the car is back for sale. I could have fixed the issue by calling in a 3rd time I'm sure and WAITING to speak with someone this time and not select the "callback option," but I had already wasted 4-days doing this crap when I do NOT have to do it at a traditional dealership. So I guess I'll just find my new car at a traditional dealership and screw the online crap, because in my opinion that's what it is, you shouldn't expect to get your vehicle quickly even though they tease you with it! With a traditional dealership I simply drive there, do a little negotiating which isn't a big deal to me, pay for it and then drive home WITH the new vehicle all within about 2.5 hours and won't have to waste 4-days talking to a damn computer chat rep!
There are plenty of great books out there that explain the "must do's" when running an online only business, I might suggest a little research, respectfully....

The vehicle I was purchasing from Carvana was a 2015 Hyundai Genesis Sedan 420hp 5.0L with 48k miles. Financing was a breeze, never ever have had such a easy process, that’s what the other star is for. Took 7 days for delivery, which was fine, but the car smelt bad inside, was dirty, smeared dirty windows all over. I couldn’t even seen out the windows at night they where so dirty, the sunroof doesn’t close correctly, gas lid won’t close. The car shook and wobbles over bumps on the highway. The wheel well is all smashed in, the front bumper is cracked in 3 different places, and the front bumper is pushed up.
Also, took the car to Dobbs, turns out the shaking is a bent rim, but didn’t really get into the wobble of the car over bumps. The suspension is rough, along with other issues wrong with the car.
I read that the car goes through a 150 point inspection and in the personal
car report that the car got new rotors, brake, and tires. How did they not see the rim and the suspension? Did someone bend it before hand? Carvana will be picking this vehicle up tomorrow and I will be continuing my car purchase elsewhere. On a side note, absolutely loved the car, the engine, the power, the styling, but all those issues and Carvana wants you to pay $50.00 per issue for the warranty and waste your time at dealerships and body shops. No thank you.

Buying a car online was awesome. It saved me a lot of time when I couldn’t reach dealership after getting off work. I loved the no hassle part dealing with salesmen. The only things that I didn’t like are: 1) my car was delayed in shipment due to my driver visor not working properly, and 2) I had a problem with my car door a few hours after I checked to make sure everything was working properly in the car. I would just make sure Carvana checks the car out as soon as someone has the order placed for the car. I think that would cut out a lot of time in delay for the shipment of the vehicle.

Carvanna..Seriously lacking in EFFICIENCY & ETHICS!
* Incapable of correctly filling out an RMV1 form & submitting to Insurance Company. Sent wrong/ missing info 4 different times.
* ZERO maintenance is done on cars before being sent to customers. Regardless of what their website says. The vehicle I purchased hadn’t had an oil change in a VERY LONG TIME. Dipstick showed dark “sludgy” oil. Delivery driver shrugged off as a common occurrence.
*Unauthorized Charges to my Bank Account!! Carvanna required a $300 down payment , however they took it TWICE ! Two separate charges of $300 EACH via bank transfer, $600 total. Deducted from my checking account . I immediately called Customer Service & was told.. “OH, I’m very sorry that happened.. He must’ve hit the button twice”. What? That doesn’t even make sense. The worst part is they’ll only refund my money by mailing me a check in 3-4 business days when it’s “posted on their end”. I suggested a 3 way call with my bank, exactly how Carvanna had done previously to verify funds. Surly my bank could verify unauthorized charges taken by them. Carvanna declined.. The entire situation is highly suspect..
Returning Vehicle .Carvanna is very untrustworthy. It’s disappointing, I was really looking forward to this purchase .
However, I really feel that I dodged a bullet with this one. Could’ve been disastrous had I not backed out. Especially seeing how I hadn’t heard a word about my registration , as promised. Making my new vehicle useless & sitting in my driveway. Massachusetts doesn’t recognize temp plates , so I would’ve had to rely on Carvanna actually following through. Judging by their past performance, it simply wasn’t going to happen.

I ordered a car I really wanted and had a delivery date. Without any notice the day before delivery they changed the date. I later had to purchase another car because they "couldn't find" the one I wanted. Very disappointing
